This is most of my Poké collection so far.

Can't wait for Red and Green to be released, it would be great to pose them with the D-Arts. I'm looking forward to GSC's next Poké nendo announcement, although I'm wondering when that might be? They said every 3 months or so, but they announced 2 new ones last January, so that might push it out a bit? Who knows. Everyone reckons it will be Steven, but I hope it's another character; Leaf, or Gold would be nice!

>>5625959
Nice! They look great together. Have you preordered the Red and Green nendos too?

only collection I got is this handful of cheap chinese bootlegs. they are like half the size of the tomy figures and hit or miss with sculpting. Sometimes you got some pretty good sculpt considering it's bootlegs, other times the sculpt is just so bad. But the paint aps is just always bad. MSIA for size reference.

When D-arts came out, I was being cheap and only bought Mewtwo and Venusaur, because Venusaur line was my favorite.

Venusaur is still $40
Charizard is $300 now
Blastoise is $150

>>5649646
Blastoise was cool but Charizard was shit. The latter certainly wins for being poseable but I still would never pay retail for a shitty head sculpt.

Hiya, don't know if you're still there. Sadly these gashapon are very rare and usually skyrocket when they appears. Finding them won't be easy, finding them at a good price will really NOT be easy. If you're familiar to it, try stalking YahooJapan a lot.

As for other Mystery Dungeon things, there is pic related, some plushies (not common either) and some phone straps.
>>
>>5649646
Yeah it's pretty mind blowing how expensive they've gotten. I'd like to get Mewtwo sometime and complete my collection, but even he's hovering around the same price as Blastoise.

Thank you, even though this reply is so late (thankfully /toy/ is devil slow). I'd last seen those mystery dungeon houses in a yahoo auction somewhere, but couldn't even find much of an officially name, and thought they were from some small set instead of gachapon.
I guess I'll add them to my holy grail list, since I've never even seen the 6 things you just posted either.

>>
>>5659062
Hilariously shitty. It has no poseability, face(s?) are bad, head is just a mess, and the damn thing looks like a bootleg for full price. Iirc it could barely stand on its own or something, wouldn't be surprised.
And just look at the poor thing. It doesn't even look appealing.
>>
>>5659062

>>5632296
>>
>>5659082
No problem Anon. I'm not sure about an official name either. The truth is, I found the Kangaskhan one for ridiculously low some time ago, but the picture was bad and it was an obscure listing, so i'm sure I just got lucky. So I'm sure it's still possible just you know... Not easy to find.

The figures I posted are not that uncommon here in Europe. I think I have an extra Turtwig one if you're really interested. Otherwise, stalking the European Ebay is a very good idea for them. Good luck!

Hi, in term of quality and details, there is the Zukan (pic), especially if you like (part of) the family. You'll need to trow a little money though, I'd say at least 40$ for the set. If you don't care about the base, or about the other members of the family, you can grab them for way cheaper.

Sadly that is all I see for this family. Well you have the Tomy and the Kids one, they're not bad, just not incredible.

For Cyndaquil, you have more choice. The Hasbro one (both shiny and normal version) is quite big and good looking. The clipping figure (tiny but nice), the Zukan (very tiny by itself, but the family looks so good) the Diamond and Pearl Lottery figure (big!), etc etc. here is a pic of a nice Cyndaquil collection :

Pokemon is for kids. There's a reason 3.75" Marvel, or gimmicky toys thread also dies - they're for kids. Domestic market pokemon stuff is geared towards kids and the quality ain't there - despite that the majority of Pokemon vidya players are actually adult.

Pokemon in general still sells like hotcakes, everytime we had adult collectors item it always sell out like crack, e.g. Nendo Red, Cynthia, and the D-arts starters

People are unironically triggered. YES the majority of Pokemon toys are for kids. There is a clear difference between collector toys like Figuarts, Figma, NECA stuff vs. kid toys like Marvel Universe, or gimmicky Star Wars stuff.

All I'm saying is that collector grade Pokemon toys are rare and in-between that's why there's nothing to talk about in /toy/ which is a mostly adult collector oriented board.

Actually, it's a very thin line that blends together.
There's a reason why most collectors will buy kids toylines. Lots of collector quality features are found in most of the childrens lines /toy/ talks about. In many cases, a children's toy is found to be superior over collector equivalents.

There is pic related : the Zukan, great quality etc, a little pricey, but hopefully not the most expensive one.

There is also this diaporama : http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y453/AutumnalRain/037.jpg

Awesome, but rare and not cheap. It doesn't appear often so I can't give you an actual price range, but I'd say expect at least 40$. Some of these diorama go for a hefty price.

Now these two figures aren't easy to find and not cheap. If you're searching for more common figures, you have the kids obviously, and the old Tomy. Sadly the little guy doesn't get that much attention.

are the champion red venusaur blastoise and charizard comparable to the d-arts version, especially when taking price into consideration?

i know they're essentially statues, but they do have some articulation and come with cool effects pieces.

6" battle supreme Mega Venusaur. Comes with the old school rotor gimmick that flies over and hit your friend in the eye. I'm surprised that they still make toys with such gimmick, I remember there was a line about Dragon riders with such gimmick and it got canceled so fast because kids are hurting each other with it.

Picked it up at TRU for 15 bucks, the gimmick works, decent size, decent articulation (you can swivel the legs, and the tree on his back). Literally the best purchase I've made for bang per buck in years

>>
>>5700011
That line up looks really great! Not a fan of the Mega evolutions, but there's something enticing about their scales.

Do you have any others for Charizard and Blastoise?

Also, Bulbasaur is about 2.4 feet tall, so he's easily in scale. You could even argue, with Venusaur's size, he could be smller. The nendoroid bulbasaur would probably be a better fit.
>>
>>5701521
I have the Mega Blastoise, comes with your regular water jet projectile gimmick and decent size too. Unfortunately I don't have the D-arts version of the two - I was procrastinating for Blastoise, didn't realize that he skyrocket in price in just the last 6 months. Not really a fan of the D-arts charizard line or the charizard line in general.

There is no Mega Charizard on the 6" Battle Supreme line, but there is this >>5676496 or you could buy the 6" tall articulated sofubis they're both in scale with the D-arts Charizard.

Actually just bought the Tomy Hawlucha and Machamp on a whim earlier today. Hawlucha has a nice sculpt and pose but literally only three points of articulation. I realize for less than $10 that's what I'm gonna get, though. Machamp actually has over 20 PoA, however; you can do a lot with the arms and the legs have a decent amount of motion. I rather like it.

>>5701836
Pretty sure his pic is representative of the "3-4 pack shit" rather than the perfect scale.
>>

Are you talking about the 6" Machamp? Where did you get it? He's 40 bucks on ebay/amazon now for some crazy reason, only 2 weeks ago he was $12

He's not quite 6" tall (unless you count the upper arms, but he's about in that scale, yeah. It was just in the Toy aisle at Walmart for $13. I live in New York (state, not city) for the record.

If it's only going for $40+ right now then I guess I lucked out.

>>
>>5709017
Not that Anon, but I agree that their range is limited and Charizard's jaw is derpy when you open it too far.

But still they're definitely the nicest and rarest Pokémon figures ever made, despite their flaws. So I don't know why you'd sell Charizard, but that's just me.

The thing about dragon riders and the Barbie spinners which came out at the same time, was that those were basically action figures with the spinning blades attached to them so the entire figure would be launched into the air.
