The Black Company series by Glen Cook has a bunch of these for the wizards, like Soultaker, Shapeshifter, the Limper, the Hanged Man, etc.
I like it fine because it gets lampshaded a lot by characters noting how pretentious those wizards are because they love their edgy names, and because it's excused as them needing fake names because wizards.
