Which toys bring nostalgia to you?

we already have a 80/90's thread...so 2000's general?

TF Cybertron was my first TF series and collection focus. I was 20 at the time. also it blew my mind when I found out one of the Bayformer redecos could still combine with Optimus. I dont have them anymore
>>
>>5555251
Wait, Cybertron molds got redecoed into Bayformers?

My
God

A few,to fill out space in the movies. And the Real Gear Robots line was actually meant to be a Cybertron subline.

It used to be RAH GI Joe.

But what really gets my nostalgia boner going is 21st Century Toys stuff and Gundam MSIA, because both started around 1999 to 2000 when I was becoming a teenager and could appreciate them more for what they were. And Gundam was starting to show up on Toonami in 2000, and then later on Adult Swim would show the UC stuff like Stardust Memory, War in the Pocket etc.

I still have a ton of 21C Ultimate Soldier and America's Finest figures and accessories, and I still have my very first Gundam MSIA (The NT-1 Alex Gundam).

I should add that I have way more than just that MSIA, but I still have it.

Here's an old photo of my MSIA stuff. I forgot to take a new photo while I was home for Spring Break of a lot of things I've gotten in the last year.

Anything with starwars figures. I fucking loved star wars as a kid.

Megaman collection, forgot who made them.
It was in the 2000s though.

yea yea, but a guy made of lava is pretty cool. its bare bones and comes with sticky stickers but it warms my heart owning a toy with decent articulation.

Did anyone ever make anything other than swords with these things?
>>
>>5558900
They looks delicious.

Joes basically, I had other brands of toys too ofc, like transformers, TMNT, Masters of the universe (when I was like 6), but Joes were my main brand.

They stopped comercialicing them in my country like 20 years ago, Two or three years ago decided to start colecting them, some because they are new versions of figures I had (like Croc Master) others because are figures that always wanted as a kid but never could get like Beachhead or B.A.T
>>
>>5558983
Is that picture yours? Did you make the building yourself?
>>
>>5558991
Yes
>>
>>5558296
>>5558973
Oh shit, I remember my elementary school having these. We always made guns outta them until the teachers banned us from doing that.
>>
>>5558933
Where'd you pick this up at? I can only find most of these kits from Britbong sellers on ebay/amazon.
>>
>>5558933
What line was this? Beside the legos i didn't' know any of them had joints like that.
>>
>>5559008
Nice.
>>
>>5559075
Not that anon, but those are the "Omni-Kits".

I just looked up reviews of the Heatblast and I'm really tempted to pick one up. It's the closest thing we've got to decently articulated 1/12 scale Ben 10 figures.

That Heatblast has
>side to side and looking up head motion
>universal shoulders and hips
>elbows and knees
>swivels(?) in ankles and wrists

The universal shoulders/hips already puts it miles above any other Ben 10 figures I can think of, articulation wise.

I got Feedback, but not Heatblast. I dont know what happened to the rest of the toys like Max's Plumbing truck. they just disappeared off the face of the toy departments

Wait a minute I thought Road Wars were slightly bigger cars that came with a little driver dude? And there was a giant-ass destroyed Statue of Liberty playset.
>>
Trying to remember a non-transformers combiner I had in the 90s. It was 5 parts, mostly blue and grey maybe. I got the pieces at either KB or Big lots. The individual parts were vague futuristic modes.

the first ones were bigger, plastic and had the dude and a spring-loaded launcher of some sort.

Later ones were diecast (like matchbox) and had ports for all these plug-in rubbery weapons and no dude.

It's the best out of all the large items.

I have the Zakrello and a second Gunperry now too.

The only big items I have left to get are the Psycho Gundam, the Elmeth, and the GP03.
