Are there any Japanese robot toylines that aren't Transformers, Chogokin-related, Gundam-related, or Sentai?
The only one I can think of is Mugenbine.
Mugenbine is under Machine Robo, Machine Robo is the counterpart to Transformers. So yea, they are kinda like transformers.
The Robot Damashii line covers a wide-range of mecha shows beyond Gundam. Metal Armor Dragonar, Aura Battler Dunbine, and Cross Ange are all non-Gundam mecha series that have gotten serious attention recently in RD form.

S.H.Figuarts Space Opera

Code Geass too, which has the majority ofits mecha between RDs and the In Action! Offshoot line

Frame Robo, Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkallion and Macross. Of the things that are going in some form or another right now.
I believe Machine Robo Mugenbine is pretty much abandoned right now since the Machine Robo rights seems to have been returned to Production Reed.
The past ofcourse has a lot more things.

Maybe I should have been more specific. I'm looking for a Japanese robot toy series that isn't based on a mecha anime, is more aimed at children, but isn't transformers, chogokin or sentai.
Like.... The closest thing I can think of is Diaclone. Something with that vibe. I know the reboot is coming, but I figure there might be something like that that is kinda toyetic but current.
If mugenbine exists, maybe something like that does?

Takaratomy has been making gimmick toylines, one of them are remote controlled robots.
>>5202298
Latest are these rollerskates ones.
There are also random candy toy lines, etc.

When these toylines become hits and popular enough, they eventually receive anime adaptions too. Examples are Zoids are B-daman Bakugaiden.
Good Smile Arms
Riobot
Fucking macross, bitches. For discerning lovers of airplanes and haters of money.

Most macross stuff is transformable if that wasn't obvious
>>5205439
looks more like a generic piloted machine rather than a cool alien robot
>>5205446
It's... not supposed to be?
>>5205475
unless its batman piloting this thing will never be cool and some transformer knockoff to the eyes of normies
>>5205481
Batman has a vf-22
>>5205446
Well most variable fighters are designed by humans in the show until plus and even then it doesn't show much. You want alien check out frontier.
>>5205481
There's also the destroids and a personal favorite of mine. Sentinels black getter.
>>5205513
batman isnt fatman, anon
>>5205481
Since when are we trying to cater to normies? To them everything is a transformers knockoff.
>>5202248
Actually there are a few.
Webdiver, Tobot, Asoblocks could be considered a Mech line, Biklons, Mecard.
Granted, most of those are Korean based, but they all have some sort of toy and/or cartoon line for kids.
>>5205664
>Webdiver
>Korean based
No. Webdiver is from Takara toys.
>>5205668
>most of those

Keybots by Bandai. Like Mugenbine the stand alone toy was okay, but combined they're great!
I own at least 2 of each one.
