It's going to sound cliche as fuck, but I adore Shockwave and Soundwave.
Their designs tickle all my bones.
Now them personality wise? I prefer the TFA version of Shockwave. He is fucking glorious in design and personality.
I prefer Prime Soundwave. Not the design really, but even though I miss his voice I thought they did the silent type well.
Speaking of cons. You know what I really want?
A legends Soundwave. I'm not a huge fan of legends, but I do have Megatron, Starscream, and now Shockwave is in the mail. It doesn't feel right not to have a Soundwave to go with them.
It's like getting figures of all the members of a band except the drummer.

Titan Wars should be coming out with some in due time. Legends Eject, Buzzsaw, and Stripes are practically guaranteed to be done as Frenzy/Rumble, Laserbeak, and Ravage.
There's also kos of the masterpiece cassettes that are supposed to be decent quality, but they only have buzzsaw, no laserbeak.
Universe Ravage (the one that came with Hound) is pretty good, too, but him and Hound go for retardedly high prices.

I get what Hasbro tried to do, but they fucked up. They didn't want kids to hate the Phones, so they gave them a third mode to increase play value, but this ended up ruining the animal modes.

Yeah, no. This is why G1 despite its flaws is hailed by many people because of the variety of alt modes. The most recent series it's always automobile and jet and almost nothing in between, we don't need yet more repetition of unoriginality. I don't care that that these alt modes don't seem spectacular, but they would be far worse if they were made cars once more.

Well, I guess I'll post the most recent Titan Wars rumors that are floating around. These come from the guys who leaked all the other stuff before it came out. Some of this stuff is no-brainer, some ridiculous -
Updated for 10/30/2015
1. Legends Laserbeak, a recolor of Combiner Wars Legends Buzzsaw.
2. Deluxe Afterburner, a recolor/remold from Unite Warriors Deluxe Groove.
3. Deluxe Lightspeed, a recolor/remold from a Combiner Wars Stunticon car limb.
4. Deluxe Nosecone, a recolor/remold of Combiner Wars Brawl (yes, with the drill from BotCon Ramhorn).
5. Deluxe Strafe, a recolor/remold of a Combiner Wars Aerialbot limb jet mold. Probably not remolded much from being a conventional Earth jet though.
6. Voyager Astrotrain, a recolor/remold of Titan Return Voyager Sentinel Prime, seen at NYCC.
Update 11-3-2015 from a Facebook post
1. The upcoming Blurr and Scourge figures are Deluxe Headmasters, just like Hardhead and Skullsmasher.
2. They have no information on an upcoming Combiner Wars Predaking.
3. The four Titanmasters that Hasbro revealed at NYCC were the only ones Transmissions knows about. This would mean other figures that were mentioned in Transmissions rumors, but not seen from Hasbro yet (Highbrow, Chromedome, Brainstorm, Mindwipe, Weirdwolf, Alpha Trion) are likely full sized figures.
4. Astrotrain is a straight recolor of Sentinel Prime with a new head.

2. Combiner Wars Technobots will have newer style hands/feet, possibly new molds or the molds used on Victorion.
3. The unrevealed first wave Titans Return Deluxes are Scourge and Blurr.
4. The unrevealed first wave Titans Return Leader is Optimus Prime. His chest will look like the chest of God Ginrai (also seen on the release of Power Master Optimus Prime with Apex Bomber in the Commemorative Series).
5. There will be a Legends Scrounge based on the Generations Legends Cosmos mold. It MIGHT have a new head.
6. For the 30th anniversary of the movie, there will be a box set of Platinum Edition Rodimus Prime vs. Galvatron, but no confirmation on what molds will be in this set.
Update 11/12/2015
1. TR Voyager Sentinel Prime/Astrotrain mold is based on the IDW Astrotrain concept art.
2. No information on whether we will be getting a space shuttle version of Blast Off.
3. TR Alpha Trion is a Voyager with a Titanmaster.
4. The CW Abominus photos going around are fakes. No word on whether HasTak is making their own CW Abominus.
5. TR Leader Optimus Prime will have a closed trailer, not the open one from Ultra Magnus. It does not have Magnus’ giant shoulders, and the missile launchers from Magnus will be replaced with Powermaster Prime style cannons. The God Ginrai style chest is not removable. The truck mode cab will be slightly modified from Magnus.

Honestly, if you feel like going for it, go for it. It's up to you. In my opinion though, he's a fun figure, but by no means a "got to have it", so that's why I just waited until I happened to see him in stores. I mean, none of the RID figures I've found are really "got to have it" anyway. I have 4 warriors, Megatronus, Steeljaw, Bumblebee and Grimlock, and the only 2 I like are Grim and Megs. And I guess I was just lucky with my Grimlock, because his elbows are in fine shape.

Get creative with how you display them. Putting them into poses/vehicle forms may indeed save space that you can then cram more figures into. Vehicle form especially, since most vehicle forms at least in my experience, seem to eat up less space.
Also, only collect figures you absolutely like. Don't buy anything "just because", and don't get like, 5 versions of the same fucking character. Stick with your idealized realizations of the characters you enjoy the most for your budget.

I don't know, man. All I've heard is that Grimlock's elbows will snap, explode, just about do anything except act like a normal elbow.Something to do with the tiny ratchet joint. I think it was something they even fixed in the gold version, but I don't know what they changed exactly. (Other than the headsculpt, of course.) But I must have been super lucky for once, because I picked one up as soon as they came out, and I have had zero problems to date.
And personally, I like the green and black deco. Something different, and with the way his dino mode looks, it almost gives off some Godzilla kind of vibe, so I like that.
Steeljaw is the only figure I have that I hate and wouldn't recommend. It's retarded the way his feet are, he's impossible to stand.
Oh, and I did get one of those Minicons, I kind of liked those things, they were a little neat.

The be more precise, the problem is the plastic of the arm itself that this little gray piece of the system presses against. The plastic in that spot is absurdly thin on the original runs of the figure. About as thin as a one of those prepaid gift cards you see in stores. You know, the ones that are made of some sort of paper/cardboard rather than plastic? That thin.
The gold armor version fixed that by roughly doubling the thickness of the plastic, so even if the joint mechanism is still shitty at least it won't stress the arm so easily.
Interestingly, I checked some of the green Grimlocks that were stocked recently, and it looks like they've been fixed, too. You can clearly see the problem area inside the package, so if you take a peek and don't see that little gray piece pressing against anything that's clearly paper-thin, you should be good.
