I try to do something like this in my current setting. Since elves are "humans but better at everything" (only partly true) it would only make sense if they where in majority in large parts of the world. And since elven women (and men) are considered beautiful by most human men (and women) humans try to score with elves. I've decided to not include half-breeds, so a elven female will always give birth to an elf and a human will always birth to a human.
This has led to human groups concerned that they might become outbred starting movements to encourage human mating. At the same time elven supremacist movements fueled by their control of most of modern society and their perceived superiority enjoy sizeable popular support.

What has she done to prove her love? What has she done to ensure your survival, or at the very least make your safe return more likely? Did she buy a high quality suit of armor for you? Did she have your back when that giant orc was about to tear your spine out? Sweet words only get you so far, it's her actions in your greatest hour of need that define her feelings for you. And nothing is more loving than a woman who'd gladly lay down her life for yours.

Friendly reminder that FFH is a Civ 4 mod(very worth playing) and most of the time its THE winning strategy to not get involved in any wars until you can decisively strike first. Every hammer you spend on workers, settlers and productivity increasing buildings will help you roll your snowball faster and faster untl you outexpand, outtech and ourproduce your neighbors. The guy in the story is an Elohim, and their worldspell(racial power) is a wall that doesnt let ANYTHING enter their borders for 30 turns(stays the same on quick, where most multiplayer games are played making even more powerful proportionally). Its literally an unpunishable farmers gambit,

Hmm. Potentially interesting question. We've seen settings where human guys produce human sons/monster daughters with monster females, and we've seen similar reversals where human women get chased down by monster guys to produce their offspring. But what would human society be like in a setting where there were only human males, and they had to woo one specific type of monster girls, who are also being targeted by the males of all other races?
I suppose you'd argue that they're not really humans in that case, but warcraft humans are descended from cursed stone colossi and still count.
