the problem is TRU uses the same SKU for all of the 6" products, so some (read: most) TRUs have shelves FULL of Donkey Kong which is ugly as fuck and won't reorder until a SKU is sold out or almost sold out.
So regions that got a good mix of DK/Bowser for wave 1 cleared out in time for wave 2 with Ganondorf and the Metroid. Areas like mine in Tampa Bay - the Clearwater, St Pete, Bradenton, Brandon TRUs have nothing but DK so they never replace the fucking items and we'll probably never get any down here.
That and Amazon and TRU sell out within literal SECONDS when they post them for retail (14.99/each) online.
Literally seconds - like if my tracker goes off on my phone by the time I unlock it and open the web page they're gone.

I've got a question that probably doesn't deserve its own thread, but I recently purchased a figure on eBay that turned out to be a fake (it was packaged loose in a bag, and the paint colors were off.)
While I wouldn't normally feel so bad if the figure was alright, when I got it, some of the joints were fused by poorly applied paint and the wrist snapped.
