I just got this Sting figure the other day, and while checking it out to see if it had any of Mattel's usual QC gaffes, I found that one of the hands had been stretched and bent by the plastic casing. I kept the receipt and the box in case I needed to exchange it, but are there any simple fixes for this?
Also, General for these sorts of problems.
Heat the joint with a hair dryer and bend it back into place. Optional: clamp it together as it cools, or put the figure in the freezer afterwards.
>>5383026
I have tried that before with other toys and the bendy part always went back.
It never stayed unbent.... not sure what to do
>>5383026
hair dryer won't work on the PA (assumption) being used for the joint here. You'd have to heat gun it with clamps consistently, freezing will just make it more brittle since it doesn't allow it to cool properly. The problem with clamps here is that they're most likely wreck the pvc surroundings, especially at the higher temps
>>5384545
because you have to actually heat it enough to warp it, not just bend it. this doesn't necessarily...

Though I gotta admit, that power loader looks pretty cool with all that wear & wash paint effects, but look at the price..... and the scale. Could've gotten all of these from NECA; larger, more accurate, & cheaper. What were they thinking? Are they like some kind of Chinese knock-off toy company?
I don't see neca makiung joe scaled toys any time soon so I'm happy with this.
>1/18 Power Loader
Fuck.

Funko Pop! Vinyl thread anyone? Last one got archived.
Discuss your recent acquisitions or which series you'd like to see get made into Pop! Vinyl Figurine.
Myself, I recently picked up the Ygritte figurine from Game of Thrones for $12 AUD which was good considering I can't really find it anywhere else. I'd like to get the Vincent and Jules figures from the Pulp Fiction collection and I'd also like to see some Fight Club, Indiana Jones, Mad Max or Die Hard figurines get made. Stannis from Game of Thrones is one I'd like as well. I need to find more space though.
>>5340842
We need Stannis so badly.
Apparently, the Roddy Piper POP! might be a Target exclusive, like the Ric Flair figure.
New Pirates Of The Caribbean POP!s announced:

Question for those that know:
Can the A B and C Ideon 1/600 Mechas be combined? Couldn't find any info on that anywhere.
anyone capable of reading moon would be appreciated as well

I can't read the kanji, the picture quality is way too low. Sadly the rest doesn't really tell me all that much.
Jabba the Hutt is my favorite Star Wars character, which action figure of him should i get? The kenner one?
I got a Black Series one of him on sale at Toys R Us for $20, he isn't really worth more than that. But look into it.
>>5384613
howcome? I never heard anyone say that in their life. Shame you'll never probably get a game to play as Jabba
>>5384673
Jabba is also my favorite star wars character, fuck you and your shittaste bitch!
>>5384613
Any one would do, as i have most of the mes theyve ever made of him in the basic assortments. The old kenner orns sculpt is great. Though its a bit costly, and sorely lacking in paint aps. The saga collection jaba i think is a safe beg, atleast for your first jabba figure.
<- Remember these? It's like legos with rods n' shit.
lego with rods is technic you stupid cunt
Of course I remember K'Nex. Still kicking myself for ever putting mine in a garage sale.

For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

Thinking on buying some revoltech evas. Are they worth it? Which ones are the best?
Yes they are worth it.
>>5367347
They have their positives and negatives.
+ Very cool looking
+ Can get into extremely dynamic poses
+ There is a really wide range of Eva units available
- Sculpting and paint are a little thick and mushy looking compared to say, the precision sculpts on a Robot Damashii
- Glossy paint may get sticky over time
? - Revolver joints are a love-em-or-hate-em thing. They take a while to get used to I think.
Eva 02 wille custom or whatever (the one in your pic and this one) is my favorite one currently.
>>5367347
For everything but the MP Eva, get the Evo versions.

Yeah, I want to see some shit that wouldn't look out of place on my classics shelf. Hell, they dont even need to be classic g1 characters, just give me some solidly designed transformer toys that don't stick out like an overly designed thumb.
My biggest dream 3rd party line would be something that just focuses...

One guy in the 3P thread argued that most 3P designers are good 3D modelers, but they're not necessarily good with aesthetics and stylization.
I wholeheartedly agree with that point. it perfectly explains the weird aesthetics you get with 3P designs, and them stacking on more and more layers of detail on their designs

Waifushit line when?
This beautiful bastard came in the mail today. I ended up getting the exclusive with the Lassiter laser and an extra head that qmx didn't tell anyone about but I'm really glad they did. The one in my picture is the second head, which is much better than the rosy cheeked first head that was on Mal.
Anyone else pick this up or want to talk any other new 1/6 figures?
Rosy cheeked first head with note from qmx
