Getting things started off with some of my own writing

http://vocaroo.com/i/s0a7FBNwjx0x

"You ever heard of Steam engines, Private? The Heart and soul of the industrial Revolution? They are kinda like Plasma reactors...They Boiled water and kept it bottled up tight, Using Metal pipes and rubber gaskets,
Instead of Exciting gases into a high energy state and bottling it all up with magnetics, Yeah?

Well... They called the steam in there 'Living steam' Treated those Engines and boilers like prisons and yokes, Harnessing a living demon to do their bidding. Because if a pipe burst, Or a gasket blew? All came undone. THeir iron trains, their wooden boats, their brick factories. Nothing could withstand the rage of Steam unleashed. Men were flash-broiled, Walls blasted over and the whole device could come apart! That's all cause of pressurized Boiled water... Now, what do you think will happen if our little Magnetic's shut off? What will happen with all that Live Plasma?

And just look at that reactor. A big Magnetic donut with a Stellar filling… That fucker right there, Humming along…. It keeps me up at night. "

Requesting a raspy voice for this one.

"Witness, Your grace.
The death of our nation, The death of our people, The death of the very land that sustained us. All to ash, All to bone, All to rot.

All for you.
Sing, My liege, Sing out for us who will die for you.

Let your words rouse these bones once more!
Let your cry sharpen our blades!
Let your song be the execration of our Foes!

We Stand with you in this death, My lord,
By your hand this world will know the price of courting the stars."
>>
Evilish, smooth tone: "I am Darth Revan, Dark Lord of the Sith. Those who use the dark side are also bound to serve it. To understand this is to understand the underlying philosophy of the Sith. The dark side offers power for power's sake. You must crave it. Covet it. You must seek power above all else, with no reservation or hesitation. The Force will change you. It will transform you. Some fear this change. The teachings of the Jedi are focused on fighting and controlling this transformation. That is why those who serve the light are limited in what they accomplish."

I'd like a quick and easy one.

Youthful, joking tone with a faint hint of nobility to it.

Don't know why, but as a nuclear engineer this speech annoys the fuck out of me for so many reasons.
>>
>>48154214
Huh, Well, thanks then man. I'm glad I did it well.

>>48154309
you know exactly why, you fucking nerd. It's comparing steam engines to a fucking toroidal Fusion reactor. Also, I'm pretty sure that those things just poof out and kinda burn the inner lining should the magnates fail, rather than blowing sky high. you could pretend that the Head Engineer is simply trying to haze the newbie.
>>

It doesn't do anything. The fuel would cut out before the field failed. And if it doesn't, then liquid boron is dumped in and the reaction stops. The reactors actually require the dilation of the magnetic fields to get the reaction going unless you're running at Q=infinity, which like running a nuclear reactor at critical, you can do it but it's not smart.

The plasma is so low density also that it couldn't even melt the wall unless someone is constantly heating it the plasma with excess heat. We're talking about literally everything going wrong at once, while having been made by Russian engineers, who translated it to Japanese and then to German while being run by fucking French chefs. Just something that's not gonna happen.
>>
>>48154475
Fuckin told you, Nerd. you knew why. thanks for the rant, it's very informative!

Now I want some one to record your rant as the privet, Countering the Head guy's hazing.

Can I get somebody to say this in a snakelike voice?

"Our Gods are vulnerable! Through sacrifice, we may yet ascend, regain our true place! Go, my brothers—find the unworthy, bring them here, to me!"
>>
Alright /tg/, you're pretty good in monologues, how about we try something more challenging?

Here's the script:

A: You are allowed to complain, but only using words with an uneven number of letters.
B: You are being troublesome again...
A: Would you rather have the even ones? Uneven has useful words like 'I, didn't, think, she, was' and 'a'!
B: That's not the point! And where was the other one going?!
A: [stops to think for a moment] You are surprisingly good at this.
C: [slowly, as if counting letters mentally] I... dislike... green... spinach!
B: Don't just join in with that annoying scheme!
A: You switched to even letters?!

Choose a part (or do multiples, I don't mind) and do the lines with one or two seconds of silence in between.
If we get a full assemble, I'll edit them together and present the result here.
>>
>>48177237
I'm not sure I understood the request right, but this is how I imagined a snake would sound like.

Greatighns, humourtals!
Hello and welcome to /qst/'s first session of Dungeons and Dadaragons.
Many of the things you will encounter will be absurd, hopefully to the point of hilarity, yet I ask our players and audience to treat the game with full gravity. Maximum humor results from maximum earnesty.
A background in Dadaism, Surrealism, 'pataphysics, nonsense literature, and wordplay will be helpful but unnecessary for full enjoyment of this game. As you will see, most of the writing in this game will be a mixture of neologisms, portmanteaus, and glossolalia. The meanings of the words will not be explained to you; it's for you to discern the lexical and semantic connections (and/or lack thereof). This is done so your imagination can react creatively to the gameworld
>[Green is not a creative color.]
and to decenter the experience of conventional gameplay.

I hope this goes well.
