War is launched against the Coastelle Tribe to the North. Over the course of a month, their army is completely decimated and the remaining population assimilated into the Harata. In order to better administer the lands of the Harata, a Tribal Council is formed and the lands organized.

Managing two settlements and nearly 1,000 people is difficult for Neolithic Peoples. Unrest has increased. However, a new technology has made life much easier. Simple dugout Canoes allow both travel between the settlements and along the coast. Fishing bounty is also increased.

Over time, the cultural divide between the Harata and the Coastelle becomes largely non-existent. The Coastelle "sea spirits" are folded into the Animistic Pantheon of the Harata, becoming more of a nature-centric collection of deities, spirits and demons than merely the worship of the River itself. This combination of religious and linguistic drift makes communication and cooperation within the Tribe much easier.

With the joining of Tribes, even through force, there evolves new traditions. The process of "marriage," or the tying of one or more women to a man, becomes a common place form of familial arrangement. The stabilizing force of these family units transforms Harata society in a more sedentary one, focused on a combination of hunting, fishing and limited foraging to feed the people.

The village to the West is inhabited by strange people very much unlike the Easterlings. The Easterlings are suspicious of outsiders and proud, while the Swampmen are much friendlier, and more technologically advanced. They lack the numbers of the Easterlings, but have discovered the secrets of working bronze, which they allegedly have found in the mountains to the south. They worship a God of the Swamp as well as a Goddess of Fire.

Perfect to take advantage of. Let's start trying to gain their trust, and their secrets. Once we have gotten close enough, we can try and absorb them.

Offer to teach the Swampmen of their river, who is brother to ours. We will tell them stories of The River and teach them to fish and harvest their river's bounty. In exchange ask for them to teach us of their goddess of fire and the bronze she smelts for them.
>>
>>46074180
Obviously, Goddes of fire is daughter of God of the Sky and Goddess of the forest, as we seen when he puts that bright light and hits a tree with it. God of the Swamp seems similar to the God of rivers.
I think our people will live in harmony and prosper.

As we earlier get the knowledge of animal husbandry, and how to train wolves from easterlings, I think we should start using them for hunting. This will not only help us making hunts easier, but also could increase our might
