Which is why I won't buy anything from them unless it's a nude blank.
Their figures are really cool, but I don't have fantasy 1/18 scale and at this point I'm only interested in making customs of my own. And a blank nude to sculpt or sew onto and paint is more interesting than buying a complete figure for $30-50.
1/18 is already nearing the point of complete disinterest for me.

Yeah, maybe things will change once figures start to sell. They still believe they can produce Series 2 on their own without KS money, but they've been burning through the KS money like crazy and these figures are coming in underpriced for the KS Backers. So I won't be surprised to see Series 2 get a KS in the future. Of course that also means it might not make it to the market until 2017/18 right now when they showed it off in 2014.

And when the HACKS cost much more than normal 1:18 lines, army building any of these figures will become super expensive.

I backed around $600 and don't even care about half the toys. The all in for $500 or so dropped figure costs to something like $15 per figure vs the normal $30, so I picked up multiples of the figures I wanted (some skeletons, Myrmidons, molten spartans) and thought even if I unload the figures I don't want for under retail I still wind up with 12-15 figures for under $100.

No, they did some OC to add an enemy. If you look at the whole lineup, I think all but maybe one evil character is also a woman. The heroes were all guys until someone pointed that out and that's when the Amazons were added to the line.
