Got Satsuki at a convention today.
She is a thing of beauty. Dat ass, man. I love the glossy white they used too.
Shame her backwards leg motion is kinda limited. Also I had to scrape out her stand port as for some reason it was filled with flash, which is pretty poor. I mean, not "NECA stuck/snapping joint syndrome" poor but still pretty shitty.
But that aside, I love her. The connection bolt for the extra scissors were a nice touch too.

The subs are pretty terrible sometimes but understandable nonetheless, and you will need to get used to the voices, but I can deal with it because the music is so much better. Why is Bandai's QC so inconsistent? You have Robot Damashii's, Gunpla, Gundam Fix Figuaration SRC/SOC etc.. which are usually top notch. Then you have figuarts/Ultra Act which do vary a bit in quality but for the most part are on par with figma releases. Then there's the AGP series, don't really need to say anything here.

I bought a ninja slayer figure the other night and when I opened the box the left arm was already snapped at the shoulder where it connects into the bicep. Should I try to contact the company that makes it? I don't know if the store accepts refunds or not, and I would have to drive an hour and a half just to get there. Was super dissapointed. Does this happen with figmas a lot? I've never had this happen with such an expensive figure.

I heard some things about Ninja Slayer and his joints being a bit fragile versus most Figma but it doesn't happen much to the line rather certain releases. Ninja Slayer on my end is still holding up well.
As for GSC helping you out I sort of doubt it seeing Ninja Slayer came out some time ago. If anything the store should look into the case and see what to do from there. Though if you drove that far make a call about it first.

Nurses are pretty solid all around and swapping the heads wasn't as worrisome. Kitakami is great but having her and Mako together is great.

The crashing effect under Link's sword looks more like a dashing forward on top of water than a cutting effect.
Use the torso joints more and push the legs a little further forward, would look more dynamic like that IMO.

Hmm, that makes sense for the sprint effect on asuna's feet. I think the effect on link's side is supposed to be a crashing wave I just did my best trying to make it seem more like a crash instead of a "wooshing" (?) wave. Thanks for the tips though! I'll get to posing some more tomorrow.
The lighting is all natural. It was a cloudy day so pretty damn perfect for photos by the window.

The effect pieces are great! Wonderfully solid and beautifully made. Must buy if you have boat girls. One gripe I had was the "puffy" ones have a flat side about 2 inches long that is a little out of place.

Wonky Bakuzan anon here. Got an email back from GSC after I sent them pictures of how bad the sword was- they won't send a replacement because they reckon it was a bootleg (which it can't be because aside from the wonky sword, everything else in the box was absolutely fine- plus I don't even think there are any Satsuki bootlegs yet). They've recommended I contact the supplier, which I've done. Hopefully they'll send me a replacement or at the very least a refund.
In the event they don't, are there any other ways of getting a replacement sword that actually looks like Bakuzan (so not a generic katana)? Fuck, I'd take Shapeways over having to buy a whole new Satsuki. I'm a poorfag Britbong surviving on autismbux BTW.

It's pretty solid all around and yeah all Figma usually come with a stand and arm.
Don't expect him to do crazy high kicks but the material along the legs is flexible enough for decent articulation. If anything the detail on him will definitely floor you right out the box.
