Hey there toy. I'm new around here and was wondering whats the best way to buy overseas. The amiami Kirby nendoroid in particular has my attention, but according to some sites just this alone can cost 2,080¥ for SAL.
Help please.

Those sites fucking lie. It will be less than that.
Toy's usual go-to stores
AmiAmi - Good discounts, standard shipping
Hobby Link Japan - Okay discounts, better shipping options, ability to cancel orders
Toy Otaku Mode - free shipping offers? good reward system?? i dunno people like TOM
Mandarake - great for used items
For Kirby, I'd suggest AmiAmi or HLJ. EMS shipping is what you'll most likely want for tracking, insurance, and the item to arrive in a timely manner. EMS should run you anywhere from 1500 - 2000 yen. That seems high for shipping, yes, but it comes with the territory. Get used to it.

It definitely helps to combine shipping yeah. But I mean, it's healthy to hold back too.
What are you in for? Nendoroids? Figmas? Figuarts? Mafex? Model Kits? Cu-Poche?

Basically anything that's a figure I like.
I'd have to blame this Roll model kit for getting me into the game (she's cheap as hell on Amazon and looks rad.)
I've been eyeing figma and revoltech for a while though, since Ive only been exposed to walmart tier garbage they all look so beautiful.
My most coveted thing right now is a nendo Sonic though. It's too bad it's SO EXPENSIVE now.

Amazon and Ebay can be decent on certain toys, just be careful of fakes.
Also Jet has a coupon for your first purchase. I got a Figma Samus for $20 a while back.

I prefer HLJ since i can buy things in bulk with their Private Warehouse option so that i can combine shipping.

I said usual go-to stores.
Hobby Search is fine, I used to use it. I just don't hear about it really.
Also OP, I forgot to mention that Nippon Yasan is also a place. They can be expensive sometimes, but they usually have exclusives in stock that most places don't offer or sell out of quick.

Link to this Jet site?
Anyone ever bought from Game Legends?
Are they legit?

TOM won't let you cancel pre-orders, and they charge up front. In case anyone wants to know.
