Never really cared for SAS, sold or boxed up the ones I got a few years ago, but I purchased Magician's Red on a whim for cheap and it turned out to be the best SAS I've owned thus far (not sure why I never bothered buying it earlier). It's genuinely a good toy. Not getting back into the line, but I finally appreciate what they can do.

Which Revoltechs? It's a non-scale line so there's a lot of variety, up to almost 3cm difference for males that are supposed to be the same size. For example the Hokuto no Ken revoltechs are manlets compared to SAS. SAS is more stable, though the part 3 figures are notoriously shrimpy.

Alternatively you can wait and see how things go on site and wait for a drop in price due to reasons(box damage and whatnot).
I was a little surprised to see WF GER get a decent drop in price even with the additional Gio head so I'm curious on WF Johnathan. Personally I'll just snatch him up quickly since I love the color way and stripe pattern.

That's a bit odd. Usually it's a snug enough fit to allow rotation for the arm and base. You should be using the longer peg end and attaching the extension piece in order to display the air tanks for The World since the default peg has trouble holding him there with it.
The smaller end is for the base but if you have issues keeping it there then you may need to devise an alternative. Or maybe you didn't push it in far enough to make a solid fit.

A Jojo game would still sell low numbers even if we did a worldwide release. These games are easy money now that Sony has greatly eased their demands for localisation and due to digital copies.
Bandai is mostly doing this to keep the brand relevant in the west en for Europe. France alone will enough copies to warrant localisation. Be thankful you're getting a game from such a niche manga at all. If this were five years, you could have sucked every dick in the universe and Bandai would have still refused.

I'm banking on Okuyasu to be next or Koichi/Echoes. Rohan is sure to be reissued.

Hey guys, I got a question about the Diavolo SAS. you know how the alternate, smiling head, is supposed to mimic the part in the manga where Diavolo gets pierced by the arrow, and his pupils are all cracked/shattered up? The SAS alternate head has indeed the pupils cracked, but it just seems to me that from far away one of the pupils looks significantly smaller than the other, which really bugs me. Wasn't there an anon about two years ago that went ahead and painted the eyes to be a solid color, similar to the normal head? does anyone have any pictures of what it looked like, or any advice?

No cape but there are good Dio's. It's the fact the bad batch had stuff like legs snapping off just by posing him or bad paint apps all around. I keep mines around just to mess around with but those legs just aren't safe to move in my eyes.
The yellow effect punches are fucking great. Hell, he can go as low as 2k at times.

Buy a cheap hairdryer. Since it's made for direct application to exposed human anatomy the heat never gets anywhere near the melting point for thermoplastics. Heatguns are nowhere near as regulated in terms of temps produced.
Eh. Ive used it plenty of times loosening Necas and other models if I need to do a quick dry. As long as I keep distance and regulate. The melting point of most plastics and vinyls used in toys between 150-250 degrees and the basic setting of my gun is 225.

I guess you may be safe since some Mandarake descriptions mean nothing for the figure condition. Japanese collectors are super anal about that stuff to the point a small dent on a box is equal to "severe" damage and 1000 yen cut off the price.

The colorway is really nice but he is pretty pricy and rare. I got mines at 8500 but given how quickly he sells out it's tough for all the current prices. Especially if all you want is the smirking head.

If money isn't too much of an issue you can wait and see if one shows up. Medicos went there when making him seeing his skin tone is much lighter and all the colors just make him stand out. Not sure where his current rate goes now and how quickly that gets bought up on Mandarake.
I do advise looking into other sites like Jungle or Terraformer as a means to hunt down rarer SAS's since I've seen stock go untouched longer. Try to setup a Figinstock notification for sold out listings but I think Mandarake has an alert system now for that on its site.
Beyond that, he's definitely something you should add to your collection.

My biggest issue with blue Joseph is that there isn't really any time at which he had that colour scheme. Would rather the blue Joseph had been a purple one.

Also wasn't blue Joseph a common color choice in certain artworks from Araki? Medicos usually chooses these colors from those.

I think it's more due to the fact that (at least for me) the clear figures are somewhat unique in their own right, whereas the crystal ones are an existing figure in an existing colourway, just with crystals. I dunno, just doesn't have the same impact.
Having said that I'll buy one for 40k or whatever the price is should I ever win one of those fucking WF lottos.

I don't see a reason for Medicos to give false numbers on what is already an extremely limited run; "Only 25 exist!" isn't that big a difference from, "Only 40 exist!" More plausible is that there actually do exist only 25 of them, and yet they keep being sold and switching hands.

Really good. His proportions and design work better as a figure than most, I feel. I guess the extra accessories are nothing special but he's one of my favourites. He's one that you can just pose however you want and he'll still look kinda cool.

I went with Silver Chariot. He's a solid figure with pretty good articulation and he comes in a few different colors which are all nice. He also rarely goes for more than 3000 on mandy which is nice, and there's plenty of him floating around.
