I don't understand the great amount of attention this series is getting. I have been reading the manga when the first volume came out, it's good but like, nothing that special I thought. I get that lots of people discovered it for the first time with the anime. I haven't seen it, but I guess the production value is really high? I guess I'm just out of sync with everyone.
I tend to stick to manga when it's the original source, saves time. I guess there was a dry spell with new anime lately?
I would like a figma though, throw him in the mix with pretty much any other figure series and you can have some fun with it. I don't need anyone else.

I like it but even if the first episode was good it wasn't the most interesting of the season. Enough that I've been procrastinating on it until I can marathon it with a friend that enjoys it.

Another manga that was strongly influenced by Ame-comi was Uchi no Musume ni Te wo Dasuna! (Don't meddle in my daughter!)
It's way more ecchi and mature themed but still pretty good. Eighth Wonder figma would be cool, but will never happen.
