Just get the half scale versions, they would have improved designs and being smaller means easier to find shelf space.

Are there any bootlegs for 3a toys? I'm having a hard time googling to see if there are any. I got a 1/12 figure, and the body has a bunch of nub marks and the leg joints are pretty loose, and the head feels so fucking sticky i'm almost afraid the dude I bought it from hot glued it before shipping, but it's only the head that feels this way. I'm honestly kind of shocked by the quality, so i'm hoping it was just me getting a dud from ebay. I guess I shouldn't trust California?

The only 3a bootlegs I've ever heard of were recasts, and the people always state "this is a recast" and it's usually a color that it didnt originally come in.
As for the sticky head, if it's an old enough figure it could just be plasticizers leaking. I bought an unopened zomb from someone and the hair was glossy and sticky once I opened it.

I got a 1/12 vanilla pod from the 10 feet to lick or whatever box set. I got it off ebay, and the seller had postive feedback on them, so I thought it'd be fine, but i'm kind of worried. They said it was new but being sold loose, and it isn't from china (though, i do know that threea/threezero are stationed in china) but god damn, man.

the de plumes all look fantastic, but too far out of my price range. I guess i'm gonna return it and see if i can find another 1/12 female body. I only wanted her for a female body base, but it's really not up to snuff for what I want. I don't have the finesse yet with sewing clothes that would allow her arms to move. Damn.

California climate appears to have caused some issues with the paint on the head. The heads are vinyl vs the hard plastic used for the rest of the body, so the paint can, for lack of a more technical explanation, turn wet again in the heat and humidity.
Try putting it in a cool, dark, dry, dust-free place place for couple of days.
And yeah, Action Portable was mind-blowing back in 2011/2012 but nowadays they're pretty poor compared to other 6" lines.

I think i'm just gonna go ahead and return it. I'll stick to their 1/6 figures for now, i guess. I just wish there were more 1/12 female bodies I could get that weren't seamless rubber body shit. Maybe I can find a marvel legends that I can take a part and recast.

You can always preorder the half scale for half the cost. Thats what i am doing. Aint nobody got room for the full sized released.
