It doesn't have hands to grip the Dramon Killers or the metal speedo. Loose joints are common. Sculpt is a bit soft IMO.
It was reissued last year, and it's retail price is from before figure prices started jumping. The SHF comes out in a few months.

Of all the Digimon figures I own, Alphamon is my favourite.
How are the GEM line? They're expensive but looks good anyone own those? Want to start a digimon collection. I think they're coming out with figuarts for the Tri series but only Matt and tai are shown.

I'm satisfied with Omnimon so I skipped the the version but Our War Game Wargreymon is so much better than the the original figure.

I have that D-Real Blitzmon/Beetlemon (Pretty sure it's the American release, but I don't know since I bought mine loose from ebay) and it's really cool. Articulation is a bit mediocre but damn if he doesn't look cool just standing still anyway. Favorite Digimon, hands down.
Also, I was about to post "you knoe?" and this picture of Emperorgreymon/Kaisergreymon, but then I learned that he already has a toy from years ago. I would like to see an SHF of him though, that's one good-ass design.

Technically, yeah. I watched a VHS of Adventure and a few episodes of Adventure on TV (and the first 2-3 episodes of Adventure 02) before I ever saw Frontier, but Frontier was the first I saw start to finish. I honestly think it has the best transformation sequences in the franchise, and designs like Beetlemon, Metalkabuterimon, and Emperorgreymon being among my very favorites also help that. I think Adventure's the better series, but Frontier is still among my favorites.

They seem really reluctant to step away from humanoid main character Digimon and their recolors. The only exception so far is MetalGarurumon, and that's a pretty understandable concession. I'd love a Kabuterimon family or Leomon or something more than anything but they obviously have a type that they're after.
Kind of shocked they still haven't gone in for Susanoomon yet, especially not until after Alphamon.

Leomon would be easy money. He's still very humanoid, only trouble might be in sculpting the hair the allow head movement.
For accessories all need is his sword, a First of the Beast King effect, a couple posing hands and maybe a shouting face.

This is absolutely true. Omnimon is the only reason I'm reluctant on grabbing D-Arts WarGreymon.
From what I can tell, OWG WarGreymon has fuller limbs. He seems bulkier overall, like a lot of the Kamen Rider renewals. This is what makes me lean towards him but I don't want him if they aren't doing a matching MetalGarurumon.

The entire sculpt is 100% new. It isn't a perfect sculpt, but it's based arond his movie appearance, and for the most part it's really good. The shoulderpads are too small and the head's a bit big, but at least the headsculpt is near perfect, unlike the D-Arts, which had an absolutely terrible head.

There is a model kit but apparently its only like 5 inches tall or some shit. The sculpt is gorgeous tho.

Just started the Blackwargreymon model kit. This thing looks like complete ass if you don't paint it yourself, hahahaha
It comes with a set of stickers for the yellow parts. I was really tempted to slap em on and see how awful they looked, but I didn't want to deal with scrubbing off sticker goo before painting.
Most the Xross Wars DX figures are jokes, but the SkullKnightmon + DeadlyAxemon set is pretty awesome. He's actually on model, and quite pose-able in both forms.
