Thus far Bandai has kept extremely faithful to the prototypes they've shown, for better or for worse, with the major exception being Trunks and that was a complete downgrade in quality rather than making improvements. So if you're a student of history you'll note that the only changes they can make to prototypes for this line will mean an even worse end product.

It's got a new chest and head, everything else is old Vegeta. Though I think Vegeta has aged the best out of the older figures so if anyone is going to have a reused body it should be Vegeta, which is funny since they now have a new Saiyan armor mold for Trunks.
And those boots are hilarious. I'd be fine if they just painted lines on the boot tops, they don't even need to sculpt them and it'd look a lot better. Also they were never colored gold, I don't get why they went with that color.
