What's the best Xenomorph toy?
>>5358896
The old Kenner ones.
>>5358896
Neca Queen
Revo Big Chap
>>5358896
>Best
Can you qualify that some more? What makes something the best? Do you mean the ultimate accurate representation of a Xenomorph? What Film's version of the Xenomorph do you want? Is cost no issue? Articulation? Come on, man.
>>5358955
this.
but i'd go with the Revoltech one.
>>5358907
Big Chap isn't even the best Revoltech alien, much less the best xenomorph figure.
>>5358907
Just an opinion, but I like my Mcfarlane queen more and I got both.
>>5358896
Revoltech Alien Warrior
>>5359821
Its okay to have bad taste. Just because the Neca Queen is bigger, more accurate and better articulated doesn't mean its actually better. Oh wait.
I have all three revos. the leg articulation sucks but they still look really nice
>>5359821
Eh, I loved the Mcfarlan queen when it first came out, but it's just inexcusably bad nowadays. The NECA queen is better in every possible way. I wanted a movie accurate creature, and I finally have that.
>>5360096
>The pastel blue paint on the Neca queen on the other hand, I fucking hate,
Sorry but it's accurate to the movie. The McFarlane one's an outdated, outdone Todd design.
>>5360112
Doesn't matter if it's accurate or not, she never looked light blue in the actual film due to the lighting and wet gloss.
> Outdated, outdone
What do these buzzwords even mean? The sculpt is still great and packed with details, even if it isn't movie accurate.
>>5360124
They painted the queen just like she was done in the film. Looks perfect.
>>5360154
Opinions I guess.
>>5360192
Opinions nothing, it's a fact that she was painted that way. That's what the actual creature had on it. Just because you can't see it in the film under certain lighting doesn't make it an opinion.
>>5360124
>outdated is a buzzword now
>>5360192
>facts are opinions even though there is visual evidence
>>5360204
Quit being an autist, I already said as much.
The thing I care about is how she *looked* during the film, not how the prop was painted.
>>5360225
You can like the old figure fine, but you're acting like a dumbshit regardless.
>quit being an autist
Ah the mating call of someone who can't stand when they're wrong.
>>5360229
What am I wrong about? I never made any claims as fact, just stated my opinion.
/toy/ sperging out about that was almost a given.
>>5358900
This. The Predator ones are awesome too.
Am I the only one who finds it literally impossible to put the inner jaws in the neca queen? Especially the small one.
>>5360279
My Yautja.
>>5359868
how did you make him crouch?
>No mention of best nigga NECA doge Alien
>>5360192
Looks pretty blue to me, fuckboi.
Not only is the Queen Alien animatronic painted blue, but its almost always lit as blue-tinted in the film as well.
Does anyone have the MonsterArts Warrior?
I like that design more than the Revoltech one, and was curious if there was any reason why the MonsterArts one had not been mentioned in this thread.
Were figures made of this version? It's pretty close to the original Alien suit
>>5360707
Yeah. They came out a couple weeks ago.
>>5360534
Yeah it looks *dark* blue. Seriously, though why the fuck are you still going with this?
The paint on the commercial product looks NOTHING like the paint they showed in the promo pics.
>>5360700
>I like that design more than the Revoltech one, and was curious if there was any reason why the MonsterArts one had not been mentioned in this thread.
The MA Alien and Predator figures get a lot of hate for some reason(well, the Big Chap is understandable, as it really is a little subpar), but I think they're the best non-Hot Toys figures of the two available. The articulation is amazing, and I love the sculpt. The head is a little clunky, but otherwise I'd definitely recommend it.
Coolio.
It may be painted like the prop, but she still doesn't look like she did in the film.
The misleading promo figure did a much better job of accomplishing that look.
>>5360847
>What is lighting?
>>5360868
Promo pics are usually never fully representative. The production version is close enough. Both the promo pictures and final production Neva figures are still miles ahead of the Mcfarlane. Lol
>>5360284
Mine won't go in either. I also have an issue with one of her spikes, it keeps falling off.
