I'm trying to find a neon genesis evangelion figure of Unit 01. All the ones I'm finding are only 5-7 inches tall and the only 12 inch one I found was $300. I don't really want to go over $100 for this. Any suggestions on where I can find a good figure?
There are quite a few, are you looking for the TV or Rebuild version? That would help narrow things down.

TV / The End of Evangelion movie

The best one you can possibly get, if you ask me, is the SOC SPEC Unit 01. Unfortunately, the revised (and superior) verison might run you a bit over $100 if you buy from a Japanese site. I can assure you it is quite worth perusing.
Otherwise, there's not too much out there for the TV version to my knowledge. There are the early Revoltechs, which I've heard are kinda problematic, but look nice and are very affordable. Posing them might take a bit more effort than more modern figures, but it's not too bad with a little thought.

To add on to this anon's post, if you're okay with building the figure, you could try the Bandai perfect grade model kit.

Ok Thanks!

From your post it seems like you don't want 5-7" tall Eva and only want big ones, but don't want spend over$100 . I suggest you lower your size or raise your spending amount .

This looks pretty nice. I have the revoltech one and it's decent but this one is looks better for sure. Considering getting it. Are there similar versions for 00 or 02?

Yep! I have the Unit 02 and it's fantastic. There is also a Unit 00 in blue, and then another in yellow based on the Rebuild color scheme, but still using the TV proportions.

$150 isn't even bad for a figure that size. Im really tempted but i was planning on getting a bunch of star wars bandai kits. Too many good toys.
>RAH Neo Unit 00 available on Mandarake
Even at the ungodly prices they're going for I'm half-considering it. I have Unit 01 and having the 00 to pair up with it would be godly

The bandai HGLM kit from '97 is pretty great, honestly.

I'd say $150's a fine price for 'em, but you can find them cheaper some places if you're really patient. Either way, they come with a ton of stuff.
Not only the base body and armor, but a massive amount of accessories as well. Plus, the leg armor is die-cast so they feel pretty hefty too.

This. I'm building that kit and whilst it's pretty dated it's easily the most accurate figure on the market at the moment. It will need painting though, as it relies heavily on kinda crappy stickers for colour breakup otherwise.
Well, mine will need painting anyway, seeing how I now have a pair of Unit 02 legs for it, after I...shattered the original legs....trying to strip botched paint from them...with bathroom cleaner.
BRB, tanging self.
Stay away from the revos. Even if you get a flawless one that stupid fucking rubbery piece that isn't centered properly will be the bane of your display.

I have the 01, 00, and 02 Revos and this man is right. I still like them though.

>fav Eva is the mass production series
>only fig for it worth a damn is revoltech.
Even if they'd have updated it to the newer articulation I'd be satisfied, it's just so stiff looking compared to everything else I have

You don't like the bigger Kaiyodo ones?
>>5300558
The revoltech is better.

I know the RD evangelion line is ded, but sweet lord a robot damashii MP eva would be the best thing ever.

I had heard they're shit but I'm going on hearsay.
If it wasn't ridiculously expensive I'd nab that special edition model kit with the limb articulation though.

I got that for $120 and then it got priced down to that.... it's still worth it, I'd buy another. can upload pictures later.
Any Evas within 3" - 4.5" in existence?

I think the mini Revoltechs are that size.

I had the weapon MP Eva and Eva 02 and they look great, they're just too fragile. I still have the weapons for my other eva toys
has anyone here ever built a sega kotobukiya resin EVA?
