I don't have a picture, but I had a jeep for wolverine in the 90s that had extendable blades in the wheels. It's engine was a fucking wheat thresher. I had so much fun as a kid throwing people in there, and blasting apocalypse with the missiles on the back.

I loved that Sentinel. LOVED. The Blackbird was cool too. I also had and liked Wolverine's combat cave. it worked surprisingly well.
I still want the HQ/Danger Room but it sells for megabuxxx now. Even though it's probably shitty.

I one of the best christmas's I had as a kid was around the time MIB and Indepenence Day came out. My brothers and I got Edger's van and each got one of the Alien's from ID4 that came with those sweet-ass floppy disc games. Great shit.

These days I'd love an AIBO but they're ridiculously expensive.
When I was a kid, my parents found a building toy who's namy I cannot remember. All of of the pieces were different components to vehicles and machines like whole wheel axels, cockpits, chomping claws, cannons, jet wings, etc. That all connected using a universal connecting system. The theme was evil robots vs cyborg humans, the robot one I had was like a crome R2-D2 with grabby claws and a glass dome with a brain inside instead of the regular dome.
I never saw any other sets in stores, nor did any of my friends have other sets.
Can /toy/ help me figure out what it was?

The dudes that fit into the vehicles were army man sized and only moved at the shoulder, hips, and neck. I received them as a christmas present in 1998 (I know because power rangers in space was still running). I have no idea where they were from.

Your set doesnt sound familar to me at all, and i checked a few toy lines running at the time, nothing is coming up atm. The basic sounding joints/articulation make it sound like a much older or cheaper/bootleg toy.

No, the human character I had with one set couldn't have been more than two inches tall, with basic swiveling joints. All of the pieces used a universal clipping peg/whole that made it more of a building toy than a vehicle toy. All of the humans were cyborgs and the robots I think had chrome paint. I've been searching for it online for the last few days, not remembering the name of the line is really bugging me.
If I get the time, I'll draw the universal connector the set used. Maybe I had a sub line of a more popular toy.
