I just picked up some fabrics the other day.
I know some people have them but is there any easy way of getting hold of blank nendoroid (or cu-poche) faces? I'm tempted to make an Animal Crossing Villager type face for Anne and have her go with my Isabelle Nendo.

The pattern was quite simple considering I didn't do the sleeves properly, but I can share it all the same. I'll draw something up shortly and amend it later when I do version two of her sweater.
The skirt was just a wide piece of ribbon though, folded to make pleats and sewn along the top to hold it in place. So no pattern there.

It is stretchy which helps but generally taking the head and an arm off is enough to put it on and off like a normal sweater.

Local fabric store. Mine is quite nice and let you do cuts as small as 10cm which is more than enough to make several clothing items out of for a cu-poche (the fabric rolls are normally at least 1.5m wide if not 2m, so 150cm x 10cm is a lot to work with).
I'd suggest using scraps from old clothes or getting smaller amounts from shops if you can. Maybe quilter's squares? they often come in cute patterns and are only small pieces so less waste.

As for the collar it's a complete cheat. It's just a tube of material sewn into a ring.

I have both, not counting the exclusive one (I don't much like the yellow apron anyway). They're actually much better than I was expecting and worth it just to have extra hands for your cu-poches, but the cute sweets extras are a great bonus. As is the perfectly sewn apron.
If you weren't interested in the apron or the extra hands though (not sure why you wouldn't be) you can get similar miniature sweets from the sylvanian families line. They're in a very similar style.

I know some people talked about this before and wanted to know if it'd work so I did a test.
I found a sylvanian families dress that worked on Anne!
It needed some modifying however, mainly making it smaller in the back by taking out some of the fabric. The neck hole and waist were far too big for her.
This dress was on a 'mother' sylvanian so maybe the 'sister' size would be a bit closer to a cu-poche but I don't have any to test with.
The other dresses my sylvanians have actually fit worse than this one so I think the style of them might play a part too (such as type of collar, gathered sleeves or t-shirt style sleeves etc). I think the neck hole in particular will always be on the big side regardless.
Sorry for rambling on but I thought some other anons might find this interesting if sewing stuff from scratch is proving to be too difficult.

Funny how Cupoche clothes are quite compatible with 1/12 scale dolls for the most part. Koto must have deliberately planned it so they have cross-line compatibility with MSG and FAG and the old-gen Shinki.

Personally I think they both have their pros and cons. I dont have a cupoche yet (I have one shipping out soon tho), but I've heard both series have really great quality.
For me personally I very rarely like how joints look, so for that reason cu-poche turns me off a bit. But I love how they look in the cat parka since it hides it.
Also sometimes there is a character that has both a cupoche and nendo, sometimes one looks better then the other. I like the Oreimo nendo more than the 5head cu-poche, but I think kuro-neko looks cuter in the cu-poche proportions

The 4 main girls from Samurai Pizza Cats: Polly Esther, Francine, Princess Vi, and Lucille. They're SD to begin with, and have jointed, mechanical designs so they'd transition almost perfectly. You know, Nagisa is younger and smaller in height compared to the other girls, So I think that to reflect this with more accuracy, the nendo is better to show this, a Nagisa cu-poche will end up being of the same size as the other girls and will looks off in a group photo

Received the Dark Magician Girl Cu-Poche recently.
I did notice more paint errors in the Cu-Poche than in any of the nendos I've had. I still love the figure and these super minor errors dont bother me at all. I did notice a small speck of blue paint somewhere it wasn't supposed to be. When I took her hand pieces off to switch them out, the blue paint had rubbed off really bad on the pegs as well. I know paint transfer happens but I really haven't had much of a problem with it so far, and especially on new figures. Ah and as well as there was bad paint transfer on the hinge part of the book.
Anyways just wanted to discuss what everyone's experience was and if they've had any similar things happen.
