Monthly Building Challenge:
Your challenge this month is to design a Microfighter for a vehicle that doesn't have one yet. It can be of any property, as long as it has 100 or less pieces, seats 1 minifig, and is cute and chibi. Get swooshing!
first for dinosaurs
>>5776334
Ill post her here too.
>tfw been out of the loop with lego for years and years and when trying to build things now I keep forgetting these pieces exist
Goddammit I'm so used to having just headlight bricks and 1x1 Technic bricks with the axle-peg inserts, this is horrifying.
What's your favorite toy? Mine is ball.
Ball>Stick
>>5776121
Your pleb is showing, simpleton.
All intelligent species know string is pinnacle of /toy/.
Anything I can sleep on is a good toy for me
>>5776121
I fucking love my Balls.
No, seriously, they're the best. Easy build, easy fun. You can pick them up and swoosh them around, the posable parts they have work very well and they look quite series accurate, and they're just overall cool and fun. An underrated lifesaver and backbone element of the Federation's space forces.
The only thing I'd complain about regarding them is that they really need their panel lining to look good.
Any of you guys own these? How is the quality?
>>5775676
These are worth 2500 USD each on ebay.
>>5775676
>How is the quality?
Shit
>>5779298
Freaking goodwill....
Terrible customs in general are also welcome.
If the item itself isn't terrible, absurd listings and other oddities are fine too.
>>5775183
This is pretty cool desu, apart from the thick paint.
What are some novel ways that you use your toys, /toy/?
I use my toys as drumsticks!
>>5775074
>abusing your toys
You should be fucking put on fire senpai
I pour hotglue on my qt toys
The Revoltech Yamaguchi 100 comes close with nice body proportions that are halfway between the TV and Rebuild and articulation but the head looks retarded. The eyes and entire top half are too close together and it looks like a one off baddie from a 70s super robot show. The Robot Spirits version looks like a worm or snake.
>>5772407
Damn. You'd think they could at least make one.
Nothing is ever perfect in life.
>TFW someone was paid to design this
Why are power ranger villians so insane yet great at the same time?
Designed by the Japanese
>>5771617
That Kyoruger episode was simply hilarious. I mean, most of them are funny, but I remember that one being one of the best.
Goddamn if these toys were just a tiny bit better I'd buy all of them
I made a thread awhile back about them and grabbed Fury? It's okay but could be so much better and I'd go all in
I quite like the SOTA T hawk, are that and pic related the only good ones?
Neca made a Tonto figure. Can't think of anything else from modern times. I think US toy companies like to avoid figures that can get "stereotype" claims just from existing.
>>5771208
what about non-steryotypical ones? Like Forge from X-men, or Billy from Predator
>>5771217
I'm not sure what the hold up is on those two. I know people always bug Neca for the rest of Dutch's crew but their explanation is that likeness rights were never part of the general Predator licensing deal because the actors never signed off on it during movie production like they do nowadays. So now they have to negotiate on a person by person basis, and apparently it's been no dice with Billy's actor.
Forge though might come at some point. Hasbro has been pretty good about focusing on...

Just bought this handsome son of a bitch, but I got him used so I didn't get the little paper. Can anyone tell me how to adjust his bandanna? It seems like I'm going to break it
It should be on a balljoint, but yours might've gotten stuck with paint. Just do the hot water trick.
>>5770728
Oh, thanks anon. It must be stuck, yeah, cause I tried to force it and was certain I was going to break it.
>>5770722
>Handsome
Yeah, keep telling yourself that summerfag.
They've started breaking their own rules. Do they not realize that this isn't a tangible display?
>>5770065
>no photoshop here
>cool light painting technique
What in the motherfucking retard
>>5770071
i hate this wankers as much as the next guy but it could be done with a long exposure and a laser pointer
>>5770081
I wouldn't give them enough credit to know anything but the most basic photo techniques.
Also, I doubt they went to the expense of buying a yellow laser pointer.
Unless they show how this was made, I'm assuming photoshop
Power Rangers new and old, all new doe.
>>5770003
They also had the Red Ranger. No Yellow Ranger though.
Cool
I know that people here look down upon PAKs, but I wonder we could have an honest thread about which PAKs are absolute dogshit and which PAKs are passable, because whether you like it or not PAKs do have a bit monopoly on some character selection. The only PAK I have is Bayonetta and she's not that bad.
So currently there a couple of PAKs that caught my eye, and it's hard to ask for honest recommendation when PAK general always get shot and shitposted to death.
- DMC PAKs, DMC4 Dante/Nero and DMC3 Dante/Vergil
-Vanquish Sam Gideon
-Variant "Oni"...

I have nothing from your list but I got in D-Dog from release and I guess since he's a dog its not too bad but one of his joints around the paw has gotten loose over time. I was surprised to see that his base needed to be built with screws to handle the claw to hold him and the point to move that claw but they offer a little tool to tighten it in. Not sure if that's the norm of PAK's or just D-Dog's case.
My only other experience was at a friend's place with the Peace Walker Snake's...

MGR Raiden is pretty solid
Generally speaking, masked/helmeted characters turn out better then the ones with faces. I only have 2 PAKs (Halo 4 Spartan Warrior and Halo 2 Chief) and they're both pretty solid.

So has Figuarts Black Goku been announced yet? If not, I'm pretty sure we can all agree he's going to be released since SHF has a boner for releasing damn near any and all iterations of Goku.
We still in for the boycott if no Para Para brothers announced at SDCC?
I wouldn't mind seeing the GT trio in SHF (or kit) form. I did like the idea of space adventure arc with non over powered heroes.
Oh Pan comes with Giru.
I love mine, they adorn my bed when I'm not sleeping.
Here are mine, lobster bro. They aren't in great condition though. Especially the Peace one. I know he's more """rare"""" since he has the tag that says suface wash and not surface wash but I have no intentions of selling any of these. Not that I'd even get a single penny for them.
I had a whole bunch of beanie babies and other plushies until recently. :c
Beanie babies were pretty great for low-end plushies.
>>5759557
I love yours
VAH Sanji is up for preorder, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed.
>>5777808
Why? He looks awesome
>>5777815
I wish these figures had a better selection of interchangeable faces that came with some of the more exaggerated looks from One Piece.
I wish Luffy had a face with a big open mouth like he's drooling at some meat. I wish Nami had a face with her money eyes. And I wish Sanji had a little more of an exaggerated lust face. I know it's not always exaggerated, but I would prefer it.
>>5777837
Also, I think his Diable Jambe effect doesn't look good at all.
These are some minor things, but they're enough for me to question the price point. At least Sanji comes with more parts than most of them.
