Alright /toy/, since Figuarts Bruce Lee comes out in a few months I wanna get a collection of martial arts users. I've got Bruce preordered already, and I've got Figuarts Master Asia, Kamen Rider Meteor, and figma Hibiki Tachibana right now. What are some others I should grab
>>5276348
There're those Fwoosh ninja figures. If you missed the kickstarter I think they're still selling their blue ninja via their website, so you'll be able to pick that one up at least.
Otherwise there're also the Fist of the North Star Revoltech figures as well.
SOTA Fei Long!

Figma Bruce Lee
I've known about these guys for a few years but only recently considered getting any. They've always seemed cool though, and would IMO fit just great alongside Lego Technic figs, Pose Skeletons, and the like. I'd like to buy some, but what're you guys' impression of them?
Also I'm paranoid as to whether their site is still alive, because it seems the sales section is stocking and the copyright's from 2004. Are they dead?
http://stikfas.com/products.html
They were pretty great. But now, they're super dead.
>>5276350
Mm, yeah, just a little research into it shows they're long dead.
Amazon has listings but I'll guess most are unpurchasable from the "Stikfas" seller and the reviews for some of them seem negative too. Such a shame.
There's a bunch of 'em on eBay. Not exactly hard to find.
The only ones really worth tracking down though, are the ones made in colab with Hasbro. Those are quality products. After they split off, most of the plastic used was brittle as all hell. Couldn't put the damn things together before snapping off a balljoint or forming large stress marks. I reckon some don't have that issue, but good luck trying to figure out which ones those are.
I have this. I can't find any on Ebay and don't know what I should sell mine for.
PROS:
>line detailing
>smoke-free home
>box included
CONS:
>a gear inside has stripped; no longer walks, but still lights up
>already built
How much should I ask for this?

MY NIGGA
i always wanted the berserk fury, but i could never find him, leaving my childhood incomplete
>>5276702
That's a geno saurer.
Anyway, OP, I'd go for about 30-35. The movement was the point of the kits, and kind of an essential feature. Most collectors are after that.
do people even buy already built model kits?
What's the longest I can wait before paying an Amiami order?
*Before getting banned/my order cancelled.
>>5275967
look at the email they sent you.
>>5275967
The email will tell you the due date. Remember that it's in Japan time. Usually 7 days, I think, maybe 10.
Take out your action figures and do the dance poses based on the dance the Peanuts kids did in the Christmas special.
Easy:
- Only do a pose based off one of the characters
t
- Do an animated gif of your one characters doing one of the dances
- a pic of a group of your figures doing this scene
Hard:
- do an animated pic of your group of figures doing this scene.

It's not even thanksgiving yet
>>5275717
It's not even xmas yet and what do you knoe, there's xmas stuff everywhere
I'll give the gif one a go later this week
>>5275717
Would you like to buy a Thanksgiving wreath?
:^)
One Punch Man Figma
Oh great, I don't have to buy the Nendoroid.
>>5274424
FUCK YES
I hope he get at least 3 faces and none of them as exclusive bonus
>no source give
Ive owned them all.
The neca Xenos have a great sculpt and decent articulation but shity soft plastic, terrible balance, and horrible QA. I've had 4 xenos from them and none of them can stand on their own for longer than a few hour without falling over. I guess they are great if you want all your xenos in crouched poses all the time....
The Figuarts have a nice sculpt and decent balance, but shitty tails that constantly fall off, next to no neck movement, and are way too small.
Revoltechs suffer from the same balance, range of motion and scale issues...

I have mine boxed up and don't want to get it out to check, but when you say no neck movement, do you mean side to side? Because the thing has great articulation moving up and down. Unlike the Neca it can move its head to switch between bipedal and quadrupedal poses.
neca dog alien.
It's pretty much perfect.
Anyone have this guy?
I love the design and there doesn't seem to be a better figure of him. Although he'd make a great hot toys, doubt it he'll happen.
>>5273076
I own him. He's pretty good, but he works better as an individual display piece since their AK Batman wasn't that great.
Still, unlike the DCC figure he can actually hold his rifle in a two-handed pose and the "eyes" are actually painted on his helmet.
did square enix design the gotham knight? because this perfectly captures the edgy nature of the games

I wish the primary pak sculptor knew what hands look like. Getting sick of the itty bitty super skeletal fem hands.
I mean, proportions aside, most paks look decent altogether, but the hands always just look like horsh shit.
So how about that Judge Dredd figure? Anyone got theirs yet?
>>5272970
Yeup. I really like it. Im not the biggest Dredd fan (never read the comics but loved the most recent movie). However I love the Batman Mezco put out. So I bought Dredd and im not disappointed. Its awesome how is accessories attach to his belt. And his shoulder pads are great - I really love the magnetized placement and they are more gold than the promo pictures let on. My only complaint is that his fake leather suit is baggy around the crotch. It may just be mine and its really not visible. Its just strange that theres...

Anyone else having this problem?
>>5272970
I'm honestly more interested in the Lawmaker figures, i'm a sucker for 1/12 motorcycles. Does anyone know if they'll be available separately?
Oh look, it's time for another "Warehouse full of shit we can't sell" sale.
http://www.hlj.com/autumn-sale-2015
>>5272961
Super Best Den-O belt for 1800 yen only lasted like an hour. That was nuts.
Also that big Ultraman gorgon monster vinyl for 600 yen is kinda neat.
Shockingly, they actually had something I wanted this time. I got Figuarts Kamen Rider ZO and Kinnikuman.
>>5272961
Most of the drive figures (not the figuarts) are on sale
And saw some jojo SAS for sale
Anybody here down with MOTU Classics? I think they're pretty awesome for getting some monsters to supplement a 1/12 collection.
I have He-Man, Battle Cat, and Skeletor. I'd have more if Matty didn't make them so hard to buy.
>>5272768
I've got a bunch of them. Most of the Horde, all the NA stuff except for the scuba guy, King Grayskull, both cats, a bunch of different warrior women, the giant zombie and the giant 4 arms rock god, the white Sorceress, and Skeletor.
They're great toys and I've been meaning to take more pics of them lately. I just wish Matty wasn't so... Matty.
>>5272788
There's typically a big mattycollector sale in November, but that means dealing with the mattycollector site and, god help you, Digital River. Last year I cleaned up and spent almost $150 during the sale and finally got a Battle Cat and She-Ra amongst others.
anyone else pick this up?
the pre orders are shipped
really harsh flash but this is what it looks like
>>5269117
I got it off amiami and paid a lot
like 2nd batch of jehuty cost 6,940 JPY
2nd Tsugumori colour was 8,390 JPY
this was 21,330 JPY
seems like it's still in stock at the same price, I was just worried about with a dick in the ass the first Tsugumori was to find; and how they released this in tandem with the new metal gear one
I like it, it's a little difficult to pose; still trying to be careful with it
It's got metal parts unlike the other riobots i have
I hope someone knows this and reply some of your toys!
BTW for otaku's who is looking for a good anime
It's Zoids
>>5267073
What the fuck am I reading here
I dunno what you're saying, but Zoids thread
And other such cool stuff.
Planning on buying some furniture for my 1:12th scale figures. Anyone know good sites for that purpose?
>>5265329
Hobby lobby has had some good ones in the past. Failing that, they are dime a dozen on eBay, or if you live near one, Ikea has a small lounge set that comes with one of their signature couches and shelving unit and shit
>>5265380
Shit, thanks man.
A nice setup is great. Feels odd to just put them on stands with no real fitting environment for them.
>>5265416
Hobby Lobby's where the all the furniture except for the kitchen stuff came from in that pic. I got lucky and they were having a 30% off sale, so keep an eye out for that.
What committee mandated that all dioramas had to be alleys or sewers?
Depends on which part of the town you're looking at.
ur mum
>>5263772
The diorama committee during the grand assembly of the 7th /toy/ congress back in 2010.
