GM: So you want to play a white male human fighter?
That's almost as insane as when Elminster was asked to raise the girl he was going to spend the next couple centuries having sex with by her mother.

O Ed Greenwood, does thy creepiness never end?
>>48217982
It will in about 22 years, going by average life expectancy in the US.

That's as terrible as Jeffrey's plan to mask his scent from the trolls.
Fantastic, now the GM won't make us spend 2 sessions traveling the wilderness with "dramatic pauses" between encounters that he expects us to fill with interesting character dialogue.
Damnit Jim, at least cut to us making camp so we have an activity to talk about and not "you pass another rolling sand dune. Oh look here's another. And another. And there's 10,000 more off in the distance."

My campaign is no longer worth playing.

So, low-tier comedy? Fuck that.
>>48217559
Depends on if it's the lolrandum/"It's funny because it's racist/sexist/some guy got punched in the balls for no reason" sort of cutaway gag.
>>48217559
Yeah, let's take tips from a painfully unfunny show, that seems like a great idea.
Could use them to say no to stupid ideas the players want to roll for. Get a smirk or chuckle and continue on more seriously.
"You can't seduce the mayor, remember when you tried with the goblin chieftan?"
>cutaway to a charisma check, failure ends with him hogtied over a cooking pot and the idea is chucked
>success and the idea ends with them as a sub in a bondage/flogging scene and you decide against it anyway
