News: >Kotobukiya is making reproduction kits for Arnval and Strarf based on new Machineca (マシニーカ) bodies designed by Apsy. >Plastica.jp will sell blank bodies once he's happy with the final design. >Megami Device (メガミデバイス) is another proposed line using that new body, so they'll be compatible too. They could be GKs, model kits, or figures. Too soon to know. >Frame Arms Girl continues with an unarmored kit plus the architect is up next, with another mech on the way. >Blade teamed up with Megahouse to make some cheaper, 8cm tall 1:1 battle robot figures called Desktop Army. Their plan includes 3d printable add-ons to appeal to customizers. tldr it's a good time to be a Shinkifag.
Where to buy second hand Shinkis: >eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid Latvia. >Mandarake - search 武装神姫 and don't trust listing images (they sometimes get mixed up). >Yahoo Japan Auctions - same kanji as above, you'll need a proxy, try Noppin or FromJapan. >Taobao - search 武装神姬 and use a proxy like Taobaoring, Taoboafocus, or Bhiner. >Amiami occasionally gets some preowned. They tend to sell fast. >Check the BST, My Figure Collection, and Busou Shinki World for sales.

I have returned gentlemen. sorry for my absence all, including the faithful ones like buzzclaw. still kinda grown out of actually setting up displays for the time being but i'm still collecting and will try to post some of the new ones soon. for now, some older ones. will try to do requests too
That said, if the joints seem gummy, heat them first and you should be fine. He's a pretty great huge monster thing so depending on what you like, there's likely a spot for him somewhere in you collection.
Yeah, fuck that shit. Don't get it unless you plan on returning it to where you bought it from right after, because it's a terrible figure. Awesome sculpt and paint, but lemme tell you about this one.
First off, all of them have stuck thigh swivels, and mostly the right thigh - I've bought four of them and they all had the same issue. You can fix the problem by heating it up and then popping it apart to shave it down or twist it gently to get it moving, but one of them actually tore right off. So if you're not used to dealing with stuck swivel joints,... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I am looking for a toy I used to have when I was younger. The picture is my rendition of what I remember them looking like. There were a couple of different designs/colors and they clicked every time you moved the head or limbs. I remember getting in a kids meal. They also had notches on the hands to connect them to others. I am looking for the name of them or even physical pictures of them. Thanks in advance.
Hard to really identify it for certain from that angle and without a point of reference for size. There's a lot of different lines that have Scopedog figures and models and the only way to really differentiate them is size and the small differences in proportions, etc.
I'm assuming you've already reverse image searched it and that was fruitless, but you could narrow it down pretty well probably by just googling around for the different lines of VOTOMS figures and figuring out which ones did... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>>5207892 The Takara ones have a much different (smoother) paint texture, and the weathing is heavier with a lot of chips and silver showing. It's definitely none of the ATs in pic related - stuff like the riveting around the pauldrons, the vents on the legs etc. mean it's more than just a regular model dolled up for convention.
