For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

It's on my to-do list
Also first for superior visor suits
>>5560312
>>5560314
I wasn't originally going to paint it but I decided I really like it a lot once I finished it.
I think the shields parts make better claws than shields.
Very cool little kit.

Which one should I build in the morning?

I kind of wonder how this guy would look in in this pose in yellow and black.
>>5560345
when I paint it, I'm 100% going to paint claws instead of a shield. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I love the big lion claws.
>>5560352
Claws are always super cool and I wish more mobile suits used them as their main weapons.
RG Zeta worth getting?
>>5560369
You will be really impressed with how they manage to fit the transformation in such a small form.
Then never pick it up again because damn is it a pain to pose.
>>5560147
I could really go for an RX-78NT-1 2.0.
>>5560509
This is one of my hopes too. The Alex was something I was wantng to pick up, but I've heard the HGUC has very poor articulation and suffers from old engineering. It could do with an update.
>>5560524
The hguc is pretty nice, but yea i would like either a revive hg or an rg
>>5560524
Same goes for the MG as well.
Worked some more on the cockpit and started on the chest piece too. I'm trying to make that similar to the custom version but it still needs some sanding and putty work. The idea behind what I'm working towards with this build is a sort of a second graze salvaged by tekkadan. I'm trying to make it similar to the first but not identical.
As for the cockpit, the basic shape is there now. I'll add the details like controls and headrest in tomorrow.
>>5560577
And here it is closed. If you look down from the top you can see into the cockpit, but I'll work on that later. If it comes down to it I'll just ignore it since I plan to display it opened anyways.
>>5560369
so good I got two of em
>>5560299
Now I haven't watched IBO, but is that actually supposed to be a fork decal on the skirt armor? That would be pretty funny considering how chunky the suit is.
Is there any way to procure a P-Bandai cover-kit from like 2010? They made a GUN-EX cover for the MG Crossbone and I have a powerful need.
I know my odds aren't good, but I figured I'd ask before settling for the 1/100 NG Gun Blastor that comes with parts for the Gun-EZ.
>>5560798
Hey, super cool. Can I see them in waverider mode?
>>5560807
>tfw no new Gun-Ez/Gun Blastor kit
>tfw can't find a place that sells them
Shit sucks
>>5560807
It's a B-Club garage kit, not from P-bandai. Meaning quantities are low, prices are high and it's cast in resin.
>>5560818
Oh, I thought B-club was an extension of P-Bandai like how FOX owns FX.
>>5560813
Yeah, and customizing my own would be a pain in the ass despite how simple the suit is. Look at all the shit this guy had to do to the MG Victory to make a Gun-EZ.
>>5560821
I tried to make my own with a HG V2, didn't get very far. It's a lot of work, it's sad to see such a sexy design not get anything new or restocks on the older kits, the old 1/144 isn't that terrible and the free stand is really good.
>>5560822
The 1/144 isn't BAD, but the proportions are so wonky. It's stocky like some of the more QUALITY frames from the anime depict it, but I think it's really intended to be more of a sleek no frills suit.
>>5560820
B-Club predates the P-Bandai webshop. They are a small division of Bandai that produces garage kits, they've been around for a decade or two, not sure.
>>5560826
Indeed, but it'd be a bit less work I'd imagine. The worst part about it other than proportions would be the balls the arms and shoulders are on.
>>5560524
The Alex is usually known to be the gundam that had the worst timing of release as an MG when older stuff wasn't fully phased out yet, same with hguc as they didn't started standardizing stuff like pivoting shoulders or clear beams. SO the Alex is usually the last one to use old Model technology. I just hope the Alex gets another chance, even as a revive or a real grade is good too.
>>5560828
Yeah, and I suppose with a little Pla-plate here and there, I could possibly stretch out the torso, maybe take the shoulders in a bit with some sanding... Might slim out the profile...
>>5560827
I did not know that. But that's fun to know.
>>5560808
I've only transformed them once, and that was before I topcoated them
>>5560848
I was only hasslin' ya. I know those things don't transform without bursting to pieces and ruining the hard work you put in.
Zeta > Waverider anyways.
>>5560801
In ibo gusion initially belogs to a geoup of space pirates called the brewers. The fork is their symbol and their leader is a fat orc looking guy who commands a legion of child soldiers. The weird looking guy who pilots gusion pretty much keeps their kids in line through beatings.
>>5560853
I started to transform one and I swear I could hear the plastic starting to develop stress fractures
>>5560868
Well don't ruin that shit on my account, man.
Does anyone know what this thing is? I found it on mandy for 200 yen and I can't tell what line or whatever it's from.
I hope its bootleg.
>>5560952
forgot image because im a big old silly billy, also i already know that it is the maxter, although it was under "Gundam Mac Star"
>>5560952
NG 1/144 gundam maxter. It doesn't really look like the Japanese box I have so it could be a knockoff. 200 seems fair
>>5560966
Well, atleast now I have my favorite G Gundam and I was planning on getting the 1/144's anyway.
>>5560953
Google search says it's from a line called "Mecha Collection"
Probably some random subline.
>>5560332
That graze is missing one piece of his calf armor
What's the most detailed Gouf kit you can get?
>>5561109
the gouf revive, gouf custom, or gouf prototype groud version are all nice HG
>>5561109
I'm pretty sure none of the goufs actually have that many panel lines, the HGs inherently do not have that much detailing and the MGs are based off of the animation and are very sleek and greeble-free. If you want panel lines out the wazoo then you're best bet would be the Neo-grade gouf custom resin conversion.
man the Graze Ein is fucking tall.
>>5561312
The better to stomp orphans with.
Are these any good for weathering?
>>5561044
The knee is just bent, there's no missing piece.
WIP. Is the commander horn too large? Also general thoughts please? 1/2.
>>5561956
2/2
>>5561956
Yes and it looks bent
>>5561964
Thanks. Will find a smaller one or sand down the current one. Other thoughts, please? I'm going to sand the pegs on the missile launcher.
>>5561967
I guess it depends on the replacement you use, but the angle on the mockup seems too far swept back, I feel it should be more upright
>>5561974
Alright, sound advice. Does the weaponry feel ok? I tried getting fairly in-universe UC items.
>>5561982
feels fine for an aquatic suit, I would feel you wouldn't want too much stuff hanging off and getting caught on things underwater
>>5562022
Yep, that's why I stuck to one weapon on either side of the backpack. The heat rid in terms of the shoes would be stored in the hand, on the model I would just take it out of the part. Just sticking it straight into the hand wouuld look wonky, so I chose to put a connector. Thank you.
A fairly different idea I had from most customs I've seen was to hollow out the particle cannon area (red circles) and replace them with missiles there. I'd lose some mobility on the upward/downward tilt but it would be cool. Unsure though, it's already got dakka.
>>5561109
in 10 years if the rest of the thunderbolt manga gets adapted you can get the flight type
>>5562220
kek.. if only. I doubt we'll see more than like 10 episodes.
>>5562266
Isn't it only slated for 4 OVA?
>>5562271
it might get more if the updated kits sell well, we can hope anyway.
>>5562276
Either way we are confirmed for getting MGs this year.
Also I may be remembering it wrong, but wasn't Vertical looking into doing an English release of the manga?
Hey guys I just picked up a Super Fumina but have been having trouble finding a tutorial on how to paint anime girl hair. Anyone have anywhere they would like to point me? Or any advice for the kit overall?
>>5562288
Besides the face, the ankles are the worst part of the kit. They basically have no articulation once you put the armor around them.
>>5562297
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I was aware of the face and hair but am confused about how to work with it.
>>5562288
Either here or in the Shinki threads someone did something pretty neat with their FAG's hair and I can't remember what it was, I think smudged pastels or something
>>5562288
Look up guides on painting garage kits. Its essentially the same thing.
>>5562288
Super Fumina seems to be rising in prices. I won't be surprised if its 50$ like nobel because of scalpers.
>>5562340
>scalping super fumina
For what reason? I wouldn't touch that pile of shit ever
>>5562342
>I don't want it, so clearly no one else does, or possibly could
>>5562342
Now that BFT's over it's likely not going to be reprinted too often and there'll always be a few people who want a creepy-looking robutt girl to hotglue, so scalpers will eventually get some buyers.
>>5562276
Speaking of which, what exactly was updated in the new Thunderbolt kits? They look exactly the same as the old ones to me.
>>5562359
Wasn't it just "anime accurate colors"?
>>5562363
You'd be surprised what people will want or do with it. Already know a friend that's currently working on kitbashing one.
>tfw we will never get more GN-X series kits
>>5562394
Hey man, just be glad the GN-X got a MG. There are so many great grunt suits out there that will never get that luxury (like my darling Grimoire).
>>5562359
Just a color change to some parts.
No seriously that's it.
I love my 1/100 Tieren, it feels like a tank. I'm not really into the shows or anything, can anybody recommend some more chunky military type kits?
>>5562415
Give the Origin Guntank a shot. Should be right up your alley.
>>5562415
There is the Loto twin set, smaller than normal Mobilesuits but fairly chunky.
Do you use any chisel? If so which brand/model would you recommend?
>>5562459
...what for?
>>5562462
Work on gunpla or plaplate. What else?
>>5562459
I use X-acto's chisel blades. Fits those design knife handles.
>>5562462
urethral insertion
>>5562482
Which brand? I see Hasegawa makes a lot of those, but I read they are really really thin.
>>5562484
>X-acto's chisel blades
You goofin around?
Anyway. You don't really need any particular brand if you're just working with stryene. Cheap brandless ones in your local hardware/art supplies shop will do. Importing Hasegawa stuff from japan is overkill. X-acto is kinda overkill too but their stuff hold their edges better.
>>5562459
I've been looking for something decently cheap as well, to remove weld marks from those hard to reach places
Would /toy/ rate my latest work?
>>5562495
I'm not much better than you in terms of skill, which allows me to point out the flaws.
>Seem lines from where parts fit together
>Over sanding in some areas ie power pipes around waist
>not filling in certain areas ie power pipes have odd hole things front and center
>no panel line work
These will most likely be pointed out, its also why I never post anything here until I myself least learn seem welding without melting the damn thing
I never bought any suit from the IBO line other than Barbatos and now I am considering on getting one or two. Which should I get? No I don't like the Grazes
>>5562542
Get a graze
>>5562542
Okay, first of all, get the frog twins (Man Rodi and Gusion) cause they're fucking great. If you do, also get the weapon set with the long axes and cleaver, Gusion looks good with em. Get Gusion Rebake because it looks amazing and also four arms. Get Kimaris Trooper, it is also amazing. Get Grimgerde because it's a dual sworded robot knight. DO NOT fucking paint it silver like everyone and their mother. That is all.
>>5562561
>DO NOT fucking paint it silver like everyone
How about metal black?
>>5562563
Eh. I guess. It's a little step up. I mean, I can't tell you what to do really. But everyone just goes straight to "let's make a traditional silver knight!" with Grimgerde and it's so obvious and boring.
>>5562542
Get a Graze anon
Just finished my Graze trio, with a high mobility commander type to round off the anti air squad. looking forward to working on more sets in groups like this, it was a lot of fun. im deciding if i want to paint them when i get back to my house for spring break, and if i do then i might paint them in black tri star colors. any thoughts?
>>5562575
Heres them together
>>5562591
its mikas 300 MM rifle that is in option set 1
Can anybody recommend me an airbrush for a beginner?
>>5562575
Mind telling where those long missile racks came from?
>>5562631
ordered 2 of the ibo option set 2, theres 1 in each of them, used a pin vise to drill a hole in the Graze Kai shoulders, then used 1mm Mcmaster Carr screws with hex heads to hold them in place
>>5562621
RTFG
>nice paints + use if metal parts
>somewhat edgy
>giant hand throws it off
Like why would a ms have a hand thats bigger than its forearm
>>5562542
>Which should I get?
i dont know, how about the ones you like most?
i literally don't understand you people sometimes
>>5562542
hyakuri is probably the most interesting suit to come out of the show
So give it to me straight, doc...how shit are Frame Arms? I am kinda interested in a few designs, but don't recall hearing positive things about the line in passing.
>>5562713
It is interesting, I'll give you that, but the kit looks rather shit. A spindly little body dangling off a huge jetpack thing that cannot even support itself without a stand. I'm not a big fan of stands so that was an immediate turnoff for me.
>person selling kit custom painted with silver
>literally stopped on gundam marker without any cleaning up
Every damn time.
>>5562747
>If I painted it that makes it a pro paint job
>>5562781
>painted only some parts
>seam lines
lol
>>5562732
The architect that comes with will require a fair bit of work
Also it doesnt have polycaps
type 48 is best gril
For my second MG, it was a bitch to sand down every individual nub and such, but looking at the completed thing. She's a beaut. Hand-Painting might fuck it up though.
>>5562805
That's actually the exact one I was thinking about buying. Care to give me some firsthand thoughts on it?
So I just built my first RE/100 and I think I'm in love. I've never been a painting or clear parts kinda guy, so all the elaborate detail of the inner frames seemed wasted on me. I dig this...a cheap, frameless, 1/100 kit with good color separation and a surprising amount of undergated parts. It's like the perfect line for me. Perhaps my sole gripe is that I wish they came with more hands...like at least one open palmed pair. But that's just a little thing, everything else is so perfect.
How often does Kotobukiya reissue kits? I'm finally wanting to take the plunge and try out HMMs, but everything I want is long sold out.
>>5562950
You will be waiting between now and never. And that's not a joke. there are a ton of kits they never reissue.
>>5562957
Well...fuck. I want some of the iconic ones basically. Blade and Shield Liger (both Bang Vers). Iron Kong. Cannon Tortoise. Original Geno Breaker. Does their iconic-ness bode well for a reissue, or nah? Should I just bite the bullet and overpay for aftermarket? Or go with the bootlegs where applicable?
Found this dude at the hobby shop. I am excite.
>>5562733
>cannot even support itself without a stand
But that's wrong
>>5563120
>>5563120
has anybody modded one of these into a LEV yet
>>5563130
It's still supporting itself without a stand tho, so it counts.
Hell, it does it better than 1/144 Flags.
I think this is about it for the cockpit detail. Its not 100% accurate and more cramped than in the show but I'm happy with it. I added some hydraulic support in front of the neck area as well.
>>5563329
Pretty cool, mate.
>>5563329
Good work, dude. Looks great.
>>5563251
Looks pretty good, but I think those shoulders look even better on the Graze. I'm giving the Form 6 shoulders to the Grimgerde, and the Grimgerde's shoulders to Kimaris Trooper. I still don't have a graze though.
>>5562575
Really digging Mr. Missiles, though the screws look a bit out of place on the plastic model. Overall, good work.
Built my first Gunpla. It's not as amazing as some of what you all post, but it's mine. Noticed a ton of room inside the main piece so I was able to fit an LED inside for the eye. Couldn't stand that the helmet bit covered it up so much it just looked like a black space.
HY-GOGG is a HG, so I put this together to prepare to build an Astray Red Frame MG that was given to me. I had a blast and definitely know which hobby my next paycheck is going toward!
>>5563787
you've got two left arms
I think i lost the space type mobile worker. The guns are on the spures, but i cant find the rest
>>5563824
okay
>>5563822
How so? They each have the thumbs on the inside.
>>5563852
never mind, it was a trick of perspective. i thought the arm segments only had a lump on one side.
>>5560827
Too bad B-Club is kill
rip
>>5563864
Ahhh, Thanks for the lookout though!
>>5562459
I've heard some good stuff about BMC chisels, quality materials and build and all, but they have a price to match 1700-3100 yen for just the one chisel. They'd give nicer results than a tamiya scriber or something similar for example since the width is kept uniform.
>>5562462
Scribing panel lines, detailing, whatever the fuck you want to do that involves removing plastic
Mandy order came today. Told you guys it'd be super interesting and cool!
>>5563787
You might want to hold off on the MG until you've practiced a bit more, if you're just starting you'll need to consider panel lining, seam welding, topcoating, getting good at nub filing, etc.
Hooray, success! I love it when things work out.
>>5564151
Obligatory headshot.
Also want to color up a GP Base. Should I go pure white, personal ace colors, something else?
>>5564118
WTF, lol. Stupid shitty tiny thumbnails.
>>5564156
Fuck, failure!
... um what was the procedure for a Purple Power soak in an ultrasonic cleaner, again?
>>5564118
that's one of my favorite SDs. nice pick up!
>>5564162
Eh that's fine, give it some character. It looks pretty tacky when it's all neat, especially in the pink.
>>5564184
Candy coated Alclad Chrome. I should probably use enamel as an undercoat next time instead of acrylic though.
Should I paint the yellow on MG Zeta 2.0 gold?
>>5564187
Been wanting to get it for forever, but cant find anything else to ship with it. Then I found Zegapain, so why not.
>>5564195
you kind of missed the point of alclad. you need enamel gloss black base for the shine since the alclad sinks deep in to the layer underneath, it just looks like any dull metallic silver if you spray it on acrylic, yours looks like sharpie, not a candy coat.
>>5564205
do you have command yet? he's another one of my favorites, I would def recommend him.
Just finished snap-building the MG Jegan.
Man, this kit is cool. The articulation is great!
>>5564330
Looks great. I only did a little painting on mine as you can see.
Too bad they had to release all those P-bandai variants. At least we have a MG jegan now.
Long time no post. Finished a super long review of this guy last week.

I have no good options for buying paint outside of these, and I know nothing about paint. Are these in any way suitable for hand painting?
Sorry for the shit picture, I was in a hurry.
>>5564404
>Dendrobium Ver. Masking Tape
why not actually glue together and finish the build before making the 'final' review and photoshoot?
>>5564454
Because you can't really disassemble a glued kit for paint and detailing.
>>5564454
Because he does really nice full paintjobs and by the look of it that's going to be a bitch and a half to paint. Plus it shows people the colors out of the box and he usually does a followup once it's painted.
>>5564469
How long did it take for you to assemble that monstrosity for the photo?
>>5564593

>>5564600

I like what was done to the feet. Maybe a bit more bulk and it'll look fantastic
>>5564602
>those hands in the helmet
>>5564607
I am "appropriating" that idea for the feet. It looks really easy to do
>>5564633
I'm thinking of filling up about 1/3 of the high heel gap and adding some pla plate to the sides
Now I can finally get a graze
>>5564638
Actually, on second thoughts...
This morning I got an offer from the Editor of a major modelling magazine to write about Mecha kits as they get into the subject. I'm pretty excited boys.
>>5564133
Not that anon, but why would you seamline if you don't plan to paint? Doesn't that make an horrible mess?
>>5564717
Don't fuck it up!
>>5564118
>>5564187
>>5564296
Ayy some SD love.
Anyone else hype for the 400th Legend BB, the Knight Superior Dragon?
>>5564717
You have to write the article or are you being interviewed?
>>5564823
That's totally how I feel; it's obviously a new area for them so I'm trying to figure out what the best way to introduce it is. They also want to appeal to typical gunpla buyers and show them that there is more than just snapping. At the same time, many traditional model guys already think of the Gunpla crowd as not to be taken seriously, so there's some desire to show more advanced stuff. Somewhat split goals there.
>>5564833
I get to take pictures of the build process and write articles, that kind of thing. I'm in grad school currently so I'm not really interested in full time. The editor said they want to get into mecha because they know it's popular, but they don't have a lot of familiarity with it. They gave me the offer based on the email I sent them.
>>5564483
>How long did it take for you to assemble that monstrosity for the photo?
About a month and a half, working a couple hours Sunday through Thursday. With some weeks/days off here and there for other things.
>>5564824
Can't wait, personally
>>5564111
Thanks!
How big is the hg Graze Ein gonna be?
>>5564448
Fellow anon from huehue land, be advised: you will need to thin that a lot to make it look good.
>>5564824
Shit, I want that Unicorn Knight...
>>5564877
15 cm tall according to Amiami and such. The perspective in the last episode was kinda funky and made it look HUGE, but it's actually not that much taller than the other MS.
What do you think of this color scheme? any suggestions? I'm thinking of doing it as a sprimg break project
>>5564877
It's supposed to be like Nu gundam sized.
>>5564938
looks pretty good, I like it
>>5564890
Well, shit. At least I can thin it with water, I guess?
Also, what kind of paint should I be seeking around here? As in, any specific brands from hueland?
>>5564824
ohfosho
So there was never a Hydra Gundam 1/100 was there? Can only find 1/144, which makes me sad.
>>5564970
All of the G-Unit/Last Outpost kits were 1/144 and they're old as balls.
If you're a big fan of the manga though, they made Robot Damashii figures of Geminass 01 and 02. 02 was a webshop exclusive.
>>5564938
change the fork to spoon
All ive seen about the graze ein is "This killed my waifu, im gonna take it apart piece by piece!"
What mobile suits did it destroy?? I wanna make a diorama of it killing those girls the waifufags are crying about
Do you guys ever panel-line anything when it's still on the runner? I'm curious to see if I'm alone in this practice.
>>5565005
Nah, I find it difficult due to how restricted you are by being stuck to a big plate
>>5564996
The Ryusei-Go and the two upgraded Hyrukens or whatever they're called. I don't believe they have kits yet.
You could make a REALLY baller looking diorama using the Ryusei Go though as you could have it pre-pared to pile driver the head.
>>5564996
There are no kits of their current MS yet.
>>5565024
Either that or have a knife on the other skirt and just not have the fork, maybe give it a spear idk nigga

Tired asking in the /m/ gunpla thread but got no replies, but regarding anyone who has built the Buster Gundam MG before, would brown or orange panel lines be better on the tan areas?
>>5565047
Ah, well ive got a bunch of lil people, probably gonna paint them in turbine normal suit colors
>>5565053
I plan to eventually, is it complicated to build? I'm pretty new to MGs.
>>5565064
I'd go with brown personally.
>>5563251
where can i find those shoulders?
>>5565218
Ryusei-go i think
>>5564193
Even so, I left the tape on too long and that has made a mess of the shoulder guards after ink lining, so I would like to hit the reset button on those two pieces.
Oh neat, Grimgerde went to 15 bucks with free shipping, time to order me summdat sexy suit
HERE'S HOPING IT DOESN'T GET RIPPED TO SHREDS IN THE FINALE
>>5564839
When I run my Gunpla panel at the local cons I always highlight how the snap-together assembly and moving parts actually make them more difficult to fully paint than traditional kits, vis-a-vis ask the peg-hole and friction points of contact, but also praise a lot of the engineering advances, though mainly that's in the realm of system injection and now "side molding" or whatever it's called. Also don't forget that this is all still niche; look to your left, now to your right, we may build a different style of vehicle but we are all still scale model hobby enthusiasts.

>A Char losing to a Garma
Not likely.
>>5565380
Dude, he's in opposition to our main characters, and it's the last episode (potentially of the entire series) if he doesn't die I'd be fucking astonished.
>>5565394
How many people show up to those panels?
>>5563138
What's that from?
I feel like I should know as it's familiar but google and Tineye are both failing me, as is my own memory.
>>5565455
ZoE
>>5565465
God I'm fucking retarded.
I've played both games a couple of times (though not for years) and watched (or rather endured) ZoE: Delores a couple of months back.
Cheers for jogging my memory.
>>5564822
Not that non' either but you can do seam welding with just plastic cement and it'll end up looking okay, better than having a seam at least, but you're right if you're going to go to the effort of welding and junk you may as well paint desu
>>5564938
It'd look nice with a few extra bits of white detail, the guision has a bunch of lines and segments that aren't shown in this line art, but those flat triangle bits on the shoulders, for example, would make it pop a bit more i think, and the back is hella dull without any effort put into it. I think a few shades light blue for the main body colour would also work well but that's just my preference and would probably make it look much less like a military machine
>KOS-MOS Ver.1 on sale at HLJ
So what are the pros/cons of her? I know that the weapons will need paint like most Koto kits, but beyond that how well does it hold up?
>>5565483
Only works for white and grey. Dom Tropen brown kinda, but it still leaves a very noticeable sand mark.
You can do the 600 - 800 - 1000 - 1200 - 3000 grit route then flat coat, but might as well paint it.
>>5565504
Shit face
>>5565504
There's a reason it's on sale.
How's the rx 78 2 mg ver 3.0? Is 3000 yen a good deal?
>>5565380
Just so you know the ankles don't have a polycap in the joint, so posing the feet is a bit of a pain compared to the Graze. Same issue with the side skirts. The head also has a much more limited range of articulation thanks to its design and the collar. It's a bit disappointing, especially compared to the Graze, but otherwise it's a nice kit.
>>5565504
can't sit down for a cup of tea
>>5565527
As a kit, it's great, comes with tons of stuff and has a slot for an LED in the head and holds every expectation of a modern MG, one of my favorites.
3000 yen is a good deal on it for sure.
Aesthetics are a matter of opinion but if you want something more anime accurate there are obviously much better kits than the 3.0 for the RX78
>>5564600
Is that shield scratchbuilt or from a kit?
>>5565749
Looks like two shields glued together + custom cutouts and shit
>>5565766
Yeah the skull part must definitely be scratch built, but the shield itself looks really familiar but I can't figure out why. Ah well, thanks.
>>5565772
The skull is from that koto scythe set IIRC.
>>5565772
It kind of reminds me of the GP01's shield in extended form but it's definitely not it.
>>5565418
Actually quite a lot at the two large shows. But as I've been running it for pretty much five years now, I'm retiring it after the fall con if it's accepted on the schedule.
>>5565808
It does look a lot like the hardyguns shield
I want a shiny gold gundam, does anyone know if the MG Hyper Mode God Gundam is good? It doesn't have discolored nubs does it?
>>5563130
holy kek anon
Anybody have this kit? Any words to share about it?
>>5565942
It's pretty good, mine was kind of flimsy and I couldn't get the joints to go together inside of the joint cover things, but that's probably just me. That's the Next Generation one, right?
>>5564959
You can use water on Acrilex, still difficult to pull a nice coat though. I heard that if you use distilled water it is easier, but never tried it myself.
You can try Mercado Livre for paints, it is more expensive but at the least it is already in huehue soil.

Kinda amazed nobody else has recognized it yet...that's just the RE/100 GP-04 shield with the surface detail on the white parts puttied in.
>>5560332
What Qubeley is that? It looks interesting.
>>5566044
what a fucking nerd
>>5565892
God Gundam wasn't designed to be plated, it'll have horrible nubs
Get a hyaku shiki 2.0, undergated and not such a shit gold, pretty sure its on sale at HLJ
>>5566071
