It's not a high-quality model, but if you like a-10 warthogs there's a transformer toy of one. It's called powerglide and it's pretty inexpensive.

Take a look at the Ertl version. They were made a while ago, but there are still a large number of them available.
Hobby Master seems to be the only decent company making one. Most places seem to be long out of stock, though.
The 1/72 scale academy kit is pretty cheap, and well detailed for the price.
It'd make a good first model kit too
You could always track down the 2008 GI Joe Cobra Rattler.
Other than that I think you might be out of luck unless you can into building plastic models.
