I seem to remember a Boba Fett figure with a removable helmet that was just some guy with a beard but Google is turning up nothing. I'm sure this was before the prequels. Can anyine shed some light on this for me please?

I don't think they ever made a figure with the original actor for Boba Fett under the helmet.
>>
>>5285255
I remember it vividly, in sure he had a head band thing and a beard it was on sale I a comic shop in my home town in the 90s. It pissed me off because it was so disappointing
>>
2nd hit on google "boba fett removeable helmet"
http://www.rebelscum.com/Boba_Fett_Vintage_Collection_TVC_VC09.asp
>>
>>5285273
I'm starting to think I am, he definitely had a beard and it was definitely before Jango. I had a conversation with a worker about how piss poor it was.
>>
>>5285287
It was the 90s, that figure is from 5 years ago. I know the time frame because the shop moved by the early 2000s
>>
>>5285294
bootleg, bunch of them had the removable helmet.
different colors too

The one to the left?

The original figure was part of a three pack from 2008,The Fett Legacy, the re-released single carded in the legacy line, and the vintage collection.

That looks like a custom, this was carded and I'm sure he had some brown head gear

It wasnt a head they made for Fett.
>>
>>5285318
The anon who said it was a bootleg is probably right, then.

I can't recall an official Boba Fett with a removable helmet prior to Jango Fett's debut.
>>
I thought this was gonna be simple but now it's like it never existed and I've literally held it in my hands. I'm kinda freaked out
>>
>>5285255
>Boba fett starring in curb your enthusiasm
>>
>>5285318
You do realize that plenty of people made carded customs back then, right? And a comic shop is exactly the kind of place that would have something like that outside of a toy show.. right? Stop being a fucking moron. There's a half dozen star wars toy archives that exist online and if you just have to know you can go through figure by figure and see that, no, it does not exist. There are things that are close to it- A george lucas storm trooper, a bunch of random Mandalorians, but these are all from 2005 or later. Maybe it was Dash Rendar, but probably not, you're just an idiot, duped by a custom at a store.

Did he look like this?
>>
>>5285255
Boba Fett is only a bounty hunter on the weekends.

During the week he works as an accountant for Incom.

I thought the first official Boba Fett "figure" (if you could even call this sack of shit that) with a removable helmet was the Titanium one.
>>
>>5285255

That's from shooting a scene for the Special Edition of Return of the Jedi.

Boba Fett's real original actor looked like a grizzled badass.
>>
>>5285979
Huh, if that's what he'd officially look like under the mask, I'd have been okay with that. He looks like a space Chuck Norris.
>>
>>5285878
No, dark hair, beard, and a brown headband thing that I think covered his ears like muffs, possibly with a mike coming down on one side of his face

Probably just misremembering this from 2002
>>
>>5285979
He looks the same guy who played Crix Madine.
>>
>>5285255
I honestly want Disney to make this Fett canon.
>>
>>5286016
The figure had the helmet on on the card and some sort of announcement on the front stating it was a first ever or something with a pic on the back of the exposed disappointing face
>>
>>5285253
Boba related, I picked up a mis-printed Boba Fett milestone figure (250th/300th?) is there any value in it?
>>
>>5285996
>He looks like a space godboy faggot with no acting talent.

fixed that for you
>>
>>5287970
someone is either shitposting terribly or massively asspained.
take your pick.
>>
>>5287966
I think it's become quite clear that I know about dick all about Boba Fett figures.
>>
>>5285339
Memory is a strange thing OP.

Sometimes you remember or misremember things that never happened.
>>
>>5285260
By chance, was this at the Comic Vault in Allentown, PA? Because if so, it was a custom job by one of the owners friends.
>>
>>5288792
No, it was late 90s in Stoke on Trent in the UK. We're only a small place and there was no custom scene round here. It's got to be one vivid false memory or I've slipped into an alternative universe. Strange thing is I remember seeing it much more than once and I've even seen it in an article once about disappointing toys. I really don't get what's going on

>>5286016
>Jango Fett Slave I Pilot
>with Quick-Draw Action
>sits on ship cock-pit
>sees jedi
>quickly draw small guns and shoot jedi from tinny window
>>
Get ready for seeing Michael b. Jordan under all those fett helmets.
>>
>>5285295
Yeah what you're thinking of doesn't exist and especially not in the time frame you're saying you remember.
>>
>>5285253
oh yeah, i have this one. the vintage collection is the exact same. removable helmet and all
>>
>>Everytime you look under Boba, Jango or any CLone troopers helmet

>>Kia ora bro!

Aw, Kia ora Tem
>>
>>5290941
Do you have a picture you could share so I don't have to chalk this up to "The Mandela Effect" although that would explain why I also clearly remember Tony Shaloub dying of a heart attack in 2004 and Monk being calleced
>>
>>5290941
Never mind that's the non-bearded Mango clone Cert, not the anomaly I can remember
>>
>>5287982
Why not both?
>>
>>5285979
I met him. He was kind of a jerk, but had spent hours signing autographs for nerds. I think he's just milking the name until he dies.

Anyway OP, isn't there a Mandolorian/Leia comic pack with a bearded guy? That might be it. Or the six Mandalorian elite pack.

anon are you feeling alright

I remember John Ritter dying, this was a seperate distinct memory. I only realised a couple of years later when Monk was still on air

I appreciate all the help guys but it's not gonna turn up. I'm gonna have accept that I've created a very vivid false memory or traveled from parallel earth

everything is possible.
>>
>>5285339
Dude, just because it was carded doesn't mean that it's official. People make carded customs all the time. Stop freaking out and listen to everyone telling you that (if it existed at all) it's a custom.
