Is this the best option for a Kenshiro figure? He's pretty short and just overall underwhelming.
>>5571896
You could try this Kenshiro, I hear he's pretty big.
>>5571896
Sadly, yes.
Kaiyodo/Xebec have released some Kens in the past, but they're all stuck in semi-dynamic asymmetrical poses. The "best" is the Kenshiro from the 200X series that had like 5 or so variants, but it honestly mostly sucks. Tiny poorly sculpted head, weird swivel cuts to "simulate" hinged movement, and really brittle plastic. And it's roughly 7.5" tall.
There was also the Hyper Hero Dynamite one, but that is even bigger at nearly 8" and has a metal body gimmick that sucks and makes it far too top heavy to stand for even 4 minutes.

Pretty sure thats Jonathan Joestar.
They do look similar designwise.

The joke
Your head
>>5571896
There's no good HNK figures. Your only option is patience.
I wish Bandai would get the licence once they're done with Kinnikuman.
>>5571896
The Medicom one is kinda cool.
The best kenshiro figure to date is debatable, but my favorite is the one packed in with Roah's horse from the finale of the 200x line. Its the earliest use of revo joints and sculpted by the guy who did the revoltech fist of the north start figures
>>5579874
He's very expensive, but is much taller then his revo counterparts. I posted a picture a few months back of him posed fighting a marvel Select carnage.
>>5579882
Still got it? Would love to see it.
Problem is if Bandai or Medicos doesn't invest in a full line, then Revoltech will still always be the most complete. Hard to compete with a line that has Rei, Raoh, Toki, Juza, Shuu, Kaioh.

no mr heart, rin, bat, mamiya or airi tho
>>5580355
I wanted Shachi too.

I just want to finish my Nanto five.
>Three Reis
>Thouzer
>Shew
>Shin
Are the HnK Revoltech that bad? I can see how the thigh swivel can get loose easily because they are not on revoltech joint but how is the overall articulation on these guys?
>>5582061
They're decent for a near decade old line
>>5582061
Weird. Not up to modern figure standards, but the sculpts and paint are good for the most part on everything past the first Kenshiro (they switched from the sloppy wash on the skin to subtle airbrushing for every subsequent figure, looks miles better).
I really like my Kingdom of Shura Ken, but he is a fucking midget. He's slightly shorter than the SHF Stormtroopers and about one of his own pin-sized heads taller than SHF Bruce Lee.
>>5582068
The hips are the weirdest part. The design's quite smart in that it doesn't break up the sculpt very much and allows for high-kicking poses, but the range is very limited. You can get a) high kicks/side kicks, b) standing straight up, and c) sitting down out of them, and that's it.
>>5582080
Still, on the whole it's not bad for such an old figure. The sculpting's miles above most other Revoltechs, I hope if a new company picks up the licence they bring Matsuura Ken in to do the sculpting again.
>release all of the nanto roku seiken except Yuda
Did Kaiyodo forget that he exist or is he really that unpopular?
Vulcanlog should redo the HnK line. Ironically there's barely any reviews of this line considering source material is the grandfather of shounen anime.

I think they've reworked the hip articulation for the shura and the musou figures, pre-shura figures all have a v-cut swivel instead of the typical thigh articulation that allows forward and back movements.
>>5585531
I did not realise that. Not sure if I want to pick up Jagi now after all...
