Rebels art style makes me sad. I miss the sharp edges of Clone Wars.
>>
>>5616227
Yeah, the Clone Wars was much better than rebels, in many aspects. Personally I hate how the star destroyers look like giraffes with thos necks and the stumpy ties. But I really disliked the clone wars minifig faces, and would love a new (adult) Ahsoka with a face that fits the artsyle of the rest of my collection
>>
>>5616227
was there a jurassic world set with a gyrosphere? I know it appears in the lego JW and dimensions games but is it a real thing? I'd start with that and see if all the pieces used exist in more generic forms.

That transition from the simplified Star Wars faces got me the most. Lego Clone Wars figs were so fucking ugly.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I was ludicrously happy with that wave.

Making a gang for Red to fight was the reason why I got three skeles to begin with; the Sunnydale Heights clique was just a last-second idea.

Well, they are the least-threatening (in Red's mind, anyway) gang so far.

Power ranking is definitely Skulls<8th Street Pirates<B-Boys

Plus since I only have three of them, their on-screen numbers are more limited than the sprites in a NES beat-em-up. I should BL some more skullmask heads and plain black torsos.

I'm not going to claim this theory is airtight, but hear me out. Disney wave 2 is going to have Goofy, I mean it has to, right? Goofy would benefit from having longer limbs. Woody isn't in wave 1. Woody has long limbs! So, I'm going to call Goofy, Woody, and Jessy in the next round of Disney figs.

I also recently found some older Disney mice. They are kinda huge.
>>
>>5617043
Isn't that a duplo.

My prediction for series 2:
- Wizard's apprentice Mickey
- Elsa
- Goofy
- Nick or Judy from Zootopia
- Woody
- Maybe Pinocchio
- Chip and Dale

What I'd like to see:
- Oswald
- Scrooge McDuck
- Mr. Fredrickson from Up
- Wreck-it Ralph
- Baymax (civillian version)
- Gogo (civillian version)
- Fredzilla
- Duffy

Hey guys. I have a question about the Power Functions IR Reciever. I know it has a 30' range, but my questions is, if I use an XL motor for my RC's Rear Wheel Drive, and an M motor for it's steering, can I control the motors separately with the two different joysticks on the small IR Remote? Or do I need to get on seperate IR Reciever for eac motor in which case? Also in that sense, I want to build an RC boat using two L motors. Can I control those with the seperate joysticks on the small controller with one Reciever, or will I need two receivers there, too?

>can I control the motors separately with the two different joysticks on the small IR Remote
Yes, that's the intention. Why would you need two receivers or remotes for just two motors?

Of note is that the IR Reciever has two outputs for two sets of motors, but like the old 9V parts before them the plugs for the motors can be stacked, letting them be controlled in tandem. This means, for example, that you can have two drive motors and one steering motor.

If you wanted to control three motors individually (e.g. primitive crane), however, then you'd need a second receiver. Do be careful as receiver power output can also be limited by battery box power or number of attached motors.

The minimum of PF parts for a simple RC car would be any battery box, any two motors, the IR receiver, and the remote.
>>
>>5617629
>tfw I just pack new parts by category (sometimes not even that if I don't have enough ziplock bags) and used are just all in the same

Friend, never feel bad. I ordered from a store with 2300 Feedback, and 3000 orders, been a member since 2010. The store has about 8000 unique lots and almost 100,000 items.

Also, Link to store?

It'll be more than self explantory 9nce you build the gas pumps/tyre inflating station and so forth outside. Maybe more stuff outside, gas stations always have those cargo cage things full of firewood, bbq lighters etc.

Interior looks fine, but I strongly suggest tiling your floor

What is your opinion on this set?

They did a great job recreating the game village. I wish they haven't fucked up the cute marketplace tough... And the fig sellection is horrible. Instead of Iron Golem they should put 2 more villagers and baby cow isntead of baby pig.

Obviously cool, but like alot of recent D2C sets they're not really for anyone. A kid might like the Minecraft sets, but probably isn't gonna get a 200 dollar set. And an adult wouldn't probably spend that much on a set that's pretty ugly and mostly basic bricks

Probably cash, when you hit the general dark age bracket you've suddenly got other things to occupy your wallet with.

However I know what caused my dark age, and it wasn't cash.

It was moooooooooooooths.
>>
>>5618298
my guess is that when you reach puberty you try too hard to fit in and to "grow up" because if you stick out amongst others they tend to make you their scapegoat. Only when you reach college age you start to understand that everything you thought was bullshit and you should enjoy your hobbies. That's how i see it, prolly others have different reasons but this is what i've noticed to be the reason with most people
>>
>>5618307
It's all Lego fault because they still have no system when head needs to be molded and when not. And molding head+ armor molds should stop. I hate it.
>>
>>5618297

Terry Bogard pls
>>
>>5618298

I don't think dark ages are necessarily intentional.

I think I sold off my LEGO stuff around 1999/2000. I was like, 16 at the time and half way through highschool, and video games and stuff were more cool and more important to me at that time.

It wasn't that I really though toys or LEGO was uncool anymore, I was more just interested in games, and other hobbies at time. I ended up unloading all of my toys at garage sales and stuff for extra cash.

Boy, was that a mistake...

not him but, we can find exceptions in that consistency. Ultron uses minifig head plus helmet while C3PO uses molded head (and a terrible one in my opinion), even though his head mimics the human head. 1990s-early 2000s were when the first era of set designers started retiring, so LEGO hired a load of fresh architects and art students to replace them. They had no idea of toy design and production, so they created one-use molds for pieces, invested heavily in themes that weren't even product tested, had no idea of cost or price-points (some sets were sold at below cost because the designers had no idea how much the materials cost) They literally checked every box of what not to do. Its what lead to the meltdown and almost collapse of LEGO in 2002-3.

Pieces like this were created because of the ineptitude of the designers and miss understanding of LEGO construction.
