Can anyone help me ID where these are from? They don't look like Best Lock to me, but I could be wrong. The plastic and studs are very rigid and they are military themed.

Yeah it seems like MegaBloks releases are random and quiet.

Sometimes the MemeBook page posts stuff as "available in stores now!" but that's no indicator of what I've actually seen on shelves in Orlando.

Yo, I've never been big on Mega Bloks but I am going to be on the Destiny ones like stink on shit. Too bad they don't seem to be doing as many Titans, I'd love to try and build my main.

You should look for Enlighten military stuff.

Finally got round to assembling a Sluban Titanic today and wasn't impressed with the quality of bricks. The plastic seems too flexible and the bricks don't hold together.
>>
Recently I ordered some SS troops from Alibaba with the intention of doing some head swaps etc and recently came across this.

Does anyone know if the scale wrong for Lego-ish minifugs considering the little CoD dudes are bigger/bulkier?
>>
>>5613098
Mine is the same. I becomes a real problem where the hull connects to the decks, because there are only 2 connectors, neither of which hold, so if you don't pick it up in a very specific way the base and hull fall off and shatter into a billion pieces. I may end up just gluing some of the bicks on mine in place, since I wanted it as a Titanic toy rather than a brickset to disassemble and rebuild.
>>
>>5613098
I got the jet, and yeah, same.

The brick separator is total adorbs, however.
>>
Pyrates and Dragons were the best toy lines of Mega Bloks
>>
>>5613098

Sounds like a serious problem with the construction quality. I bet if it got one decent strike on the side, it would pop right apart. Maybe even cleave right in half!
>>
>>5613102

There's one seller who has a bunch of older MB in mostly bulk lots, I'm guessing "factory surplus" since these are definitely the real deal but yeah the lot I ordered is 50 assorted UNSC weapons, came to about $25 Cdn. Didn't have a Covie equivalent which is a shame and most of the guns are BRs but for my needs it's perfect.

I've figured it out, tried the same set and part and got the same result, tried a few more parts and some did the same thing but others added normally. Some of the parts have unusual codes (ie the one you need AS-CNG66-07) and they include the set number in them, probably cuz they're only made for that specific set. I think they're redirecting you cuz it's a request that can't be handled by the normal system and you'd have to make a request directly to Mattel.

I don't what you mean by "Mattel account" though, it's a pretty standard contact form displayed. You'll want to try the "International" link at the top, it leads to contact info for wherever you're at so that's probably the route you'll need to take for that specific part.

I'm probably going to end up getting both Bebop and Rocksteady sets. Will probably avoid Raph and Leo's solo sets since they come in the Krang set.

All the femspartans do, but they look bizarrely hot with their chest armor stripped off and their limb armor intact. Some kinda muscle girl fetish, I dunno.

I need to get some appropriately scaled female heads. I was thinking of seeking out some of those 2 inch avengers toys, or maybe some of those mysterious blindbagged DC and Marvel figures. I dunno what they're like in there, but I bet they could be handy.

they do have the same level of consistency. I've had plenty of missing parts from larger lego sets.

Florida just has really open public records laws that allow the media to publish all the crazy "Florida Man" stories.

I can walk into 7/11 right now and throw down a 2 spot for a mug shot newspaper.

It's literally just a newspaper with mug shots of every person arrested and booked the past week.

Also

You don't get to slam someone's head into concrete from mount and then claim you were unarmed after you get shot. That's lethal force anon, and legally you can respond with lethal force in a free state.
>>

it's usually only larger sets. only large megabloks set I'e bought was the only one missing a piece, the Covenant Phantom.

Just got the American Revolution fourpack. Man, I'm really sad to see the Ass Bloks go, and this was a really dire note to end the line on. I might have to find another set to buy instead, just so this isn't my last AC Mega Bloks purchase.

We've got three redcoats here, but only one of them is decently painted. The other two don't have the white on their coats, making them look like just some guys in red coats, rather than like Redcoats. In fact, the three of them have completely non-uniform uniforms, between their shirts, boots, gloves, hats, and coats. Normally I'm into that sort of thing, but with the coats in particular it just comes off as lazy. Plus, you only get three of them.

The terrain piece is nice, though a few of the pieces are kinda lazy. They have this piece, it's shaped like three barrel pieces stacked up, I don't know why they didn't just give three barrel pieces, unless the parts count thing is way more tight than I thought.

The flag sucks, too. Printed onto hard plastic.

The assassin's pretty good. He comes with a new piece, a tomahawk kinda shaped like the AC logo. His costume's nice, too. All in all, great assassin.

I always welcome more terrain, so that's going to fit right in with my collection, but the microfigs are a bit of a disappointment. On my desk, the french revolution soldiers (a *much* better set) are British navy, so these guys will be suitable as their marine buddies. Now I just need to build a boat big enough for them to have some Master and Commander adventures.

Thank god I only got it for retail. And, I guess, if I'm gonna have these guys as marines... I should probably get at least one more set...
>>

The bigger lines like Halo and CoD don't.

Some of the other weird shit that doesn't do well, like AssCreed got heavily discounted, and people still aren't buying it.

I guess only time will tell how well Destiny sets do. I hope it becomes as lucrative as the Halo/CoD lines, but it isn't nearly as popular or old of a franchise so I have doubts. Destiny doesn't even have a lot of vehicles designs, or cool locations. I just hope they end up putting out a bunch of different versions of the three classes, at least.

Alright, before I get into my initial thoughts on the Cabal Interceptor Destiny set this is pretty much my first Mega Bloks buy in over a decade.

The vehicle itself is pretty much a 1:1 to how it looks in the game with a few minor inconsistencies. The build itself was slightly annoying, but somewhat satisfying. The Titan figure is probably the best part of this set. The articulation is astonishing for its scale, and the little details are really cool. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the sets.
>>
>>5653839

I just got mine earlier today too.

I pretty much agree with most of what you've said. I've bought a couple smaller Halo sets in the past, though, even though I've never played Halo, just because I thought they looked kind of cool.

I've forgotten how crappy the pieces are, and how not great they fit together, though....I'm a person who buys a lot of LEGO stuff, though, so I am used to their quality standards, and this really isn't that close.

In the end, it didn't end up too bad. It was a lot more solid as a finished set than it felt while building it. I kind of hate the shitty, two-toned faux "swirl" of different colors in the pieces. Makes them look and feel cheap. The minifigures are fucking fantastic, though. Definitely the best part of MegaBloks, overall. I was mostly buying those aforementioned Halo sets because the figures were so cool.

All in all, I'll definitely be buying the other Destiny sets. One of my only real disappointments looking ahead is the lack of Titans, and the lack of minifigs for any bad guys other than a bunch of Fallen Captains...
>>
>>5653851

The front part opens up to reveal a little reactor/power source, which is kind of neat. The thrusters are all on a few different hinges to allow them to be posed in a number of different ways which is cool.

And the guns have quite a bit of articulation too, which is nice.
