H.A.C.K.S. Skeletons
Fucking beautiful.
Seeing those boners bent over trying to ride racing bikes just brings a smile to my face.
Went out for dinner with some friends yesterday, brought one of my skellies
>bunch of 30yearolds
>thoroughly amused by 1 skelly toy
One of em spend half an hour dicking around with it, lol. Next time we meet I'll bring em all.
>>5282740
is that a scythe?
Anyone break any PoseSkellys yet.
I know they are quite durable in construction but I've learned to not underestimate ham-hands.
>>5283866
That's the scythe that came with the coffin set, yeah.

>>5284443
>>5283871
One of my guy's jaw always falls off. it isn't a break per se but I have to scramble though pockets to find it a lot.
>>5285048
You keep a pose skelly in your pocket? All the time? I'm sure some people here won't agree, but I love this. You've got your priorities straight.
>>5285054
He's (at least one) either in my pocket or my bag. I tend to carry a Cobra Commander as well.
I've learned that the days I don't are the days my girlfriend wants to take a picture. of one.
>>5285364
Weirdly I have no idea what album I put the roving stuff in
>>5285364
>>5285403
I swear it's nearly impossible to pose the bike with a skelly on it.
Do you think Pose Skelly would hold up if given to an older kid? I don't own one, but it seems like it would be a fun gift.

Is anyone else with me on wanting barbells and exercise benches for their skellys?
>>5289201
I'd buy it.
>>5289201
Don't know about the bench, but there are shitty dollar-store wrestling figures that come with stuff like barbells.
>>5288374
They are a bit fragile, I think classical action figures are more suited for that age.

>Repostan from the Revoltech General
We got info on the skeleton capsule figure.
Fight! Dokuroman (=skullman)
It has 2 series, one for body, the other for weapons.
Body is 400yen each, weapon is 300 yen each
March release.
The "Body" line, each has the skeleton, one head gear, and a base.
The "Weapon" line, each contains a weapon, base, hands for weapon, and one of extra hands, head or a hand gun.
The different package combination for the weapons.
Also says is in the size of Revol Mini.
(I really hope this means there are future Mini figures...)
Just to be clear, THIS IS NOT THE SAME SKELETON AS PREVIOUS REVOLTECHS. It is way smaller
Revo Mini figures are figures in 1/18 scale in case someone didn't knoe
>>5295823
>Capsule figure
Fucking dammit, that means nigh-impossible to get.
>>5295826
Actually, they're a bit taller. They're likely purposefully scaled to match with Revol Minis, being 11cm tall(which is about 4 1/3", or roughly 6'6" in 1/18 scale)
>>5295829
And I didn't read that very well, did I? Revol Minis are 'non-scale', but are close to being 1/18, that's certainly how I put them to use. They're generally about 1/2" too tall, but you can work around that usually.
>>5295827
Yeah, I still hope that Amico or HLJ carries them, if not it will a pain to get
Still they looks really cool
On a related note
Someone knoe which scale of model kits, could work with pose skellies
I mean we see models in 1/35 scale or 1/100 scale and so on, so which one could be roughly in scale with skellies?
>>5295842
Pose Skels are about 8.2 cm/3.25 in tall. That makes them roughly 1/22(assuming 6 foot height), so 1/20-1/25
If you choose the Big Person as the adult(even though the regular's what their own items are scaled to), roughly 1/20, so they fit into 1/18.
>>5295826
I posted these originally, don't add a line of wrong information please.
RevolMini, and these weapons and skeleton are roughly 1/16th scale.
>>5295857
Also, an addendum:
I use them as 1/18 skellies. For my 1/18 figures, I use items from about 1/15-1/20, with certain exceptions made('will it permanently damage the grip-hand or can they fit into the seat' being the main concerns). I think you'd be able to get away with the same range, but it's not something I've tested much and sometimes the difference of up to 7 times(1/15 divided by 1/20 = 4/3, cube that) the volume is very apparent.
>>5295866
If you want a blanket statement? 'No'. 1/24(and 1/25, but that's not common) might be ok, but anything smaller than that's getting too small. A 1/32 figure is about 2.25" tall typically, which is a full inch shorter than the regular pose skeleton.
Also, remember that most scale model vehicles don't have the ability to fit their own scale figures inside them, so small=not great. Though you'd be able to mitigate that some by simply removing the lower parts.
>>5295870
Sorry M8, It wasn't my intention to create confusion about the scale, I haven't been following the revo mini line, so I believe that they were in 1/18 scale
>>5295872
>>5295878
Thanks for the info guys
>Moose soon
>>5295895
No worries. Scale has been inconsistent in the Re-ment line, which is a bit frustrating but understandable. Given that Pose Skels are designed to be cute, my suggestion is follow the Rule of Cute(as you would the Rule of Cool for other things).
I forget, are you US or Canada? Because if you're US, check your Target for the Li'l Woodzeez line. They're all over the place scale wise(mostly because in terms of height, they're about 1/24, but in girth they're about 1/12), but you should be able to get some stuff that's Pose Skel compatible, especially the plates and food-stuff.
>>5295908

I wil check those

Damn that's nice.
I need more revo skeletons. To continue making these abominations.
Roommate's GF brought in some Christmas decorations, but they were severely lacking in the spoopy department.
Was on hlj and saw the rhino and gorilla skeletons on back order. Do they usually come back into stock? I have a pretty large order I want to ship this month and would love to include them. They'd be my first pose skeletons. Are they a fun toy? Sort of looking for something fun to play with on my desk while things are loafing and whatnot.
>>5306967
Do you know what clothes line that is? I'm wondering if I should splurge on some the pico neemo stuff or something.
>>5335401
It looks like it is from pico neemo, but I can't be sure
Skeletons, of all shapes and sizes come together for the holidays.
I'm looking for a good realistic, posable skeleton to use as drawing reference. I'm thinking I might go with a MythicArticulations skel, do you guys have any other recommendations?
>>5336029
https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=COO10045&mode=retail
Not the most accurate, but it's big and can work as a good substitute. Also way cheaper than mythic articulation while being a lot more durable from what i've seen.
>>5336079
Thanks man. I've never bought from MA but their stuff does look a bit flimsy. Any idea what the spine articulation is like on this guy? Looks like the joints are in the hip and maybe upper torso?
>>5336084
Thats the 2.0 body, which i haven't tried yet, but heres a video of the original skeleton body
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi5USDBoqac
Articulation comes on around 4 minutes in.
I actually don' know how the spine works on the 2.0 body, because it can bend like pic related, but the original model can not bend like that.
MA stuff isn't flimsy, per say, but they are made as more as display pieces, and not stuff you should play around with. My friend bought some crazy deer demon thing from them, and she ended up snapping the neck on hers.
I'm looking at more pics now, that's some seriously nuts articulation on the spine. Oh yeah I just finished that vid. Looks like the 2.0 is a real big improvement. That sucks that the top coat of paint isn't sealed though, but I guess you can do it yourself.

Look who finally came in the mail! Thank you for the skellilngton advice, /toy/.
The range of motion isn't quite as wide as I was hoping, but it will still serve me very well as a drawing reference. I really like the size, haven't counted the ribs n vertebra n shit, so I can't vouch for its anatomical accuracy. The joints are TIGHT (except for the one in the right humerus that's a little loose). This definitely isn't going to fall apart like 1.0 apparently did. It doesn't sit really well due to the limited range of motion in the hips.
The main issue I have with this fig is the paint on the joints. It's patchy, ugly as sin, and it might make the joints a bit stiffer. I would much rather have bare metal joints. I'm hoping it'll chip off with use.
I haven't decided how I want to attach the tail, so no nekomimi skeleton yet. I whipped up some cute kneesocks instead. My sewing machine broke while I was making them, so I'm not sure how long it will take me to make a proper outfit.

This is the living room where the Skelly family likes to chill. This is my favourite part of the house mainly because I used the better furniture.
>>5412956
These rooms are awesome. Did they take long to make?
>>5412978
I actually didn't make the house, I bought it second hand. It still needs a lot of work though. I need to tile the roof and paint it. It also need new ceiling paper because the place I bought it from put tape on it and it ended up ripping it.
Spooky staircase.
Sweet dreams little skellys.
