How many figures do you have in your collection at a time /toy/? Do you keep other stuff in storage or sell off anything not on display?
I've been collecting since I was a little kid and I haven't gotten rid of a figure yet. I never realized how big my collection was until recently, and I have way more figures than I can count. Not only is my room full of toys (which the next house I move into must have a collection room) but my closet is also full. I need to sale them but I haven't brought myself to it yet.
>all those Funko Pops
>TWISTED FUCKING PSYCHOPATH pose
I hope that's being posted ironically
Also about two dozen. I've plateaued and currently can't get any more without buying another cabinet which I don't have the feng shui for in my current accommodation. The other thing is the empty boxes and packaging, I save the ones that are recloseable.
I currently have 46, but it ranges from Anime scales to Star Wars vintage.
>How many figures do you have in your collection at a time /toy/?
Too many to count.
>Do you keep other stuff in storage or sell off anything not on display?
Storage. Sold or gave away a few things before. Might do again.
>How many figures do you have in your collection at a time /toy/?
As in, on display and not total number owned? Maybe 60 or so, I suppose. But there's a lot of mini/SD figures in there, and it's spread over 2 distinct and distant areas, so it's not terrible.
I have a lot in storage. Just kind of ballparking off the top of my head...
30+ Marvel figures
10+ DC figures
60+ MOTUC figures
30+ WWE figures
20+ GI Joe figures
10+ Robot Damashii figures
15+ Figuarts figures
30+ random import figures
40+ random non-import figures

My collection is massive.
I keep things well organized in my storage area, and then I also have a display area where I rotate things out every few months.
Sometimes during certain times of the year I will get old stuff out for a cool display, like Halloween related toys, etc.

Fucking scum.
thousands
I don't get how anyone can have less than 50.
Tiny apartment? Toy not your main hobby? Just started this year? Too poor?

Depends on what they collect. A <50 collection with high-tier figures (1/6, expensive Chogokins, etc) is still pretty damn impressive.
Thousands on the other hand, you either collect cheaper shit or you have a problem.

I suspect many people have, at some point, been completely without toys. Someone who hasn't been collecting for long or has a specific area of interest could easily have a small but satisfying collection.
Couple of dozen. Fifty maybe? One hundred?
I have no idea, I rarely have more than 10 on display.

I try to limit myself as I actually display the things i like. I cant stand people who collect them and just build a fucking wall of pop figures.

Around 10 actual figures and almost the entire Marvel LEGO line.
I used to have more but the older I get the less things in general I want in my house. So I got rid of at least 100+ toys over the last couple of years. I will only buy the things I truly want and if it's not on display, why is it in my house? I don't want to be a hoarder.
Sometimes I think back on the toys I've let go with regret.. but ultimately I'm a lot happier with less clutter.
