The worst thing about Age of Ultron was that it denied us a quality Ultron design. Instead we got that shitty anorexic Megatron knockoff.
Will we ever see a proper Ultron of good quality, /toy/?

>Instead we got that shitty anorexic Megatron knockoff.
Have you seen the Revoltech version?
>>5487367
not OP but i prefer the head-horns/jack-o-lantern face sculpt over the "realistic version" head, but even then i could never settle.
>Will we ever see a proper Ultron of good quality, /toy/?
That's generally regarded as the Marvel Select version.
>>5487367
The revoltech of the movie? The one that looks nothing like what Ultron actually looks like?
>>5487555
Well it's not anorexic at least, you big whiny crybaby.
>>5487351
>That shitty anorexic Megatron knockoff
Wasn't this discussion already going on in the Deadpool thread?
At least with this I understand where you're coming from since the original Ultron has very few good toy renditions, but really, don't discount the movie design's toys as objectively shit just because you don't like the design.
>>5487351
It's done!!
>>5487635
In the Deadpool thread it makes no sense because the movie costume is the same fucking thing. The only thing that ever changes with his costume is where some of the black patches are or whether his mask has that saggy bit at the top.
>>5487703
Proportions do change, though. A stylized drawn physique is more pleasant than a realistic one. At least that's my reason.
>>5487710
>stylized drawn physique
Which one, the really buff one or the one that looks like slightly thicker Spider-Man?
>>5487735
The Tony Moore art they used to promote the figma would be ideal
>>5487399
Pretty much this. The only thing I can really harp on it over is the lack of wrist hinges and the older style sphere hips. But fuck, it's a robot, sphere hips might even make sense.
>>5487351
I guess a lot of it depends on what you consider a "quality" ultron figure.
Pic related.
>>5487351
Marvel select ultron is pretty goat
>>5487351
Really, the only good thing about the movie was Ultron's design.
I have no idea why you people expected a muscular metalman from the same series that turned the iron man suit from literal power rangers thighs and a tiara into an actual exo-skeleton.
Metal just doesn't bend like that.
>>5490726
Iron Man's armor had long since stopped being like that in the comics by the time of the movie. In fact one the comic artist who redesigned the armor for the comics did the first few movie designs, too.
>>5490746
Even then, the MCU is clearly not going for comics style; movie Ultron wasn't going to be of bendy metal.
>>5490601
>select ultron
Yeah, a pretty goat ass...
>>5490792
I personally didn't mind movie Ultron except for his stupid head with stupid eyes and stupid teeth
Should have been a more traditional head
>>5491034
The worst part is they had the perfect Ultron design... With the drones. Ultron Prime should have just been the Ultron with the red light, and all the blue light ones were the drones.
>>5491176
pretty much this. gutted we missed out on getting a proper ultron look.
>>5487351
I want a serious "Build a Ultron" line. Not Hero Smashers or a BAF. Rather packs of
x1 torso
x2 heads
x3 legs
x2 forearm weapon replacements (blade or gun)
x2 shoulder armor
x2 pipping
It's completely in Ultron's theme to scavenge parts. Iron Man or Sentinel. Maybe even make Doom-Bots.
A person could make a squad of custom baddies to go against any team.
Whattaya think?
>>5491176
>>5491034
Andy Park did some really neat Ultron concepts for the movie too.
>>5491034
Having the same exact face the whole movie would be entirely too boring for an audience to either get invested in or focus on without laughing at it or making it a meme.
>>5495667
>>5487351
Shit cahracter rip off the Transformer movies
>>5490726
>colossus
>>5495667
that looks like the one from the first teaser. god its like the green goblin all over again
>>5487388
What the fuck is going on on the right over there?
>>5496427
But it's just Colossus.
>>5487640
Every time I saw that guy on the shelf, I couldn't stop seeing him as robot Voldemort.
>>5495628
I'd buy the fuck out of it. Love robot mooks.
>>5496427
A) That's Fox, not MCU.
B) His metal is easily handwaved since it's his mutation.
C) is for Colossus. Capitalize his name, capitalist pig.
>>5490726
It's not really the body (though it's a bit overly buff). The head is where most of the complaints lie.
