So /toy/, what is the best Dalek toy in your opinion?
I prefer the 5" CO, just because of the large range.
To be fair it's hard to get a Dalek wrong, pretty much anything made in the last 20 years look pretty good.
>>5318572
I quite like the black and gold Dalek. He has a fairly unique design and was my first Dalek so there's that as well.
Only down side is that he's remote control so isn't as posable as the others. (head swivel and eye stalk movement)
I might get some of the classic daleks by CO as I'm trying to move away from the modern figures.
A studded vibrator should work fine.
>>5318672
Highly recommend them, if you can still get a hold of them
>>5318701
I wish to have you spare sonic screwdriver aswella s to see a picture of your shelve above those daleks PWITTY PWEEEZ
>>5318722
Sure thing, here's all 3. Have 4/5 containers full of all the other figures as well (have most, if not all figures up until the last few months)
Great colection good sir. i am currently building my collection, but most of my daleks are missing plungers and guns :( a swell as i can't find an 8th doctor :( if you are ever selling i shall find you :)
Best Dalek toy.
>>5318731
He's available at Cribbs Causeway http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/pdp/product.jsp?productId=TRUP1965220001
>>5318727
I'm envious of your collection.
4th Dr Tardis, DttD 3rd Doctor, completed cyber controller and K1 robot. and is that a jacketed River Song?
I wish I also had shelves like that which I could display them nicely on.
>>5318731
Thanks a lot! No idea if I'd sell them, since I collected them for the good part of 10 years.
As far as I know there's 4 Paul McGann figures:
-the one from the 11 Doctors set,
-one in a Dalek 2-pack (very rare),
-one with the War Doctor (as an alternative head)
-the one from the 50th anniversary mini episode (in this thread)
Hope you can get one at a good price!
>>5318741
Cheers. Yep, pretty much any figure in the CO/Underground toys range I have (up to the few released this year), if not there in a box under the bed.
this here is my colection, not that big as i've only recently been digging these up from boxes at my parents and such >>5318743
only problem is i need spare dalek parts :(
>>5318746
>pretty much any figure in the CO/Underground toys range I have
I was planning that, but I forgot to buy them when they first became available.
Since then I've learnt to always buy new toys as soon as I can.
>>5318751
Some cracking figures there.
Just got to keep an eye on eBay for Dalek parts I guess, they should be fairly cheap for the new series "fat" daleks, not sure about the classics.
>>5318751
Don't care what people say about the episode, but the Slitheen figure was rad.
>>5318543
Oh, also, is there anywhere to get the "Progenitor" Daleks from cheap? Or is my best bet the marked down Asylum set?
>>5318751
You can get some spare parts from the CO website
http://www.character-online.com/search/Default.aspx?t=dalek
>>5318771
thanks dude, will probably use it to get a gun or two, but witht he rpices i'd probably be ebetter replacing the full dalek seeing as for a few i need gun, plunger and eye :P
>>5318775
TRU IIRC
>>5318543
So anons, I ended up buying the Dalek holding a Mutant and the Gold Supreme one in OP. Good picks?
>>5319786
I'm assuming 3.5"? Sure, they're nice figures. Like someone said before, you can't go wrong with a Dalek, just buy whichever you fancy.
>>5319800
Well free shipping, wanted the "Classic Dalek" more but only TRU had it and >£5 shipping for a £7 toy
>>5320522
free shipping if you spend £20. buy four daleks.
>>5320579
It was 30 quid, and I can't spend 30 quid on Daleks when I also need to get Xmas presents. Do want the asylum set and those 2 packs though.
>>5318543
They should make another mutant reveal one.
I hope they can crank out a new sonic toy sometime soon, some new-design time-lords would be great too.
>>5322024
Looking forward to my strong independent black transexual female timelord figma.
>>5318733
I think he was wrong. He doesn't make a good one after all.
>>5318672
Back the fuck up, is that a new McGann figure?
>>5322143
Yes. He comes with this head, but I prefer the one that comes with the War Doctor.
Even gets a more accurate sonic.
TRU UK exclusive. http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/pdp/product.jsp?productId=TRUP1965220001
>>5322244
Thanks, Hiro.
>>5322244
These new ones are slightly bigger than the older ones aren't they? I'm afraid they are gonna set off my scalefaggery.
>>5322393
Eh, slightly.
You could play it down to thicker soles or McGann growing taller since the movie.
>>5322244
Damn, nice, McGann is one of my favorites, so I'm gonna have to try and order this guy, unless he's coming to the states, that is
>tfw no fancy 7th/8th Doctor TARDIS interior playset
>>5322465
If you're /po/, you can build your own.
http://www.aftdownloads.co.uk/8THDOCTOR.htm
>>5318543
Special Weapons Dalek master race. I picked one up at TRU on clearance, it best /who/-related purchase I've ever made.
>>5320792
I went to TRU. Didn't have Asylum pack, got these two for a tenner. Noice.
"These books are ours!" "YES."
>>5323873
That and the Emperor Davros, two beautiful figures
>>5324261
Shame it's so expensive, and shame they've not done other emperors.
>>5324261
I deeply regret not buying that Emperor when it was still at $50. That figure looks pretty balling.
I have about 20, but they're all over the place. I'm trying to find my other photo I took but I don't know where it is.
>>5327661
Oh, here we go.
Somewhere, I have an Ironside in the background of another picture, but I can't be bothered looking for that one :P
>>5327664
I really want to stockpile an army of those silver/blue with slates.
On a related note, are there any good 5-6" Cybermen figures? I'm mostly looking for the Invasion-era models and the modern Nightmare in Silver ones.
>>5328860
Is that... Is that a CyberHorse?
>>5328999
Yeah, apparently it's from one of the Big Finish audio plays, Spare Parts.
>>5328860
Here's the Invasion Cyberman in the 5" range (one of my favourite figures), and aren't too expensive on eBay.
Unfortunately there's no modern Cyberman in the 5" range, though there is in the 3.5".
>>5328074
I've got 3 in total, and an Emperor's Guard (same model, black dome), and they're great. One of the regulars has a sound chip, which is all kinds of cool.
>>5329352
I was thinking of buying the Mechanoid set, selling on the Mechanoid and buying the Enemies of the First Doctor set which has one of them with a flamethrower which is pretty cool.
>>5328860
Get the Age of Steel 3 pack if you like all 3 designs. Moonbase, Invasion and the very original IIRC? Also there isn't a 5' NiS one yet, only 3.75.
>>5318543
Even more. Welp.
What is the best place to buy 5" Doctor Who figures in the US (online or retail)?
>>5333400
BBC Shop?
>>5329526
I got the Mechanoid pack, yeah. I love those 60s Daleks. I've got friends who make Dalek casings, and if I was even a bit craft-minded, I'd be making a legion of 60s models.
Would £40 for either the Destiny or Revelation of the Daleks packs be a good price?
And if so, do I get both?
A life size pilotable one. but its a lot of work and not for everyone
>>5335116
If I had a spare 4k, i'd buy one.
http://www.thisplanetearth.co.uk/page10.html
>>5335075
I think that's how much they were at release, so I'd say so.
Just get whichever you're interested in. I'm not as keen on Revelation, and love Destiny.
>>5318672
Great filename
>>5331551
that bronze era in blue/silver is awesome
>>5337959
It's in a TRU exclusive 2 pack with the black and silver "Timewar" Dalek painted like a 60's Saucer Captain
