Received the Power Loader last weekend but just got around to opening it today. It's cool! Looks fantastic with Ripley inside. Managed to pick this up for 80 bucks shipped, but even at that price I do wish they'd worked in some extra stuff. Like maybe an included Newt figure that you could tell bitches to stay away from, or a working light on top of the Loader.
Also really happy with the Ripley figure, received it a while ago but I wanted to open it alongside the Loader. The likeness is really good!
Is it safe to try and take off Ripley's head? I want to take the grenade bandoleer off of her, but her head was on there really tight when I gave it a tug. Was thinking of giving it another go later after dunking her in hot water, if that'll help.

I did, great game, the sounds on it a freaking awesome, the Xeno design itself is a mix of the original big chap with new legs because the model with the original legs looked dumb when walking.
The Neca Isolation Xeno has the upper body of the big chap, hands included, which is exactly what is in the game.

I played it too. The game would have been seriously, honest to god good if the alien AI wasn't tethered to the player character the entire time. It's still totally worth playing, but that one thing killed it for me. If the thing just fucked off every now and again it would have been the perfect alien game.
On a side note, the game alien is actually my favorite design. I think the elongated metatarsal makes more sense because the creature can move on all four limbs more naturally, can run faster, jump higher, and is able to crouch lower. It fits better with the "perfect organism," in my opinion, than a normal bipedal structure.
I just picked up the 'Aliens' variant of Ripley, and a Warrior, which to my surprise was half off when the cashier rung it up. I'm super happy with the Ripley figure, but it turns out the left leg on the ayy lmao (which I couldn't spot in it's packaging) was warped to hell.
Admittedly it's the figure's only fatal flaw, but for $10, on a figure that didn't break and can somehow stand on it's own (with some assistance from it's tail), I think it was a pretty fair deal.

It's an injection fault that just occurred in 1/X units produced, not the entire batch. If I had to guess, it's probably a pressure and/or sealing issue that allowed microbubbles to gather in one spot over and over and over again until it was addressed and corrected.

Bought both the regular one and the red one at a sports card show recently. For some reason I had problems with the legs on both. The regular one had a foot that wanted to stick. I could tell that it might break, but I stupidly forced it too hard and it snapped off. While the red one had a tiny bit of warping similar to yours, but wasn't nearly as unnoticeable.

Alien 3 isn't a bad movie. It has a plot, it has tension, it managed to combine parts of the first two movies yet still took the series in a new direction.
Alien Resurrection also went in a unique direction. The characterization was good, the acting solid. There is a definite flaw in the tone of the movie, but that has a lot to do with conflict between the producers, the director, and the writer. It's still a competent movie and in retrospect not bad either.
Neither are good movies, but they are still better than Prometheus, which was a retread of the first Alien with a bit of the first Resident Evil schlock. They added in 'mystery' with no reason at all. Instead of making it look deep, Prometheus was just vapid and pretentious that did nothing for the overall mythos.
Just noticed this on Twitter; Weyland Commando from Alien 3. So far, looks like Alien Series 8 is going to be: Bald Ripley. WY Commando, and one still unknown figure. I got a feeling this is going to be Alien 3 themed. And still no Smartgun.....

Prometheus had nice shots/scenery and that's it. It's literally like watching pretty paintings in motion. Beyond that, you only watch it for Fassbender's performance really.

On a NECA note, I just got in Ult Leatherface and he is gnarly as fuck. I like the weird material the apron is made of. Not into the paint on his shoulder discs being gone straight out of the package though. Same thing happened with Aliens Ripley. Luckily there's few poses where that's going to be exposed, but still, yuck.

The whole thing with the jokes pissed me off to no end. The SECOND they go "it's a helmet!" Ugh. That's about the time the movie began its slow, painful, sink for me.

I've had to send back two Red Alien Queens this month. Both for the same friend, who has one of nicest collections. One was missing parts, the other's head was snapped off. Neca has great looking figures but lately, if only just for me, quality has been lacking. I hope this is a temporary ordeal.
