Right now, somewhere a hollow is screaming so loud that the very earth shakes from it.
But that isn't relevant now.
In front of a nice and somewhat large house in west Berlin a beautiful young lady gets out of a car after a long journey.
It took Eryka five days of traveling alongside Herr Ziege to finally return home.
After an abysmal encounter with the hollow she intended on hunting down and a less than ideal escape from the shinigami that decided to pursue her she feels relieved to be home once more.
After saying goodbye to her driver and paying him she makes her way up the five steps in front of her home, her bag feels much heavier than before.
After unlocking the door and stepping inside she is greeted by her husband.
"Welcome home Dear."
Alfons embraces his wife who seems to cling on to him far longer than she used to.
She doesn't even say a word.
"Mama!"
The young Jakob cries out happily after seeing his mother return home.
"Jakob!
Come here!"
She finally lets go of her husband and instead hugs her son.
"Son, go upstairs and play a little.
I'll come soon but I want to speak with daddy a little bit."
With that she gives her child a peck on his cheek and lets him go.
Afterwards Eryka makes her way to the lounge and pours herself some traditional hungarian spirit and downs the shot almost immediately.
"I was going to ask how did it go, but I guess I don't have to anymore.
Are you alright?"
Alfons asks nervously.
She sits down on the couch and lights a cigarette.
After taking a nice lungful of the stuff she begins reciting the events.
"It was a long and tedious road, but I bore with it.
Once I got there I found that abomination towering into the sky."
"A gillian?
In such a short amount of time?"
"But that's not the best part.
It was about to cross over to Hueco Mundo, so I activated my Vollständig."

"Yeah,
I shot it with Licht Regen but the thing blasted it away with a cero that then hit me."
She raises her arm and rolls back the right sleeve of her jacket revealing second degree burn marks.
"Even though I didn't charge it nearly enough that shouldn't have happened."

How could that bastard allow such a thing?
I mean he is a traitor but he was still a former Sternritter..."
"Deserted or at least that's what the soldiers said when I asked about him, you know as a "friend" visiting him.
My guess is that thing killed him."

"Afterwards I had shinigami on my tail, luckily they got as much trouble with the lizard as I did.
So none of them really paid attention to my Vollständig nor did they chase me that much.
But that creature... it said I'm not worth its time."
She then put out the cigarette that was still only half finished.
"Even this tastes like shit now..."
Alfons doesn't say a word but instead goes closer to his wife and hugs her.
After holding it back all this time Eryka finally lets her tears flow freely.
She quietly weeps on her husbands shoulder before regaining her composure.
"I'll clean myself up and go to Jakob, I made a promise."
A couple weeks passed without Eryka using her quincy powers.
After pondering on it for a while she went to the council of the elders (The old spiritual leaders of the quincy who live in Germany) and asked them to allow her use of Letzt Stil.
She decided that her life as a quincy will never be the same again and instead decided to become an ordinary woman and leave the fighting to those who still can.
She never fired a Heilig Pfeil ever again.
Did she ever regret it? Maybe, just like with most important decisions.
But being able to spend ample time with her son and watching him grow made her confident that she made the right choice.
Meanwhile in Hueco Mundo:
Last night Pesci went to sleep as a regular hollow.
Today he awoke as a freshly transformed gillian and he is making sure everyone is aware of that fact.
For the last two minutes he was screaming at the top of his lungs and it managed to awaken everyone in the group.

Afterwards you activate your Pesquisa and begin searching for a suitable herd of gillians.
The only one that is anywhere near you is still pretty far away, so you signal her to keep going.
It took another fifteen minutes before you found the location of the herd.
When they are within eyesight Neliel begins looking at you, clearly puzzled.
"We came quite far just for a gillian.
What was your reason for coming all the way here exactly?"
"Who said anything about only one?"
Neliel clearly lost you after that one comment.
But you think it's easier to show than to tell and proceed with your plan.
With one hand you create a small thread of mucus between your fingers and with a swift sonido you put your makeshift leash on the gillians.

Neliel who was holding her ground up until now took a fatal blow.

One of the two hollows stabbed her in the back with a broken piece of quartz.
The attack landed roughly around where her liver should be.
While she screamed like a banshee after that the other hollow clenched both of its fists together and clobbered her over the head, sending her body crashing to the ground.
After the impact she goes limp, she doesn't even seem to be twitching.
Immediately your heart skips a beat and images of the tear filled eyes of Pesche, Dondochakka, Alex and Pesci flash in your brain.

Aimee lunges at you once more with yet another one of those mighty blows.
But you don't have the capacity to dodge, instead...
The sudden expansion of large kinetic energy, much like an explosion, raises a huge dust cloud over the battlefield.
Aimee couldn't see a damn thing, but she is grinning because she knows the attack hit its mark.
But as the cloud creeps away and reveals the result her mask shifts drastically from an expression of satisfaction to one of horror.
At the other end of her fist an arm can be seen touching it.
But calling it an arm is too generous, instead it could be accurately described as a mangled mess of flesh and bone.
Every bone in the lizard like hollows arm broke and many of the fragments tore the connective tissues around it to shreds.
If that wasn't enough the sheer force of her punch caused large, deep, open wounds all over the arm.

If it was her then she'd be screaming her lungs out right now but the battlefield is deathly quiet right now.

"They've been gone for two hours now.

Just as he said that he could feel the familiar presence of Neliel off in the distance, but it was coming rather slowly.

But you quickly shake those thoughts away.
It's a bad omen to think about someones death.
After an hour or so Pesche and Alex return with three regular hollows.
It's not much, but it'll have to do for today.
Pesche seems to have calmed down a little perhaps it was the hunt itself perhaps Alex in the end it makes no difference.
You call Dondochakka out and the four of you start eating.
But this time dinner goes by without anyone saying a word, it's an unwelcome change.
Afterwards you tell them that you should rotate who keeps watch over the injured.
In addition you also recommended that they bring Kaizar out to the open so you can at least watch over him while the others only have to make sure about the health of Neliel.
You put Kaizar to the spot he usually sits at and for most of the night you actually manage to stay awake and only doze off after several hours.
The next morning people seem to be in high spirit as Neliel actually woke up as well.
Though she is still too weak to move, it's good to see that she will be alright.

It seems that she doesn't like to hold back others at all.
So you ask her to take things easy for a while until she gets better.
But this is good.
It looks like she is in no serious danger and that made Pesche and Dondochakka quite relieved.
While they begin returning to their former carefree selves you keep watch over Kaizar until he wakes up as well.
However after the hours keep passing you realize that it won't happen anytime soon.
You even tried to take a closer look at his arm but the sight was too gruesome for your liking.
Muscles and bones snapping back into place slowly is truly disgusting.
Alex is sitting next to you, she probably wanted to use you to block Kaizar from her vision.
