Imperial guard faction or humans with a psyker leader that marched on a temple full of chaos worshiping psykers.

Theses humans were found to be pure in the eyes of the emperor and were converted into adult human space marines as a result of this they are smaller than your normal space marine.

They use a mixture of terminator and space marine armor that gives them the necessary mass to fight in hand to hand combat with other space marines or chaos space marines.

FYI, Theses events happen during M31.
