Hello /toys/
Never order a "toy". I just want a big realist Trex with nice details in my room.

Is it a very good value for money ?
I want to pre-order it but are there downsides or something i should know ? Some star wars figures half the size of it are at the same price and it doesn't feel this good (for me).
I'm pretty " poor" so it's a pretty big step...

Sideshow makes excellent quality statueshit. I have a few and I absolutely love them.
That should tell you two things:
1: If you have the cash and you really love the figure, go for it. You won't regret it.
2: This is statueshit. Take it someplace else.

Can you post some pics of yours ?
I'm a yuropoor so i cannot see the "statuesh€t" before buying. Is there any flaws i can expect ? Will the paint craft be as seen in the photos or one step down in the small details ? (As i understand it's cast and paint by chinese painters.).
Mezo is doing spock for the one:12 line.

batman v superman one:12 when?
Shit. I hope they make more. I have been itching for good 1:12 star trek toys.
I need to buy a toy for my younger brother, i was thinking of buying a log for him, what does /toy/ think? Ive heard blammo is not much different in quality, to something like jazwares or hasbro, so im not too sure.
The Blammo Log is the best one. It's better than bad, it's good.
I had one as a kid and it was great, but it rolled over my neighbor's dog and my parents made me get rid of it. :(

Log is pretty great, just make sure you have a big enough hill to make the most of your log rolling fun!
You knoe
All I have so far is Scarlet Rain. Is Mandarake still the best bet for getting a charming Drossel? I'm not really keen on he ¥10000-¥14000 price tag, if I can find her cheaper somewhere. What other cute robot grills should I pick up?
I already know about the Polynians.
I bought a charming drossel for 7k last week.
Look up Black Lotus and the original Drossel.

From Mandarake? If so, good deal. Black Lotus looks pretty cool. I might be interested in her later on. Thanks, anon.

Greetings /toy/ First time browsing/posting.
I want to pick up some FE stuff, but I havent collected anything since like 1995. I used to be an avid collector of the original stuff, and I made a killing selling it off before I went to college (before toy boy lucas crashed the market with saturation)
So why are all the new toys so fucking expensive? Inflation aside, I remember 3.75 figures being 2.99 in stores, and I still have some original carded figures from ROTJ that are worth less than the new ones.
Is this limited release? what the actual fuck? I feel...

People are scalping them because they're the "hot new thing" right now.
>>5347854
First off, eBay and many other online websites can be poor representations of a toy/s value. You have people scalping (buying toys in higher demand for a higher price to make a profit, see your picture). You also have people overestimating a figure's value, also seen in your picture.
Star Wars usually doesn't have limited release figures, and if they do they are usually comic convention exclusives and are stated as such. Sometimes waves of figures are harder to find than others, since distributions...

Oh I noticed a mistake. The 5 point of articulation 3.75" figures are now like $6 or $7 since the Force Awakened figures started up, even though they used to be about that price for 2 figures. Now is not a good time to be a Star Wars figure collector imo.
Anyone know whats up with that thing hes holding?
it looks like an attachment to his sholder gun but he also uses it as a stun rod?

Hey /toy/, I don't usually post here but I could use your LEGO suggestions...
I'm looking to buy myself some sort of Lego set to build over Christmas week. I'm more concerned about the set being a fun/engaging build than what the finished product looks like. Ideal price range would be under $150, but I'm willing to go up to $200 if you really recommend something great. For reference, the last two sets I built were the Kwik E Mart and the Guardians of the Galaxy ship.
Thanks!

Literally kill yourself abd GTFO /toy/, plebian shittaste bitch.
I got the newest Millennium Falcon. It was a pretty fun build. Not sure if you're into Star Wars, though.

Family Guy fan detected.
Ask a guy who had a panic attack about losing a toy last night anything.
Was it Japanese?
Was it a Battle Droid?
>>5347123
No
>>5347126
And no, aswell. It was a lego nexo knight, i lost it on my bed, i was afraid its in the drive way runover(i still havent found it), si i threw everything iff my bed looking for it, making me loose scarface, my only friend. Being alone made me panic, so i frantically looked for him all night, only now finding him.
since neca has been fucked out of rereleasing the TMNT figures and playmates one suck ass, how are the bootleg neca ones?
i'm thinking of buying leonardo but i wanna know the plastic quality on these
The plastic is generally pretty on par with the authentic versions. The rubbery plastic on the chest shell is pretty stiff on the knock offs compared to the real ones preventing you from using the ab crunch but to be fair that joint doesn't have much range to begin with.
Just watch out for some of the hip joints. I haven't had any break but some are kinda loose. Overall they are totally worth it for the cheap prices they go for on ebay.
>>5344138
so no brittle plastic syndrome?
and do they hold their weapons well?

/v/ believes that Legos are a more prudent investment than prostitutes
Do you agree with the reasoning?
/v/ plays Lego licensed video games so their arguments are invalid.
>>5343575
I'll put you under "Pro-Prostitutes" then
>>5343568
God help me but /v/ is right.
Prostitutes cost you money and pretty much achieve what I can do with one hand only with the chance of an STD :^)
hey guys, how rare are this figures?
>>5342714
They are not rare, and in fact if I remembered, peg-warmed quite a long time.
Hope you didn't pay a lot for it, or buy it because you thought it was rare.
Are trains generally accepted on /toy/?
Pic related; I own it.
>>5331874
I used to have a few hornby model trains
Soon.
