Brocken Jr. is looking great, aside from the glaringly awkward shoulders. It's like they used the same shoulder/bicep area from the other figures and forgot he's wearing a jacket. Nonetheless, with some clever posing, he'll be a great addition to the Justice Choujin.

I hope this is the one. It is needed for the Rain of Berlin attack and can also be used for the salute. But it's baffling that it doesn't appear in any of the recent official pictures, not even in the ones where he's doing the attack (they used that pointless open hands without joints instead).

I can't see any problem with Vader + Choked Stormtrooper.
The Clones and other Troopers I have limitations because of the Armor/Hip problems. Plus once again the Arm/Balance concerns.
Maul I'm happy with kicking in the air.

There's really no good starting point when it comes to precure, each series has its own cast, plot and are directed differently so they vary wildly in quality and tone.
I personally started with Futari Wa (the original series) and just went in order but HeartCatch is considered by many to be the "best" series but, personally, I feel like watching heartcatch and then all the others might leave you feeling like the franchise goes progressively down hill.

Yeah, that's my biggest disappoint along with no sort of thigh swivel or ankle swivel. They did such a great job with giving his knees a good range of motion too.

I definitely wouldn't go that far, but I am super glad he wasn't just another Maul. I love how mad all the people are who were expecting him to be super cool, cold, and edgy and then he turned out to be an angsty sperg. It's gonna be a lot of fun figuring out what to do with him in displays.

That's what was so good about him, he seems like a real person, he has emotions, he has depth and he has a lot of room for development. Seing him break down like he did and just go into a destructive rage was pretty powerful. He's the complete antithesis of the prequels concept of a villain He also defies previous tropes and conventions. For example, the "big reveal" that he was Han's son wasn't some grand dramatic moment at the climax of the movie, neither was the removal of his helmet. In addition he had no practical reason to wear the helmet other his own insecurity and desire to emulate Vader. As a person in the SW universe he is realistic and imperfect and that's what made his character so great.

Yeah, but it's still weird that we're getting prequel stuff in lieu of actual main characters from the new one. It'll be interesting to see who they do for the next wave of TFA stuff. I wasn't really surprised to see Finn getting skipped because Japan's gonna Japan, but it's strange not getting Rey. She's not straight up waifu bait, but she's pretty close.

Guys, please tell me your thoughts on this.
Is SHF QC just the worst, or am I just extremely unlucky? Almost every single SHF I have has pretty glaring QC issues. The worst have been the Iron Men. I have every single regular SHF Iron Man release (just Iron Man, none of the War Machines etc.). Every single one of them has pretty glaring QC defects that I can't believe left the factory in this state.
Iron Man mark 6 - Helmet face has a roughspot and slight paint missing, just above the eyes, right in the middle.
Mark 42 - The worst of them all. Right leg has a thick 1 cm long paint scrape over the thigh, exposing silver underneath. Left leg ankle joint side is bent and unconnected to the joint, and looks rough as hell. Face has a small deep hole right below the left eye that looks like a beauty mark (mole).
Mark 43 - Still unopened in box as I'm not sure I want to keep it so it may very well have more flaws - Left hip red paint is damaged, exposing silver underneath.
Mark 45 - Chest has a triangular dent in it on left side. Also still unopened in box and might unload it somehow too as my OCD can't accept this.
Then there is my injustice Batman, paint is mostly missing on the top bart of the Batman logo, it's just gunmetal gray instead of black.
Finally, my Luke's lightsaber has silver paint on the green transparent part, as well paint scraped off the lower painted part of the blade part, exposing transparent green plastic underneath.
Worst of all, they don't have any customer support for overseas customers.
I really like SHF figures, but since I'm sensitive to QC issues and they are pretty severe and common in my own experience, I'm not sure if I can keep buying them.
What has been your experience with SHF figures and defects?

Tamashii is capable of producing good figures, but everything I buy from them has something wrong with it. Sometimes it's QC, sometimes it's just the figure's design itself. Some notable examples of my issues:
I went through two Frieza figures with QC issues - one a loose leg, one bad paint apps. By the time I had gotten them shipped to me, noticed the issues, shipped them back and received a refund, the figure was no longer available for less than 150 freedom flyers.
The range of Darth Vader's arms is quite limited, and at this point in time they shouldn't be. I can't do poses of him actually holding his saber with both hands, unless I bend the arms at the elbows to a certain point. Pic for reference - can't make the arms go that far horizontally past the chest. Like an old action figure whose arms just go straight out.

While I have had some minor paint app defects on a couple figuarts, all of it was fixable. I'm not saying you should have to do that normally, and I don't: I have done touch up on like 3 figures out of roughly 120.

Nagisa and Honoka from Pretty Cure - had to draw a picture for this one. What you see in this picture is a representation, from bird's-eye view, of the pegs and holes that a figure has for the purpose of swapping face plates. On the left, something normal. On the right, what Nagisa and Honoka have. The inward pegs on the right are exaggerated to emphasize shape - they're not that far in, otherwise the face plates would not fit in at all. But that is the general shape. Who thought this was a good idea? Is it for security? Point is, it's very difficult to switch face plates.
Almost all of my figuarts have some issue with them, be it QC in sculpt or paint (if I'm so lucky, that means I might be able to get it replaced) or an inherent design flaw. I've got a number of figuarts that I am glad to have - I love Sadako and 18 in particular - but it's a disappointing line that leaves much to be desired, which is why I don't pre-order them anymore, regardless of how much I want it.

Absolutely not perfect. Probably the best Vader in the scale (model kit aside), but it could really use a height boost, and the cape really needed to be lighter. Arms could probably be a bit better as well, but I can pull off most of what I want to do.
