This Jesus Ken was also shown at the museum display, (In Rome) with not one condescending Christian voice.

There's also about four or five different version of the Virgin Mary. Again, nobody in Christendom gives a flying fuck, unlike those whiny Hindus.

What's your favorite scale? Mine is between 1/10th or 1/12th, maybe 1/12 slightly more

>>
>>5554252
1/12 means 6" right? because yes.
>>
>>5554280
1/12 means take the height of the object and divide it by 12. 1/12 only means 6 inches if the particular thing is originally 6 feet tall

Bionicle was so cool in the first year. What would have happened if they kept the mysterious lore and never changed the aesthetic, but built on what they had made?

nah the new stuff is trash they threw all the mysticism, mysteriousness out the window. with puffy masks and superhero chests

I found the later figures alright (2006 and 2009 were great years), but the lore lost it's touch I think. 2009 had a chance to do something interesting, but it was gutted pretty quick.

Meanwhile, Fanstoys is finally clearing out some of their backlog. Supposedly Kickback is April and Hound (with the improved head sculpt here) is June/July.

that kickback would be perfection with a glossy black finish and a better headsculpt. Oh well.

Unorthodox toy thread? Unorthodox toy thread.

When I was a kid, I used pic related to simulate the Martian spaceships from The War of the Worlds and pretend to ray-gun my figurines and Army guys.

These guys apparently aren't involved at all, going by their comments.

You guys ever include anything toy related as your interests and hobbies on a resume?
are there really ways of making things like making model kits or collecting toys seem like a good thing?
I guess you could also put down things like photography

no...unless it's something that could be considered a tertiary skill, somehow beneficial to the company, or paints you in a good light don't mention it.

maybe if you had interest in buildling RC planes or geology it might be ok to mention, but collecting action figures? no

I was talking strictly SHFSS. Kuuga (series) has base + 2 upgrades + Daguva, Decade will likely be base + upgrade + Diend, Kabuto will be base + upgrade + Gattack. Agito, Hibiki, and Kiva will just have the base form of their main Riders. I'd expect a bike too with all the bike pushing lately but Hibiki doesn't have his either.

Hey /toy/ so I recently bought this gun accessory (along with another revolver) modeled after the gun used by the character Vash The Stampede from the anime called "Trigun". I say accessory because it's scaled for 6-inch figures and I obviously plan to give it to my figures. Thing is, the next day I ended up ordering some head casts from the same site: http://castingcave.ecrater.com/

Strangely, the head casts arrived just recently but I have yet to receive the guns despite ordering the head casts at a later date. Has this happened to anyone who have dealt...

I hovered over /r/ to see it was adult oriented... When I was young I used to push around this hollow plastic noisemaker push wheel, I think the wheel was yellow and had teeth that stuck out perpendicular to the wheel as opposed to parallel and on either of the fork legs were spring arm kinda things to ping off the teeth and give a sound like this: https://soundcloud.com/truthdubstep/truth-juno

< The thing looked something like this

I managed to find out the game we used to play in elementary: treasure cove.

SOB, I meant to say I was shamelessly looking for any sauce on this toy. The Wheel was hollow like a drum and novelty of the toy played off the acoustics of the sound caused by the... wheel. Anyone know what I'm... talking about?
