You know the drill.
Talk about that Lego knockoffs.

Any news on the vietnam set though? Think the guns are modular?

And in passing, anyone know a real cheap place to get a dremel online? I'm looking to get zero suit samus amiibo and make a ball joint for a halo figure.

I can't stress this enough
I called MB but they gave me the whole it's been taken into consideration
After all it would be in the collectors line which is geared towards older audiences.
With April being somewhat teased in one of the TMNT pictures and Uruha from Star Trek I'd say we'd see more than just cortana

I've been rebuilding my CoDBloks into STALKERBLOKS lately, and dual minigun guy looks like he could easily be a freedom exosuit soldier. That could be lighting, though, no way to be sure until better pics come out.

Speaking of, that better be a goddamn AK in the vietbloks picture. There's already good-enough AKs in the line so far, but nothing beats that classic design.
>>
Anyone ever feel like selling a lot of mini figures? All their doubles and least favorites or something? I'd like a small army, and I don't care what figures that includes. I'm mostly hoping I can get a better deal than 3~ something per figure though, like it'd cost with full price blind bags.
>>
>>5292309
I'm starting to think that I MIGHT have too many figures. But... But I'm a horrible hoarder. And I can't bear to part with any yet. :-/

It doesn't help that I'm also using these as my tabletop wargaming stuff now.

Honestly, I really wish I could get more PARTS for cheap. I'd love to do more MOCs that really fit with the CoD and a halo stuff... But I can't bear to take apart the models I have, Because they're all pretty damn awesome.

Ive done one ebay purge and I am about to do another. I try to keep to a 4 man (5 max) squads. I got
>green team
>tan team
>blue team
>black team
>white team
and
>master chief
>grunts squad
>jackal squad
>elite squad
as well as
>zombies (12)
>knights
>destiny
>MGS snakes

some of the teams are still WIP so thats why I have so many parts. Anyone want to trade? I got so many heads and tan torsos I gotta get rid of some
>>
>>5293296
After picking up most of the squad boxes and with extras of most themes/colors, I think I have enough for AT LEAST 6-man teams for every CoD theme or Halo color. Often more.

Technically we only use 3 man teams at the moment for our tabletop game, but that'll go up to 5 soon, And I'd like to leave room for "large scale" tabletop battles.

Well the Eel-Yar is one half of the figures in the Covenant Weapon Customizer pack, while the other is a Storm Elite Minor and it comes with loads of Covie Weapons.

Certainly a better army builder option than straight Blind Bags or Metallic Drop Pods, as I'm NOT liking some of those single weapon choices or the Half Camo gimmick for the Ultra Rares...

I've collected for so long I have weapons and gear to spare, I suppose it's fairly cost-effective to get the armory packs and I have been finding them at least. Still, I don't like the eels as much as the originals, kinda want to get more Skirmishers first.

Charlie Series?
...Just one, a Red Storm Elite Minor with a Type-27 Beam Rifle, though he is one of five Commons.
I'd much prefer him to the Cyan Storm Elite Minor with Needler you get in the Metallic Drop Pod series 3.
Probably my biggest beef with this Gen of single figures is that they either come with side arms (Needler, Pistols) or, when it comes to the ODSTs, Power Weapons.
Hard to build an Army armed mostly with Rocket Launchers and Spartan Lasers.

Back to the Eel-Yar, I don't really understand all the hate they get...
They're 60% IDENTICAL to the old Jackals (Same Arms and Legs) and have better torso molds in my opinion...

The only real issue I see is the different heads, which are still fairly similar though emphasizing different proportions; With the Eel-Yar having long, thick necks and more developed lower jaw as opposed to the old No-neck, Gonzo-nosed Kigs.

When I got the EVA's Last Stand set with the wrecked Warthog I was quite tempted to request three more wheels over time so I could make it into a functional 'Hog, but then fate plopped a full set into my lap through an epic Kijiji score ($15Cdn for pic related).

Oddly the spare set of four were Wolverine wheels (which only come with two, being a half-track), I put them on the original Warthog and used its wheels to fix up the EVA 'Hog.

Anyway yeah a missing parts request for multiples of an item the set only has one of to begin with is bound to raise some warning flags, people abusing the system is why they changed it up in the first place.

well I was able to take him back to Target and exchange him for another one, ended up getting an orange spartan. except he's missing a shoulder. Looks like I won't be buying any more of these. No wonder they're cheaper than minifigs
>>
>>5309117
You have had the ghettoist experience with blind bags.

I've had ONE missing piece from a blind bag - and that was because I was stupid and didn't catch that it wasn't properly sealed and parts had FALLEN out (or been stolen) at the store.

Mostly I get extra bits in blind bags. I've g or most of an extra Spartan at this point.
>>
>>5309177
Don't think I've ever had a piece missing from a blind bag but I sure have had a few QC issues. Worst was with Series 7 (when they doubled the figs count) and the yellow EOD Spartan in particular. First one I bought one of the shoulder pegs snapped off, second one had both shoulder pegs snap off, third thankfully was fine.
>>
>>5309177
I looked on Mega Bloks' website and they have a place where you can get missing pieces, but it asks you for the part number, but I looked on the instructions and it didn't have a number anywhere, so I don't know where to find that
>>
>>5309605
When it comes to blind bags or minifig issues in general they don't deal in individual pieces but will send out an entire replacement fig.
>>
>>5305353
It's out in Mexico, along with series Delta.
>>
>>5309636
so do the figures have numbers? or is there some other way you get a replacement?
>>
>>5309815
I've never made a request for a blind bag fig so I'm not sure what the process is.

I'm looking at it now, the system recognized the code from an Alpha series package but now I'm not sure what follows since there's no parts numbers, I tried the individual serial but it wasn't recognized.

They are actually pretty horrible. I bought pic related and it's a wobbly mess of falling pieces that can't even hold it's gun and has very limited articulation. They look great in the package pictures, though.

I've been wanting to put the titan pieces on a bionicle skeleton, but don't know if that would work because of the scale.

Alright /pbbg/, I's has a question.
So I got Promethean Weapon Customizer as seen here >>5315529, and have been a little stumped as to what to do with those awesome OT Hardlight Shields.
Unlike my Promethean Warrior sets, they don't come with any extra bits to hold them up, so I was at a loss as to how I was going to use them.

Without any spare clips and bits to make them into free-standing structures, I'm currently left with having them wielded by Figs, but as my Brikwars-mindset has armed the Soldiers with "Two-handed Weapons" they don't look right also hefting a fuck-huge shield...

...Jul'Mdama and a nameless Zealot, on the other hand, were only armed with Energy Swords, so I'm thinking about having them get their Hoplite on.
I'm thinking of swapping out their left pauldrons for the silver versions I have lying around from the Covenat Armor Customizer, then claiming that these are the things projecting the glowing Tower Shield when they brace, but I'm wondering if I should also swap the OT Shields for the BT ones...

ok....thats a bit confusing
So they can sometimes not be packaged with another figure, in which case you would use to trans code? or is it always the trans code no matter what?
>>
>>5318884
I'd say go with the code myself.
It's actually rather simple once you start looking; Each "Series" is the last four digits, so if you find A###45ES on a few bags, it's probably a Series 45 box.
Then it's just a matter of looking up the first three numbers to see what a particular bag holds.
Last I checked, my local Wal-mart had a Series 65 box, so the A11065ES bag I first bought had a Green Gummi AND a Steel Orbial in the same pack, which implies that at least Series 65 double packs Gummi figures.
>>
>>5318910
I know the first series or two of Charlie did NOT double pack the gummies. Still a bit bummed about that.

They do now though. Most recent I've seen was series 85.

Plastic doesn't come free, nor does shipping.

Also, the Halo Heroes set just showed up at my local fred meyer, picked one up. Five bucks gets you basically a metallic's worth of toy, maybe a bit less. Little wedge to stand on, a clear, uh, tonfa bit for a flight stand, a name, two painted weapons, and some paint on the figure. And this figure... is a lady~

>>
>>5320674
Sniper Team? Yeah, a cool little set.

Most of the squad packs came with some nice terrain pieces. I love them all.

I mostly got one of each. I doubled up on the sniper pack because of the gear in it, and because the troops work well alongside most other themes.

I think the only one I've grabbed more of is the ATLAS troop packs, because I love the exos and AW in general.
>>
>>5320987
>>5321065

I know. I had a couple of sniper unit, seal team and jungle trooper packs still in box that I'm opening now.

It's just that after the last year of opening the new packs with 4 troops, it stings a little to pay more for a lot less.

Yeah, the desert squad pack stings a bit. I take some consolation, though, from it having a few of the cooler bits we've seen - the bandana and the drug mag. And a New LMG barrel too, right?

Its better than the Halo troop packs that were entirely a recolor of previous packs... Bit with one less figure for no reason. I was pretty pissed at those when they were out on shelves right alongside the older sets, making the changes that much more apparent and stupid.

I like the ones with the noseless faces. Makes me wish Lego Friends did those, they're simplistic and not as jarring.

Friends Military when?

True enough.

Funny enough I found some of those micro Barbie sets in my local supermarket today for about $4 a pop.

>pic related

I was tempted out of sheer perversity.

Perhaps I will, not sure how to incorporate it into my WoW set up though.

Spell Nefarian's name right, or I'll resurrect the black dragonflight and have them chew your anus out with their fiery maws.

Not to mention it takes up about 4 square feet of space...

I nabbed mine when TRU ran a one-day sale for $99. Took me about 12 hours to build in total. I don't regret getting it all though, I love the thing a lot more after building it than I did before.

Prime is definitely the weakest of the four I have.

Starscream is easily the best with Megatron just behind him.

Grimlock suffers a lot because of his huge Dino head backpack.
