Those of you just joining us, please read this guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.

For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

get the PS2 colors version if you can find it, the pastel colors are a little funny but it makes it stand out.

the Anime Colors OYW looks better in pictures but up close you realize the colors are pretty off, the inner frame is a green-grey while the weapons and backpack are in that ugly lightgrey-purple that Bandai should never use again Also the yellow and red are more of an orange hue; altogether i dont see how its close to "Anime Colors" at all.

best colors are G-3 but everyone knows that already.
>>
>>5542137
>ugly lightgrey-purple

That color mix is as they say, absolutely disgusting.

Covered all that on the revive mk ii with german grey.

>>

how are you liking the holder so far?
>>
>>5542735
Will heavily trigger my autism to the max using that thing with some of the hmm kits though. Quite a few runners coming in pairs or even quads, Using the same letter more then once but with numbers stuck on the end, yes the autism would be triggered.
>>
>>5542604
Yeah. It's really small and sad.
>>
>>5542925
The rails feel too shallow so it's easy to cause a domino effect because they aren't fasten good enough. and it certainly feels Chinese in the sense that there are 16 groves and 15 letters. That comes in handy with doubles but only once, might work the best with just the pieces needed for that section rather than all of the runners in the box at the same time.

Posted this last thread but didnt get help

I went to go use my iwata neo airbrush, and when i pressed the trigger, alot of air was coming out, even after i let go off the trigger. Nothing was coming out untill i removed the front cap. I took it apart, cleaned it and it still does the same thing.
Is it broken or do i need to clean it out better?
>>
>>5545521
The Neo is dual action right? Did you pull back on the trigger while pushing down?
>>
>>5545531
Yea, i have the dual action gravity feed, for it you need to pull down and back for paints or liquids to come out
>>
>>5545521
Lube the needle? Sounds like it's not moving smoothly. Possible some dry paint in the body.
>>
>>5545552
Just getting the stupid question out of the way. Is the needle loose? Check to make sure it's fixed tight. If it's loose it won't pull back and let paint flow when you pull back on the trigger.

Other than that it may just be clogged which a deep clean should fix.

I hope it's not especially harsh cleaner or you removed the O-rings first.
>>
>>5545636
Its a water/alcohol/tea-tree oil mix that i use for cleaning/removing paint, not too harsh since i use the same mix to clean panel lines. But sorry if this sounds stupid, but what does the O-ring look like? Ive seen it mentioned alot
>>
Anyone here own one of these guys? Thoughts?
I'm tempted.
>>
>>5545647
It's a tiny rubber ring. Cheaper airbrushes often use them as sealers. More expensive airbrushes don't typically need them due to higher quality manufacturing.

The Neo, despite being technically an Iwata brush, is the Chinese factories own design and is Iwata's budget option airbrush, which gives you the benefit of Iwata's warranty and making parts easier to find if anything breaks.
>>
>>5545686
Oh cool. It never had any rubber rings when i first got it. Im guessing that those would be by the tip inside?

You're gonna want to still use thinner, even when handpainting. With handpainting, you want multiple thin coats to mask brush strokes, and thick paint doesn't do that.

Dunno if this is the right thread to ask but. Recently obtained a Kotobukiya medabots kit. One of the sheets was slightly melted and major component was rendered unusable. the reason its not working is because youre using cement

You need something to bind the metal to the plastic. People usually use superglue but epoxy resin works better. THEN you cement the outer plastic bits together

How hard is it to get replacement parts for PG kits? Thinking of grabbing this incomplete PG Strike Freedom, but it's missing the weapons (which I don't mind, the display will be more focused on the dragoons anyway) and the head (and maybe some other parts on the upper chest).

ITS TOTALLY NOT A GUNDAM
no really, that's the issue, when the SRW divine wars was airing, the Huckebeins got completely erased from existence due to the above, as they regarded the hucky was too gundamlike to appear in any other show that wasn't gundam

keep in mind by that time, kotobukiya had released all the huckebein kits: the original (and first SRW plamo), the Mk II, the Mk III, the Boxer monster and the trombe recolors. Well, they even forced kotobukiya to erase from their records that they ever made those models
>>
>>5548948
Well that explains why the HGs are going for hundreds of dollars. And I thought it was just nips being scalpers.
>>
>>5548959
yeah, they are pretty much rare kits, since they will never be reprinted, EVER
in mandarake they go from 3,500 to 6,000, all the 3 huckies, being the Mk III and the original the most expensive ones
the Boxer is 15,000 yen
>>
>>5548962
How often do they show up on madarake?
>>
>>5548964
supposedly, they update the site on a daily basis, but to know when new hucky kits arrive? can't say, just keep looking for ヒュッケバ in the browser, its huckebein in moon runes

So something just occurred to me, I was initially pissed that the only way to get the 1/100 mace for the barbatos is through the 6th form kit. But the more that I think about the more I realized I could just use the parts to display the frame by itself and just swap parts if I wanted the final form with my original kit and have some spare parts.

Am I falling for bandai's ruse cruise hard at this point, or is this actually a good thing. I'm a little conflicted right now.
