The suit is fully lined in black on the inside. It's rather thick but easy enough to put on and take off.
Her hair smells like the fabric softener from Volks oil spray for wigs.
I bought this wig by mistake and it's like 7-8" so it doesn't fit my doll and unable to return it. I think it might be more for a 1/4 doll than 1/3. Would anyone here like to buy it?

Paintwise its acrylic, generally I use the same exact stuff thats sold for model kits (Vallejo). Full supplies used are acrylics, soft chalk pastels (not oils), pearl powder (to give the glittery eyeshadow effect when wanted), sometimes watercolor pencils, matte sealant, and acrylic gloss.
Theres hundreds of tutorials on the makeup, it kind of depends on what you want. I haven't gone looking for a while but if it makes it easier for you its actually usually called a "faceup/face-up". If you're planning to work on small scale, also look for fashion doll repaints (Monster High repaints especially are usually very similar style wise) as they're already scaled smaller. The techniques are slightly different on smaller scale.
I can't wait to treat the jeans and when they get easier to put on.

Other anon is correct, buy a doll you really want, all of them are pretty much "you get what you pay for".
They will not fall apart, they will usually just look like they were made by an inexperienced artist.
Read tutorials, ask questions before you do anything and if you fear to fail, ship the doll to an artist.
Else it's like any other valuable posession, don't drop it or do stupid shit with it.

For blushing and pearl powder, Schmincke pastels.
For line work I use Mr. Hobby Color Aqueous acrylic paint, diluted with Liquitex flow-aid.
I used cheaper paint before, but the little pots last a long time and are of really good quality.
For airbrush I use Vallejo Game/Model Air, the mentioned Mr. Hobby ones, Schmincke Aero and Liquitex Ink.
There are a lot of tutorials out there on how to paint a face-up.
It's basically sealing, blushing with pastel and a brush, sealing, more blushing, sealing, line work with acrylics, sealing, gloss.
Very simplified, but it's honestly no rocket science.

ringdoll is my suggestion, they aren't "cheap" but they are MUCH cheapER than other companies. ($500 for an SD doll, $300 for MSD) their dolls are actually good looking.
impldoll though i approve of. they are cheap but they are improving now that they are copying iplehouse's aesthetic (as well as their name) they are cheaper than ringdoll and i've heard good things about their resin. they also offer a lot of skin color options.

It's mostly the way it looks like, especially with thinner parts like the finger tips, that might put someone off if they receive it without further knowledge.
A lot of people just don't like it, same for french resin.
I had two ER types at home and they didn't yellow much (my dolls are all stored in a dark room though).

The mod wasn't made by her, it was made by a popular Blythe customizer.
Which actually came with a lot of drama since the artist agreed on only making the mod but felt bad after a while because she wanted to do "full customs", which in the end meant the head was with her for quite a while since she just didn't feel like doing it.
The fact that Roterwolkenvogel only wanted her mod but not the rest was something she didn't seem to like.
You can still see that the eyemech is blotchy af and when you see the doll in real there are some not so nice spots (like the mentioned added hairs), but it's mostly well done.
I honestly have no clue why Kayke decided to completely give up on her commissions.

naw i've had similar pile ups of pearl powder when working with it, but i actually took the 2 seconds of effect to brush it away. she might have even doused the thing in pearl powder without waiting for it to dry, which is why she couldn't get it out (that is, if she even tried)

I think there are quite a lot of female perusing /jp/ in general. I used to almost exclusively visit /jp/ a few years ago and that's what I've noticed.
I think the most female-heavy boards are /cgl/ (duh), /fa/, /ck/, /adv/, /r9k/ and /toy/. Could probably throw /a/ in there too but since it one of the most populous boards, statistically it will contain lots of female (in what proportion I don't know).
