the fact it looked like a last-gen title didn't help, either. It looks like something the Sega Master System could've run. CT gave us multiple characters, multiple endings, popularized New Game + and Square's usual graphical effort. EB had none of that. The Nickelodeon gross-out ad campaign hurt, but not as bad as the game just not being up to par with other games coming out on the same console.
