The purple pieces are Zerglings. You can find them in the Blizzard store.
The storm troopers are a recent Japanese release. Search Star Wars Best Show at the Big Bad Toy Store.
The tan soldiers are the Corps Elite, recently released by Wal Mart. They come a bucket of 100 some pieces. You get 96 guys divided equally by pose in three colors plus some scenery pieces.

so what's a good place to buy this stuff, Amazon has a decent selection, but a lot of it is kinda overpriced
posting one of my favorite things related to this, and a site that shows a bunch more;

I love the look of those Corps blokes. Very imperial guard/60's sci fi army look. I might pick up a few sets, any ideas on what would make decent enemies for them for dioramas? Dinosaurs seem too easy. Know any obscure alien/such monsters that would look good?
>>5612788
No one will believe me, but I had that. Probably when I was 7 or 8?
>>5612788
I love the DFC figures. I pick them up at toy shows a lot.
The archers are my favorite...though their bow strings and arrow tips tended to break. I have a couple that are completely unharmed though.
>>5612989
I like to use the Zerglings from Starcraft(the purple figures in my original post >>5612464)
>Dark Greens for life
As a kid I also had Black ones decked out with gas masks and MP5s

omfg
What is the name of this? These guys might be the toyline from my y I have fruitlessly been looking for for years.
>>5613108
*my youth
>>5611333
Holy fucking shit, I have been looking for this for ages. I bought shitloads of army packs of these guys on sale when I was young. Had about six or seven different factions. I need them again. I love you anon.
>>5613013
I am pretty jealous of you in that regard, cause while I had access to plenty of cool toys as a kid, never saw those ones in person
>>5613033
man you know considering those things are basically Public Domain(along with a lot of other semi-bootleg and actual bootleg toys), I'm surprised no one's tried replicating them to sell to nerds on the internet
>>5611316
Zero hour is the shit, i still have a bunch of these guys with vehicles, too bad they are extremely rare
>>5612788
It seems like the cheap shit like this is pretty rare nowadays. I don't ever really see it. I think your best best is still trolling flea markets and shit. Most of the time online people will know what they have and overcharge for it. A lot of times I'll see baggies of random shit and one or two figures will be in there for not much money.
I did collect enough stormtroopers to fill a platoon !!
>>5614845
The poses are actually copied from DnD manuals. DFC got into some trouble in the 80s when they were originally made over it.
>>5615960
Basically this is the way to do it. Mostly all you find in dollar stores and the like are cheap copies of Timmee Soldiers and Cowboys/Indians.
You can find some good stuff every once in awhile though if you check the non-chain dollar stores. I have found some good stuff at the beach junk shops.
Making me want to do a big battle like this again, with a better camera.
>>5616219
There is nothing quite like busting out the soldiers and getting a massive battle going.
>>5616767
Lack of suitable space is my greatest obstacle.
>>5616767
What's the big blue guy from?
>>5616870
Looks like starcraft space marine, I think blizzard sellls them
>>5616870
>>5618164
Correct. They are on clearance for 4.99. You get a bag of 18 space marines and 18 zerglings.
>>5616853
I just sacrifice my bedroom floor...or an outside table if the weather is nice.
>>5618184
Can't find them..
Got a link?

Thank you, pity they went up in price again.

Believe it or not, Walrmart has some pretty kick ass stuff. Normally I abhor walshit and everything they stand for, but damned if they don't have some cool stuff. (Haven't bought any yet. Thinking about it tho.) Imperial brand ninja's (with knock off pirates), a pretty sweet fairy tail set, zombies, and those painted dinosaurs\frogs\bugs\farm animal stuff who's molds have been around since the stone age.
They also have some of the WORST army men I've ever seen. Not even Timmee knock offs. They're JUST tier. Super tempted to break my no walmart for myself rule.
>>5620680
The green soldiers in this picture are from walmart. They come in a bucket of 96 guys in like 8 or 9 poses in three colors plus like a dozen accessories. Look under Corps Elite.
worse company

wat
>>5618184
Looks like something from warhammer
>>5612788
i used to buy from this company.
http://www.michtoy.com
haven't bought from them in a while but they were pretty good when i did.
>>5630193
The other ones tend to be slightly cheaper plastic. The sci-fi esque ones are pretty good quality though.
>>5630904
They remind me of Starship Troopers.
