Teacher of mine is auctioning her gi Joe collection. Any of these of any worth? Any particularly rare or valuable ones? Most are in good or fair condition. They start at 30 bucks. I will dump pics of the collection.

Jokes aside, those Joes have a very small niche, I only know one guy that collects them.

O I am laffin
Aren't these mostly just 90s Joes? I only ever heard of like three 12" Joes from that entire generation being worth more than retail, and they were con exclusives.

Have fun being added to a domestic terror watch list there, spaz.
General consensus is to pass?

It really depends.
Were you a kid when the Classic Collection was at retail or otherwise have a nostalgic connection to Classic Collection figures?
If the answer is no I would pass.
There are better 1/6 offerings from about the same time frame that can be had for about the same price as you'll find CC Hasbro stuff (sometimes cheaper too because people think that Hasbro Classic Collection should command the prices of vintage GI Joe products) like 21st Century Toys, DML, and early BBi.
Even though the 1/6 price bubble has grown out of control, the quality and detail is so much higher since the 90's.

I'd give her $30 for the whole lot at most. They aren't the 60's G.I. Joes so they aren't worth jack shit.
Agreed. She's dreaming. $30 each is more than original retail on most of them. Many of them can still be had for far less at overpriced etailers.
