Hot Wheels will usually put up pictures of the cars on their website long after they are out. I use hotwheelscollectors.com to get some decent looking images like a month in advanced, and a Brazilian website t-hunted.blogspot.com since they cover images pretty well but it's all in Portuguese.

The 66 Batmobile is going to be the Super Treasure Hunt of the J case, which got an early release in Asia. I think there's going to be various releases of Batman vehicles in a 1:50 scale, and the Ecto-1 from the first Ghostbusters is part of the much nicer Pop Culture series.

If you are psychotically compelled to inventory your cars, there are a couple of sites I ran across over the weekend...

This is a list of pretty much every Hot Wheels car ever made: http://www.southtexasdiecast.com/casting-overview/

Pick a car and it links to a site called hobbydb that shows every variation of that car that has been logged by users on the site. If it's not there you can add it. Members can log collections and buy and sell stuff. You can search for JL and Matchbox cars on there as well.

They're still around. The sporty cars just sell out FAST. Actually, does Matchbox distribution suck for anyone else? Around here, Target got rid of single packs, and Wal-Mart is full of empty pegs. Toys R Us seems to be getting new stuff in regularly, but seems to sell out fast as hell probably because of the aforementioned shortages at Wal-Mart and Target. The only other decent place for Matchbox around here is a local drug store chain but they're mostly older cars.

These are the "premium" batman range, they're 1/50 scale.

Bigger than a normal hotwheels...well not sure about the 80's one, there is a premium one in the same box as >>5541194

I have the set on pre-order via amiami because local stores supplies are fucked, who PUNCHES them on the pegs?

It sure ain't kids that's for sure.

But pretty much all regular line hotwheels are scaled to work on their tracks, its like the tomica sets, differing scales but generally the same size as a result.

So unless you can elaborate if that 80's batmobile is from the premium is standard line I'm only speculating

I was just SUPER lucky that day, I bought a super for $10 off ebay for shits and giggles thinking I'd never find a decent one and not only did I find a decent one, its also a car I liked to begin with.

Now when I walk past hotwheels sections I go full blown autism, I found that thing in a super market, in a friggin hotwheels retail box (as in retail space box not a fresh case), just tossed in there.

If a store that only has enough space for 25 cars can have a super imagine a department store with 20 pegs for 5 cars each, drives you made even though its pretty much the lottery

Anyone know where to find Micro Machines and knockoff variants? Even if it's not for purchase, I wouldn't mind taking a look at some of the older cars/playsets.

I distinctly remember seeing my little cousin with a town playset and a bunch of first responders and construction vehicles, and the dump truck even had little plastic balls for dirt. Not sure of the brand though.

First damage was the windshield was bent because I accidentally stepped on it after dropping it, the rest was done with a pair of pliers and a knife to tear off the windows, then some black sharpie rubbed on and off to add "dirt" to it , they are two distinct cars fyi, the chrome one is one deco and the blue is another I bought to replace the now "totaled" chrome one.
