Somethings like the color are off, but it looks like it it's the camera or lighting. Obviously, there's some missing paint apps, but the lighting really washes away the sculpted details.

I just can't get over the proportions of the new articulated Halo figs... the chest armor is huge, so be removable, and the body looks scrawny by comparison - especially the shoulders.
I think they'd look much better if the armor were molded on, and the body parts themselves were swappable.

there's three lines (two of them with the same name and similar logos) and each have different aesthetics and articulation standards.
Basically it goes TMNT classic cartoon + full articulation, TMNT nickelodeon cartoon + skylanders/monster high/spongebob articulation, and kiddy versions with babby articulation.

It's really the problem I had with 1/18 was the lack of female figures.
Like GI Joe put out some good figures like Helix and the Renegades Scarlett, but I want to be able to make dioramas that aren't necessarily contemporary military stuff (sci fi particularly) which means more female characters.
Of course there's stuff like Angel Forge, but that can get pretty expensive in cost and time.
I'd really like to see female COD figures with uncovered faces, and even just like a "bystander" pack for TMNT, COD, or Halo with a mix of male and female super articulated civilians with props like computers, traffic cones, phones, briefcases, tools, food, small appliances etc. instead of weapons.

Considering that the classic Turtles are probably more collector orientated like HALO, CoD, Creed and the upcoming Trek they'll be doing her.
Hell we've got Lt Uhura for the Star Trek line next year, we've just gotten a female Spartan torso and armor that goes with it in the Fire Base set this year and more coming next year.
Classic Cartoon April will happen, she might be in an expensive set to start with though.

I've gotta agree. I love that the new ones are articulated, but the older spartans definitely seem a bit more proportional.
It's not a big enough deal that I'm majorly disappointed by it, since they're miniature figures for a building toy line, but I do think I'd prefer if they had just made more articulated spartans without the armor customization.

Overall, the paint around the claws is a little sloppy on both dinos. The tail joints aren't as tight as they should be but for $40 I'm not complaining. Identical to official Lego dinos. Got them on Ebay from ching chong China

I have a similar naming scheme for some of my spartans. When I first started collecting, I was strictly CoD only. When the new articulation spread to Halo, though, I picked up the metallic bronze guy, liked him, and decided he was a time traveler named nicknamed "Bronze Man" who traveled back to hang out with my CoD guys. Since then I've also picked up a Uranium Man (zombie containment 2-pack), Cobalt Man (blue metallic), and Gold Man (golden astronaut). I've also gotten hugely into the rest of the Halo stuff, so now I'm basically lost to the world.

Honestly I'm not sure which would be better. LEGO would have its own cartoonish charm to go well with TF2's own art style - and Scout would probably look horrific in Mega Bloks - but at the same time, I get the feeling Mega Bloks would go more all-out with specialized pieces: weapons, hats, etc.

Actually since I've been thinking about Hat Fortress Bloks, now I want some fuggin Counter Strike and/or Half Life Bloks.
They would be perfect for the new super articulated mini figs and instead of vehicles they could just put out modular parts of maps. Like garage of Office, front and long hall, paper and hostage room etc. as three separate sets with a few hostie, T, and CT mini figs.

I've slowed down on my CoD buying because the things I want I can't find and the things I find I already have, but just last night I came to a terrible decision. I was playing STALKER, as I often do, and I looked over at my guys and thought... why not?
So, now I'm making my CoD guys into STALKER factions. Duty's easy, I just got the advance trooper pack. Freedom will be easy too, I've got tons of Jungle and Desert troopers. It's Monolith that's giving me troubles. I'm gonna have to find an Arctic trooper pack still in the wild, I think.

Ebay. It was $40 for 1 T-Rex, 1 Indominus, 2 spheres, and 2 mini figs (the autistic kid and the punjab).
The mini Indominuses also came from Ebay. and were $7 a piece. The quality is well worth the price for all dinos. It only took 2 weeks to arrive too.
I got tired of waiting for Lego to produce more sets. I really had to have the dinos. When the October shipment sold out instantly, I found these. New stock isn't available until January, so Lego screwed themselves out of $200

I'm worried about that happening to me.
Right now I've sorta got my bloks all in a mess because I was doing a lot of rejiggering of my setups. When the dust settles, I'm planning on having most if not all of my AssBloks on my two pirate ships, all my codbloks set up in a STALKER display on one of my shelves, and I've gotta find someplace to stow all my HaloBloks.
Speaking of STALKERBloks, I got the artic bloks and mixed them up with some jungle and desert troopers, so now I've got 4 Monolith, 4 Duty, 4 Freedom, 4 USS, 4 Mercenary, and 13 Loners, one or two of which could be Bandits, though without black hoods they just look like any other guy in a hoodie.
The only major faction that's missing, and the one I can't really do anything about, is the Ecologists. To make the Ecologists, I'd need to buy an astronaut set and repaint it, and I don't really wanna do that. For that matter, I also don't have anything here that represents Clear Sky, but then I've only played SoC and CoP, so screw them. And besides, following the prevailing theory of what happened to Clear Sky, my Monolith squad represents them just well.
When I get a good terrain setup put together, I'll take some pics to share.

My stupid Walmart had the new 2-man customizer type of packs, featuring two Promethean soldier dudes (the other pack is tan/blue spartans).
But the fucking store put them out without scanning the items into the system, and because they wouldn't scan - even though the price is exactly the same as the other customizer packs - they literally just refused to sell them to me.

So far I've only gotten Halo blind bags. Mostly because they're fun little mini action figures, I'd still sorta consider myself a fan of Halo, even though I haven't actually played one of the games in years because I can't be fucked to buy a new console.
The CoD and Asscreed Bloks look fun, I might get some eventually. Never been into CoD, though, and AssCreed was alright but definitely should have ended a few games ago.

Well I enjoy the games, and for Halo I've read a few of the novels. I wouldn't say I'm a "fan" in that I buy every single thing involved with those properties.
Except for AssCreed. I actually really like AssCreed.
Also I like Bloks because of the mini figs. It's like having a RAH era GI Joe in a tiny scale that fits with Lego and other building block toys.
